sending more than one photo

Hello
I use my phone to take photos at work and then send them to suppliers to help identify parts.
Recently I had to send about 6 photos which means 6 email.
Is there a way to insert / add more than one photo to an email?
Thanks
Gavin

You can select up to 5 photos to send in one email.
Go to photos section, then press select on bottom left most button, select upto 5 photos.
You get tick mark on the selected images.
Select share and then put email address of sender;
You may get option to compress your images.
Select the option and it goes. May take some time to compress the images.

Personally I try to send 4 max at one time.
Maybe it is me. But I think the device sends two smaller ones faster than one larger one
When I have sent 5 at one time I have some some 'receivers' ISP bounce them because if size. Sometimes 4 also
Thx

Laura to answer your question, when your device says searching, its looking for ATT network, that can be the old GSM, or the new 3G WCDMA stuff.
Voice calls and Text messages are delivered thru this system.
OTHER Data goes thru Wifi if you have that on.
2nd part of the question.
With out having another ATT device there its hard to tell if its a netowrk issue or your device specifically.
If you have another iphone handy and its got service, then that helps rule out network issues. If other ATT devices are not connecting thats a good indicator its a netowrk / tower problem near you.
Go into settings and turn on airplane mode, wait a few seconds then turn it off. If for some reason the device glitches and losses network connectivity airplane mode helps to reset that.
About once or twice a month my device will loose Data connection to ATT. I will have ATT but no 3G. I have to do the same thing to re-enable a connection.
Or i power my device off, wait a minute and power it back on.

My husband called and asked if I had received his text, which I have not done. But upper left on my iPhone 4 screen says Searching .... and I cannot send or receive any text messages. I can get online, go to the app. store, but no texting. Is this an AT&T problem?

Laura, You might also try reseating the SIM card, take it out and put it
back in. Also, the SIM card may be bad. AT&T will replace it if necessary
at no cost.

Inadvertently I did what you suggested re: the airplane mode. And the AT&T network connections were restored. I had never had this happen before.
I also turned on my Edge and made a phone call to make sure that things worked ... the p/c worked and I got a bunch of texts that were floating in neverland. I never use Edge unless I am off of my home wifi, and only have the lowest, 200mb plan. I do have unlimited phone calls and texts, but rarely do much on the web on my iPhone. I do more of that on my iPad and iMac.
Then I did a hard reset, and everything worked perfectly.
I truly want to thank everybody for their suggestions ... wonderful advice, and will be kept for future problems. It definitely made me feel less like I had become marooned from my iPhone.

If you talk to any of the cell service providers, the first thing they will tell you for most problems is to turn off the phone every day for a minute, to allow the phone to reset its connection to their network.
I don't do that, except when I have any issue connecting to the network.

Hi Brent,
To me turning off the phone means turning off the phone call making and receiving function, or what you (and probably everyone else) are calling voice. I'm old fashioned so I still think of the cellular gizmo as something to make phone calls with that can also be used to do other things but in reality it is a device that has all kinds of amazing functions and capabilities that can also make phone calls.
I went to Safari and I did find an iPhone User Guide. At the bottom of the display there is a book icon which lead to the Guide. But when I touched Mail on the upper right it took me to a yahoo log-in screen. All that is to say that I don't know how to find the preloaded email, I guess the Guide that I found may of been what you were referring to.
Thanks for your patience and helping the old guy.
Charles
No, Charles, it does not turn off the phone, it turns off the voice, data, WiFi, GPS and I believe BlueTooth. So the phone is still on, but all the radio functions are turned off. So you can still listen to music, books, play games, and read email.
Start Safari, and find the last preloaded email, and you will find the manual, or you can read it on your computer from Apple.
I have AT&T and AT&T does not give a warning, but then again I have not used that much data and I have watched movies on the phone.

Charles,
If you use personal definitions for things like turning the phone off, you will have problems when you ask for help.
In Safari, the book icon is the bookmarks or favorites.
I don't follow you when you say you touched Mail on the upper right. How did you get there?
If you have not set up Mail, that might be the a set up page. I think what you mean by preloaded email, is the Mail application.
If there is an Apple Store near you, it might make it a lot easier for you if you check if they have a short class on how to use the iPhone. Hands on and face to face make things a lot easier for new users. Once you get some of the basics under your belt, you will be able to look up much of the rest.
I'm no youngster either. The kids grew up with this stuff, we have to learn it.

Good answer Brent. Computers come naturally to some but not for others. Computers seem somewhat easy for me. As such, I get frustrated with people that don't get it right away when I try explaining things to them. It's great that the Apple Store has classes on their products. They really know how to explain things in a way others understand. Apple has made it so that a little instruction makes a person want to explore on their own. It's a great feeling.

"They", you know, the bunch we sent to Washington, have talked about it. I remember something about it going into effect in December 2012 or later, if it passed.

Let's hope if it passed, it will be used. I dislike laws that get passed, get used once or twice and then get forgotten.
