Izatt today announces MileBug 2.1.5, a new year's update that now includes the IRS tax deduction rates for 2012. MileBug helps those driving their own vehicles for business, charity, medical, or other reasons receive their reimbursement and/or tax deduction. MileBug features GPS Full Path tracking with Map Display allowing editable paths via draggable pins. Data reports are available in both HTML and Excel-compatible CSV.
American Fork, Utah - The popular iPhone mileage log application, MileBug, has been updated to include the IRS 2012 tax deduction rates. The IRS has actually only changed the Medical/Moving rate, decreasing it by one-half cent. The rates for 2012 are as follows:
* 55.5 cents per mile for business miles driven
* 23 cents per mile driven for medical or moving purposes
* 14 cents per mile driven in service of charitable organizations
MileBug now incorporates these rates for the period of January 1, 2012 and forward. For those that have different rates due to geography or employment, these rates may be edited in the Presets tab under Types/Rates.
Back in 2008, just 2 weeks after the iPhone SDK was announced, plans were started for the development of MileBug. It eventually went live in the App Store on August 25th, 2008 as one of only 2500 apps then available in the store.
Over the past 3 years, MileBug has enjoyed some recognition:
1) In January 2010, MileBug was highlighted in the What's Hot section of 57 App Stores worldwide.

Inside the MileBug app is an option to select kilometers instead of miles. From within the Presets, users can define custom rates for business, charity, medical, and other categories. North Carolina based Barrow West releases Steam Gears 1.8, its steampunk styled strategy puzzle for iOS devices. Providing hours of thought provoking pleasure, Steam Gears features 50 demanding levels where every move has a consequence. As the player completes each task within the level, gears and other mechanisms combine to become working machines. Where a single move can determine the outcome of the puzzle, Steam Gears offers beautifully rendered graphics in a steampunk themed world.
Greenville, North Carolina - Steam Gears is a beautifully rendered, steampunk styled strategy puzzle, created for iPhone and iPad users. Steam Gears gives the user 50 demanding levels where every move has a consequence. As the player completes each task within the level, gears and other mechanisms combine to become working machines. The player is challenged to complete each puzzle in the least number of moves, to both beat the set score, as well as their own previous score.
Steam Gears is composed of tiles on a grid. Each tile represents one piece of a four piece machine. In each level there are four machines that must be completed to finish the level. The player slides each piece through a maze of other tiles to eventually place the tile in the correct position on the board. The game play is similar to a fifteen-puzzle but is definitely more fun to play due to the variation in difficulty and placement of tiles on the board.
The game begins with a jabberwocky of poetic verse, then moves on to a few simple instructions and finally begins the puzzle portion with a short story of what the machine represents.
"Twas axle rig, and the gunny doves Did wire and goggle in the lave; All smokey were the airflow groves, And the chrome wrath flout and wave."
The sky conurbation is in peril of falling into the darness below the clouds. The �Eureka Machine� is in need of repair. Unfortunately, our steamgeneer was lost in an airship attack. You must figure out how to reassemble the parts and restore the populous to its heights above the clouds.

iDatabase for Mac can be synchronized via Wi-Fi with iDatatabase for iPhone (sold separately). The app supports Backup and Restore, Exporting and Importing of databases in .idatabase and .CSV formats. The .idatabase files preserve the complete content and structure of the database, including pictures and they can also be used by iPhone version of iDatabase.
The type of field you can create for your data are: Small Text, Large Text, Number, Date, Time, Date and Time, Image, Item Picker, Password, Checkbox, Web Link, Email and Calculation. You can also use a special field type named Separator Field, to divide a record into distinct visual parts.

True NightVision is a fun realtime light-enhancing camera app designed for low light and night-time use. It uses the iPhone's camera and advanced light amplification techniques to deliver images even when the iPhone's native camera app sees nothing but black. The screenshots are real examples of the app's capabilities: the same photo was taken with the iPhone's built-in camera app and with True NightVision under identical conditions.
Version 2.0 takes this concept to the next level by combining powerful image enhancement techniques with the huge light gathering capacity of long exposure photography. When used with the high quality camera in the iPhone 4S the results can be quite astonishing!
New to the app are 4 enhancement modes:
* Speed: combines powerful image enhancement with fast 30fps video for action use
* High: balances speed and quality for a brighter image
* Still: good for stationary use, uses longer exposure times to seriously increase image intensity in low light
* Max: combines long exposure with enhancement - it needs a steady hand or solid surface, but delivers amazing night-time images
The app processes images in realtime for an interactive live view, and does this in HD (except on 3GS) for an exceptionally crisp view. It includes a zoom feature (up to 8x on 4/4S, 4x on 3GS), adjustable image enhancement levels, and a range of fun filters and effects such as thermal image, monochrome and false color. There is of course a 'binoculars' mode for authenticity!
