Lumo's Cat is a single-player Real Time Defence game for MOBA playing, cat-lovers on the move. Lumo's Cat blurs the boundaries between the RTS and Tower Defence genres. The game simulates what takes place inside your cat's dreams - and your cat is under attack! Hordes of raucous mice are sweeping in from every direction, each trying to awaken your sleeping cat. Your job is to deploy the Cat Defence Squad to fight off the mice and keep the cat asleep.
As in real life, the food your cat eats before bed affects the dreams it has. In Lumo's Cat, players can modify the difficulty of each game to suit their skill or mood by feeding the cat different food before it goes to sleep.
Each level successfully completed adds a new pattern to the ever lengthening Cat Blanket - with the design entirely dependent on the food you just fed the cat. This gives each player a completely unique blanket that reflects their individual game experience and personal artistic taste! Players can share their blanket design with friends, and see what they have created!

Coeur d'Alene, Idaho - DEVONtechnologies, LLC today updates all editions of its intelligent information and document manager DEVONthink as well as the smart notebook DEVONnote. DEVONthink 2.8.5 natively indexes unprotected e-books and Textbundle files. Users can search for e-books using DEVONthink's advanced search or convert them to plain text. Only for displaying their content a third-party Quick Look plugin might be necessary.
The enhanced scanner support now allows users to scan all front and all back pages separately. Later both batches can be merged to a complete document with just one click. Merging arbitrary documents determines the best file format automatically. Unknown files are attached to a created RTF document. PDF annotations are easier to enter and layouted more consistently in version 2.8.5.
DEVONthink Pro Office allows to share documents even with Windows users. Its integrated web server lets them find and view documents or even add new ones. Version 2.8.5 improves performance and password protection. Links in Markdown documents and formatted notes are better handled, too.
All editions including DEVONnote 2.8.5 allow to build smart groups matching multiple tags. Finder tags are matched to existing labels by color when importing documents. Finally, multiple selected documents or groups can be exported as one template. Users can so even easier build their own project templates that create entire often-used group structures with a single click.
The updates to version 2.8.5 bring some more optimizations for OS X Yosemite and improve their performance and reliability, too.
"E-Books, either as PDFs or ePub, establish themselves more and more for technical literature. Starting with this new version DEVONthink indexes ePub and iBooks books natively and lets you convert them if you need to. Better annotations make working with PDFs more comfortable. And the faster and more secure web server lets you work better together with your coworkers stuck on Windows. The biggest new feature is the Direct Mode which speeds up working with large archives by making archive preparation and recompression obsolete.
The archive password manager helps you work with encrypted archives by collecting a list of archive passwords in your OS X keychain. These can be used automatically whenever you open encrypted archives. BetterZip 3 adds a password generator which suggests strong passwords whenever you need them.
When you open a file in an archive with the View command and edit it with an external editor, BetterZip will detect the changes and give you the option to update the archive.

BetterZip opens, extracts, and even creates AES-256 encrypted zip archives which are compatible with a wide variety of other archivers on all operating systems for secure data exchange, commercial and private alike. Furthermore, BetterZip can extract and create zip files larger than 2 GB as well as archives with these formats: tar, xz, gzip, bzip2, rar, xar, and 7-zip. More than thirty archive formats can be viewed and extracted, including various zip based Java archives (JAR files.)

Bernstein, Austria - MacItBetter today is pleased to announce the immediate availability of BetterZip 3 for OS X. BetterZip lets you peek inside archives without first extracting. Explore the contents of archives and preview files inside using a preview sidebar or even Quick Look. With BetterZip you can compress or extract files with drag-and-drop. Update, move, rename, and delete files inside archives as if you were working with normal folders.
The biggest new feature is the Direct Mode which speeds up working with large archives by making archive preparation and recompression obsolete.
The archive password manager helps you work with encrypted archives by collecting a list of archive passwords in your OS X keychain. These can be used automatically whenever you open encrypted archives. BetterZip 3 adds a password generator which suggests strong passwords whenever you need them.
When you open a file in an archive with the View command and edit it with an external editor, BetterZip will detect the changes and give you the option to update the archive.
Presets can store all the settings that can be applied to an archive, from the destination folder and archive format, to passwords and even a script to execute when the operation completed. After that you can use and reuse the presets with one click instead of choosing all the settings over and over again.
BetterZip's Favorites sidebar can collect all the archives on your disks in one place with fast filtering to find the right archive when you need it.
The popular BetterZip Quick Look Generator has now been integrated into the application. The Quick Look generator has always been and remains free to use for everyone, but there is one neat new feature that requires a BetterZip license: You can now click a file in the Quick Look panel, at which point command is handed over to BetterZip which extracts and displays the clicked file.
BetterZip opens, extracts, and even creates AES-256 encrypted zip archives which are compatible with a wide variety of other archivers on all operating systems for secure data exchange, commercial and private alike. Furthermore, BetterZip can extract and create zip files larger than 2 GB as well as archives with these formats: tar, xz, gzip, bzip2, rar, xar, and 7-zip. More than thirty archive formats can be viewed and extracted, including various zip based Java archives (JAR files.)
New in version 3 is support for winmail.dat files, Apple Disk Images (DMG), and ePub files. Another new addition to BetterZip 3 is the extensive AppleScript support which lets you build workflows using BetterZip's compression and extraction functions.
