Los Angeles CA/Boston MA - The Creative Pro User Group (CPUG) Network have announced that the inaugural Bay Area SuperMeetUp will take place on Friday, June 26, 2015 at the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose CA. Held in association with Future Media Concepts and the FCPX Creative Summit, the Bay Area SuperMeertUp will feature a keynote by Randy Ubillos, former Chief Architect of Final Cut Pro.

Ubillos recently retired from Apple after twenty years. In that time he was Chief Architect on a wide range of products such as Final Cut Pro, Final Cut Pro X, Aperture, iMovie '08 through '11 and iPhoto for iOS. In addition, Randy also created versions 1 through 4.2 of Adobe Premiere Pro.

"We are very honored to have Randy appear at the SuperMeetUp," says Daniel Berube, head of the Boston Creative Pro User Group and co-producer. "He fundamentally changed the way we all tell visual stories."

"He changed the world's Post Production industry. Entire industries have grown up around what he has created," continues Michael Horton, head of the Los Angeles Creative Pro User Group and co-producer. "He has had an amazing career and we are very grateful he has accepted our invitation."

In addition to Randy Ubillos, there will be presentations by Blackmagic Design, Adobe, Other World Computing and That Studio.

Doors will open at 5:00PM with the "SuperMeetUp Digital Showcase," featuring over a dozen software and hardware developers including Atomos, Boris FX, FCPWORKS, Flanders Scientific, HDDISK, Imagineer, LumaForge, Lumberjack Systems, Pond5, Sonnet, Telestream and others. Here, attendees can enjoy a few cocktails, network and party with industry peers, talk one on one with leading manufacturers and learn about the latest trends in collaborative editing workflows for postproduction and broadcast markets.

Presentations will begin at 7:00PM and continue until 11:00PM. Rounding out the evening will be the always wild and crazy "World Famous Raffle" where thousands of dollars worth of valuable prizes will be handed out to dozens of lucky winners.

What is a SuperMeetUp? A SuperMeetUp is simply smaller and more intimate than a SuperMeet. Seats are limited to only 350 people. Like a SuperMeet though, it provides the postproduction and broadcast community an opportunity to not only learn about latest technology trends, but to network and share industry news and opportunities in a social setting that is both educational, exciting and fun!

SuperMeetUp attendees are not required to register or attend the FCPX Creative Summit. SuperMeetUp attendees can also benefit from a 50% off single night discounted hotel rate at the 4.5 star rated Hotel Fairmont, just a 5 minute walk to the SuperMeetUp and FCPX Creative Summit.

Tickets are on sale now, online only, for the low price of $10.00 (USD) for General Admission and $7.00 for Students and Teachers. Attendees of the FCPX Creative Summit receive complimentary admission to the SuperMeetUp. It is expected this SuperMeetUp will sell out and its producers urge everyone to buy tickets early. For more information, including how to get the discount Hotel rate as well as purchase your SuperMeetUp ticket, go to the SuperMeet website.

The entire Doray family loves music. Every member of the family is going to play an exotic or rare instrument for you! Today, to help celebrate the end of the school year, the Dorays are going to perform two songs. Well, that was the idea anyway. But that was before the family cat got involved.

Paris, France - Do you know what a Rebec is? A Do? A Mirliton? Your kids might. A family of musicians in a story that is both amusing and educational, now available on the App Store. "The Doray Family" for iPad has been updated and made into a bilingual app (English and French). In this format, La Dentelliere Digital Publisher is targeting the international market as well as those learning French or English and a bilingual audience.

The entire Doray family loves music. Every member of the family is going to play an exotic or rare instrument for you! Today, to help celebrate the end of the school year, the Dorays are going to perform two songs. Well, that was the idea anyway. But that was before the family cat got involved.

"The Doray Family had been born from the magic of music and stayed with me. Often, it's a phrase, a word association, or even seemingly random syllables, that inspire my writing. They become my touchstone or the song that I can't get out of my head. For the Doray Family, when I started out, I had no idea where the story would take me. Pretty quickly, however, the idea of a family with names linked to the musical scale became the centerpiece. I also realized fairly soon in the process that I wanted each character to have an instrument related to one of the musical notes. This dual requirement opened up some doors while closing some others as I stayed within the confines of the musical theme. The rest just came out of my fingers as I typed," said the author, Juliette Dharmadhikari.

The story is written by Juliette Dharmadhikari, illustrated by Sophie Guerlais with a soundtrack by Alexis Collin. The French version is read by French actor and comedian Fred Testot. It was released in 2014 as two interactive ebooks, one in French and one in English. The current app is presented by La Dentelliere Digital Publisher in bilingual format and brings the two language versions together in one place. The English version was translated by Eve Lindemuth Bodeux.

Supported Languages:
* English and French

Device Requirements:
* Recommended age: 4+ years
* Compatible with iPad
* Requires iOS 7.0 or later
* 203 MB

Pricing and Availability:
The Doray Family 1.0 is $3.99 USD (or equivalent amount in other currencies) and available worldwide exclusively through the App Store in the Books category.
