Space Station Challenge now available on Apple TV - Published on 01/26/16

Texas based developer, Magnin & Associates has released Space Station Challenge 1.0, their new game title on Apple TV. Previously available on iOS and Android, Space Station Challenge is a 3d simulation of docking with the International Space Station and then performing five specific EVA missions. Ground control vocally guides players through the various maneuvers, as needed. The view of the earth from the International Space Station orbiting some 200 miles above is spectacular.
Farmers Branch, Texas - Magnin & Associates has announced its recent Space Station Challenge 1.0 (iOS and Android) is now also available on Apple TV. Space Station Challenge is a 3d simulation of docking with the International Space Station and then performing five specific EVA missions. Use the dual joystick interface to modify the orientation of the vehicle with one control, while using the other to carefully move closer to the space station dock. Use similar controls to control the jetpack on your space suit during EVA. Ground control vocally guides players through the various maneuvers, as needed. The view of the earth from the International Space Station orbiting some 200 miles above is spectacular. Optionally shares your accomplishments with Facebook, Twitter, Weibo, email, or instant messaging.
According to producer Ed Magnin, "Some of the most interesting games are those that let you do something you can't to in real life. Whose going to let an old game developer like me go the space station?"
The game was programmed by Willie Johnson, Jr, with graphics and level design by Travis Mueller. Matt Campana created the music, and the excellent audio effects.
Note: There are currently no direct links to the Apple TV App Store, nor any browsers, or email clients. Like the iPhone App Store, the Apple TV App Store is only viewable from an Apple TV. To quickly locate the game, just open the App Store on your Apple TV and search for either "Magnin" or "Space Station".

Independent developer, Alexey Khutorschikov announces Desqueeze 1.0.3, his new iPhone app that lets amateurs and professionals reformat and resize a batch of photos and videos using presets or custom size up to 8192 px and 4k respectively. Settings includes compression format, size in pixels, orientation detection options, resizing method, photo dpi and video bitrate. All processed photos and videos are automatically saved to app-specific albums and are available for sharing.
Minsk, Belarus - Independent developer, Alexey Khutorschikov is proud to announce the release of Desqueeze 1.0.3, his new iPhone app that lets amateurs and professionals reformat and resize a batch of photos and videos using presets or custom size up to 8192 px and 4k respectively. Desqueeze allows to select and resize photos and videos from any album in the photo library. It provides all settings as optional, and does not require configuration before each processing. Settings includes compression format, size in pixels, orientation detection options, resizing method, photo dpi and video bitrate. All processed photos and videos are automatically saved to app-specific albums and are available for sharing on results screen even after app reloads.
Author and developer, Alex said, "I don't like apps with limited functionality, like square or discrete resizing apps. They solve tasks partially or temporarily and force to spend extra time and money on a new app in any non-standard situation. I wanted to make an app without limitations... and I made it"
Pixel size in Desqueeze app can be set using presets or manual input in the range from 1 x 1 px to 8192 x 8192 px for photos and from 16 x 16 px to 3840 x 2160 px for videos. When auto width or auto height used total size is calculated during processing depending on original size. App uses direct or reverse size for each item based on its shape and orientation detection options. Resizing methods allows to vary result within the same size to better meet customer requirements. For example, Stretch method can resolve anamorphic de-squeeze with any aspect ratio.

Ricochet Theory 2 for iOS is here - Ricochet physics puzzles for all - Published on 01/26/16

Texas based Appdore, LLC today introduces Ricochet Theory 2, their newest minimalist physics game for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. In Ricochet Theory 2, players must draw to create platforms for the ball to reach its goal. Ricochet Theory 2 features over 200 engaging levels across two modes of play. The friendly easy mode will allow players to get adjusted to the game while hard mode is for those wanting to greatly increase their leaderboard score.
Richardson, Texas - Appdore, LLC today is proud to announce the release and immediate availability of Ricochet Theory 2, its latest physics puzzle game based off the ricocheting aspect of gameplay. This game features easy levels that is great for players of all ages, especially for those that enjoy these type of free puzzle games that has no limits or timers. There are over 100 easy mode levels that gradually increase in difficulty. And there is also a hard mode that has 100+ unlocked levels available for players that do not want any assistance. The hard levels are unlocked to give players the freedom to choose any level that they want to play instead of going the traditional linear route. Similar to Ricochet Theory 1, players will be rewarded with a PERFECT if they are able to solve a puzzle within two attempts.
As you progress through the levels, there will be new elements that will have you scratching your head. There are no timed levels in this game and there will be more challenging levels released later in the year based on the feedback received. Thankfully, Ricochet Theory 2 is still the same fun game as before without the annoying limitations of its predecessor. The touch related confusion are no more as the tap and double tapping gestures are now replaced with a single button that will control if the level is in a live mode or a paused mode. The ball is not active in pause mode, which will allow players to set up the scene with their platform drawings. When players are ready to test their ricochet theory, press play and watch! And to keep the game friendly, in easy mode players can continue to draw even when the level is in live mode however this is disabled in hard mode.

Developed originally for a major magazine publisher in the United States to free up their operator computers from outputting InDesign files, the software automates InDesign workflow by processing files from watched hot folders.
The new version adds support for new image export options during HTML output introduced in InDesign CC 2015. The first option is to copy the original images into the web images subfolder. The second option lets users enter a local URL (such as "images/") that appears in front of the image file. In the HTML code, the link attribute displays the path and extension the user specified. This option is especially effective when users convert images to web-compatible images themselves.

Under the Output Factory Server workflow, production artists, prepress operators and designers simply copy InDesign jobs to hot folders that reside on a network.
