How might I identify that folder on another disk (removable mass storage with USB connection)?

See Edit-Preferences-Advanced & check the "copy to iTunes" option.
You'll end up with two copies of everything unless you then delete from the
other spot. (there may be some things you may *want* in more than one
place.)
