Today, Flying Pig announces a new minor update of its small and medium businesses management solution, Edouard 1.5. Edouard Server is updated to version 1.5 as well and brings along with Edouard a new network layer, a new backbone structure for inventory-related features including the mobile app Edouard Warehouse, new demo feature using Edouard Server app to keep demo data in licensed environment, cloud server availibility and many other improvements/bug fixes.
Cupertino, California - Flying Pig today is proud to announce a new minor update of its small and medium businesses management solution, Edouard 1.5. Edouard Server is updated to version 1.5 as well and brings along with Edouard a new network layer, a new backbone structure for inventory-related features including the mobile app Edouard Warehouse, new demo feature using Edouard Server app to keep demo data in licensed environment, cloud server availibility and many other improvements/bug fixes.
With this update, Inventories system, for quarterly or annualy inventory inspections, loads only products actually present in the inventory, and giving the user flexibility to add/delete/edit products. The label printable with Edouard Warehouse 1.5 can be designed and visualized. Locations are now searchable and drag-n-drop-able. Upon drop, the system analyzes the intention of the user and offers either a move or a merge of data, making it extremely easy and safe to clean up your locations data, without loosing any addresses in your contacts.
Bank account lines get a new type - info - which is ignored in calculations and bank recon. It offers details in your statements to understand money movements. The clients and providers accounting section have a new auto-match feature which detects automatically orders and assigns payment automatically, making the reconciliation process faster and easier.
A new statistics reports named 'Clients who purchased a given product' shows customers who bought either a specific product or products within a family in a given time bracket. The POS revenues and Product Sales reports receives improvements in the form of respectively, day-to-day details and packaging information. The POS Admin now offers a new key for the receipt template design to display payment details. Edouard Server now shows detailed information about connected clients and the possibility to disconnect them at anytime. And as with any updates, many bug fixes across all features.

Krashlander - Ski, Jump, Crash! - Major Update to 2D Physics Ski Game - Published on 04/01/14

Farseer Games today announces Krashlander - Ski, Jump, Crash! 1.3 for iOS, a major update to their 2D platform-style, physics-powered ski game. Evil robots have destroyed the world and the player must ski down large mountain slopes and soar over gaping crevices to attack the robots and exact revenge. Krashlander has 3 different skill levels. Version 1.3 also features a simpler scoring system, 40 progressively more difficult levels, and the ability to record, play back, and share gameplay videos.
Appleton, Wisconsin - Farseer Games today is proud to announce the release and availability of Krashlander - Ski, Jump, Crash! for iOS, a major update to their 2D, platform-style, physics-powered ski game. Evil robots have destroyed the world and the player must ski down large mountain slopes and soar over gaping crevices to attack the robots and exact revenge. Utilizing a physics driven control mechanic from an abandoned game called Ski Stunt Simulator, Krashlander challenges players to destroy robots by crashing into them. It is a skill-based game with 40 progressively more challenging levels.
To navigate the game, the player uses a touch surface on the right side of the screen to control the physical posture of the skier. Adjusting the posture will help the skier avoid obstacles, increase speed, or jump off cliffs to take out the robots. Some levels may require multiple runs to destroy the target.
"The great thing about Krashlander is you can play each level a little differently," says Phil Eaves of SlidetoPlay (20 Feb 2013). "You can do flips off of cliffs if you want, or you can play it safe. It's a game that makes you feel cool when you pull off all the right moves."

Krashlander has 3 different skill levels: Novice, Expert, and Elite. Each skill level has its own set of features and earns a different amount of points per robot killed. For Novice, the player has tighter control over in-air rotation and it is easier to stick a landing. However, there is a slight loss of realism and players earn only 1 point per robot killed.
The Expert skill level features the exact control mechanic from Version 1.0 for those players who prefer it. There is a steeper learning curve and it requires more subtle control over in-air rotation, but the Expert level is more realistic. Players can earn 2 points per robot killed at the Expert level.
The Elite level is the most realistic and challenging of the skill levels. There are no external rotation torques to help adjust rotation in the air. Just like real life, the player must impart some spin on take-off and crouch or extend to speed up and slow down the rotation. There is a very steep learning curve but players earn 3 points per robot killed.
"What impresses me the most, however, is the sound design," says Game Mob (1 Feb 2013). "From the sound of the wind buzzing past you as you speed downhill, to the introductory music, everything makes you feel alone and isolated. Jeff Weber has done an incredible job. It's a testament to indie gaming that someone can create such a polished piece of work entirely by himself. Krashlander is challenging, gorgeous, and will test your mind and reflexes."
Another feature of the updated Krashlander is a more simplified scoring system. Each level has 3 robots and the player must destroy at least 2 robots to unlock the next level. Players earn points and a star for every robot they destroy. Since each skill level now has a score multiplier, the higher skill level the users plays, the greater their overall game score can be.
To create a more interactive experience, Krashlander users now have the ability to record, play back, and post their crash videos via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and E-mail. Version 1.3 also features a new in-game tutorial system to ease the player into the unique control mechanic.
"Much has changed since Krashlander's initial release back in 2013," says Jeff Weber, owner of Farseer Games. "For the past year, I've focused on improving Krashlander and addressing concerns and issues brought to my attention during the initial release. As a result, Krashlander is an even greater, more challenging physics-powered game for players to enjoy."

Farseer Games today announces Krashlander - Ski, Jump, Crash! 1.3 for iOS, a major update to their 2D platform-style, physics-powered ski game. Evil robots have destroyed the world and the player must ski down large mountain slopes and soar over gaping crevices to attack the robots and exact revenge. Krashlander has 3 different skill levels. Version 1.3 also features a simpler scoring system, 40 progressively more difficult levels, and the ability to record, play back, and share gameplay videos.
Appleton, Wisconsin - Farseer Games today is proud to announce the release and availability of Krashlander - Ski, Jump, Crash! for iOS, a major update to their 2D, platform-style, physics-powered ski game. Evil robots have destroyed the world and the player must ski down large mountain slopes and soar over gaping crevices to attack the robots and exact revenge. Utilizing a physics driven control mechanic from an abandoned game called Ski Stunt Simulator, Krashlander challenges players to destroy robots by crashing into them. It is a skill-based game with 40 progressively more challenging levels.
To navigate the game, the player uses a touch surface on the right side of the screen to control the physical posture of the skier. Adjusting the posture will help the skier avoid obstacles, increase speed, or jump off cliffs to take out the robots. Some levels may require multiple runs to destroy the target.
"The great thing about Krashlander is you can play each level a little differently," says Phil Eaves of SlidetoPlay (20 Feb 2013). "You can do flips off of cliffs if you want, or you can play it safe. It's a game that makes you feel cool when you pull off all the right moves."

Krashlander has 3 different skill levels: Novice, Expert, and Elite. Each skill level has its own set of features and earns a different amount of points per robot killed. For Novice, the player has tighter control over in-air rotation and it is easier to stick a landing. However, there is a slight loss of realism and players earn only 1 point per robot killed.
The Expert skill level features the exact control mechanic from Version 1.0 for those players who prefer it. There is a steeper learning curve and it requires more subtle control over in-air rotation, but the Expert level is more realistic. Players can earn 2 points per robot killed at the Expert level.
The Elite level is the most realistic and challenging of the skill levels. There are no external rotation torques to help adjust rotation in the air. Just like real life, the player must impart some spin on take-off and crouch or extend to speed up and slow down the rotation. There is a very steep learning curve but players earn 3 points per robot killed.
"What impresses me the most, however, is the sound design," says Game Mob (1 Feb 2013). "From the sound of the wind buzzing past you as you speed downhill, to the introductory music, everything makes you feel alone and isolated. Jeff Weber has done an incredible job. It's a testament to indie gaming that someone can create such a polished piece of work entirely by himself. Krashlander is challenging, gorgeous, and will test your mind and reflexes."
Another feature of the updated Krashlander is a more simplified scoring system. Each level has 3 robots and the player must destroy at least 2 robots to unlock the next level. Players earn points and a star for every robot they destroy. Since each skill level now has a score multiplier, the higher skill level the users plays, the greater their overall game score can be.
To create a more interactive experience, Krashlander users now have the ability to record, play back, and post their crash videos via Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, and E-mail. Version 1.3 also features a new in-game tutorial system to ease the player into the unique control mechanic.
"Much has changed since Krashlander's initial release back in 2013," says Jeff Weber, owner of Farseer Games. "For the past year, I've focused on improving Krashlander and addressing concerns and issues brought to my attention during the initial release. As a result, Krashlander is an even greater, more challenging physics-powered game for players to enjoy."

However, there is a better way to seek semblance. TaoMix bySebastian Mourey is a neat iOS app that brings together a euphoric mix of sounds to your iPhone or iPad.
Wordistic (4.7/5): When players think of word games, yawns usually begin to crawl, slowly from the back of throats and make their way forward. Well, Wordistic puts all other word games to shame, featuring fast-paced, arcade-like gaming that puts letters front and center of the action. Developed by mushDevStudio, this game has you racing against the clock to build a real word as letters fall from the sky.
GeoSonic (4.5/5): If you are looking for a new music experience that combines geometric shapes floating or moving through space to bring an ethereal experience to your meditation or yoga sessions, GeoSonic is just the app. Download from the App Store and play around with this neat app that renders sounds of solfeggio with colorful mandala-based images whose shapes are inspired by hypotrichoids and epitrochoids.
Super Crush HD (4.3/5): Complete with the music from your local ice-cream truck, Sugar Crush HD - A Candy Saga adds a sweet twist to a traditional computer game. The game is kind of like an old time "match the cards" game but here, you're matching candy pieces! Candies will fall onto your screen, you have to move them around and match them up.

BulletProof is a complete footage prep solution with a workflow that simplifies how you handle footage every day. In addition to the existing support for Canon and Nikon DSLRs and GoPro cameras, BulletProof now includes support for Panasonic and Sony DSLRs, and for the Canon C-series and XF-series cameras.

Bruce Sharpe, Shooter Suite business unit manager said, "Last year at NAB, we released BulletProof - a product that we knew had the potential to become an essential tool for shooters. This year, we've updated it to support the AVCHD and Canon XF format, two formats that are a mainstay of the industry."
In addition to the existing support for Canon and Nikon DSLRs and GoPro cameras, BulletProof now includes support for Panasonic and Sony DSLRs, and for the Canon C-series and XF-series cameras.
BulletProof is designed to solve several challenges that, since the DSLR revolution, have plagued shooters, both on set and right before post-production. One of those challenges is the issue of reliable backup.
"Shooters work under extreme time pressure while on set," said Randon Morford, Shooter Suite product manager. "Reliable file backup is often considered a luxury. At best, most shooters simply copy their footage to a hard drive, blazing on with their shoot and hoping for the best. Too often, however, the data is corrupt and doesn't make it to the timeline. We designed BulletProof to make sure that never happens."
BulletProof, which boasts robust automated backup and verification tools, allows shooters to do what they are already doing, but with confidence. Once the camera card is in the card reader, BulletProof creates copies of your footage and verifies them to ensure a perfect duplication. In addition, while the footage is being backed up, the shooter can use BulletProof's GPU-accelerated playback tools to review the footage and make sure they got the shots they need.
Also new to BulletProof is a highly requested feature called "Add Mode" - a reference mode that speeds up the import process by cataloging media that has already been copied to disk.
While BulletProof's features start with backup and review of footage on set, it also addresses the next area of pain in the shooter's process - preparing the footage and notes for post-production. BulletProof includes powerful tools for tagging, adding metadata, notes, in-and-out points, and even suggested color correction to the footage - all to help bring the shooter's intention over to the timeline. These features can be used right on set or once the shooter gets back to the edit suite.
In addition, BulletProof is now integrated with PluralEyes, Red Giant's hugely popular automated audio/video sync tool. One of the editing industry's most popular tools, PluralEyes literally saves hours or days of audio/video syncing work, with the touch of a button. BulletProof now makes the process even more fluid by sending the footage over to PluralEyes in an organized way, so that you can sync your footage immediately. Once synced, PluralEyes sends the footage directly to the editing timeline, ready for editing.
"Since PluralEyes allows the shooter to work more freely on set by not having to worry about timecode or clapboards," said Sharpe, who also created the app, "it seemed like a natural progression to have our footage backup and prep tool integrated with the next tool in the production chain."
