Chocolate Lab Apps Launches Kids App Business Tech Scholarship Program - Published on 04/24/14

Chocolate Lab Apps today announces their new scholarship program for kids. The Chocolate Lab Youth Scholarship Program's goal is to change the lives and opportunities of young people around the world, by allowing them access to cutting edge education on mobile apps, business and online marketing. Kids get started in the app business for free. For every online app course bought, the company will donate one free app course to a young student somewhere in the world.
Dublin, Ireland - Getting access to mobile technology education is something that is still a major issue in most countries in the world - whether it's a local school in Texas or a rural school in South America. For young students around the world, getting access to practical information on how to publish an app, learning about app store optimization and app marketing, is something that is not very accessible.
Elaine Heney from Chocolate Lab Apps is one example of how someone with drive & passion can start a tech business and succeed - outside the geographic restrictions of Palo Alto and without a technical background.
"Not everyone lives in Silicon Valley. I've build a very profitable app publishing business from Ireland. I don't do any of the coding myself. One of the main issues I found is that practical proven advice on starting an app business is very difficult to find on the internet."
To remedy this situation, Heney now teaches app entrepreneurship the Chocolate Lab Mobile App University, but wanted to take it one step further.
"I wanted to create a program so kids - anywhere in the world - could get started in the app business for free" says Heney. "I strongly believe that 'CEO' is just as valid a career choice for young people as becoming a doctor, mechanic or bartender. And I wanted to bring them the information they need to make this a reality."
Today, her company Chocolate Lab Apps has announced a new scholarship program for kids. For every online app course bought, Heney will donate one free app course to a young student somewhere in the world - from Eastern Europe to Peru & beyond. By 2015 she aims to donate online app courses to young students in every county in the world.
"My goal is to donate app business courses to every country in the world by 2015. I want to help as many students as possible improve their technology and mobile app skills & create a better future for them & their families".

Because DriveDx tracks more indicators of impending failure than any other product on the market, users will get advanced warning before their drives fail. This will allow them to take action to avert the failure, and save themselves from resulting data loss and downtime.
Unlike many other drive health diagnostics utilities that simply check built-in S.M.A.R.T. status, DriveDx performs overall drive health diagnostics using drive health indicators (like SSD wear out / endurance, reallocated bad sectors, offline bad sectors, pending sectors, I/O errors, and more) that most closely correlate with drive failures according to the statistics reported in the latest researches focused on identifying drive failure trends. This gives a user a comprehensive picture of a current drive health status and enables foreseeing potential problems with drive failure and loss of sensitive data. Moreover, DriveDx shows this information on a user-friendly Mac-style interface in an easy-to-understand format.

DriveDx is a combined drive health analysis and forecasting tool. It monitors and analyzes changes to S.M.A.R.T. attributes in order to continuously evaluate drive health status and predict drive failures. In addition to "Failed" and "OK" drive statutes DriveDx supports "Warning" and "Failing" statuses indicating that a drive is in a pre-failure status and backup of sensitive data is highly recommended.
DriveDx performs both SSD and HDD health diagnostics. Moreover, it uses a separate set of indicators for SSD and HDD to monitor drive health status. This is particularly important as SSD works different from HDD, and requires a different algorithm to check its health status. Also, SDDs typically are more dependent on firmware than HDDs, and DriveDx has been programmed to support many versions of firmware (please see our website for a complete list of supported firmware).
DriveDx allows configuring the delivery of customized drive status reports by e-mail and therefore does not require user presence to inform about drive status changes. Unlike many other drive health diagnostics utilities that simply check built-in S.M.A.R.T. status, DriveDx performs overall drive health diagnostics using drive health indicators (like SSD wear out / endurance, reallocated bad sectors, offline bad sectors, pending sectors, I/O errors, and more) that most closely correlate with drive failures according to the statistics reported in the latest researches focused on identifying drive failure trends. This gives a user a comprehensive picture of a current drive health status and enables foreseeing potential problems with drive failure and loss of sensitive data. Moreover, DriveDx shows this information on a user-friendly Mac-style interface in an easy-to-understand format.

DriveDx is a combined drive health analysis and forecasting tool. It monitors and analyzes changes to S.M.A.R.T. attributes in order to continuously evaluate drive health status and predict drive failures. In addition to "Failed" and "OK" drive statutes DriveDx supports "Warning" and "Failing" statuses indicating that a drive is in a pre-failure status and backup of sensitive data is highly recommended.
DriveDx performs both SSD and HDD health diagnostics. Moreover, it uses a separate set of indicators for SSD and HDD to monitor drive health status. This is particularly important as SSD works different from HDD, and requires a different algorithm to check its health status. Also, SDDs typically are more dependent on firmware than HDDs, and DriveDx has been programmed to support many versions of firmware (please see our website for a complete list of supported firmware).

You couldn't be more wrong, though. Flirty Birdys is, in fact, a quirky and colourful tower defense title in which you take on the role of a digital matchmaker. Basically, your aim is to manipulate male birds into falling in love with their female counterparts. In each level of the game, you have to - much like in any other tower defence title - strategically place towers (female birds, in this case) along a winding park pathway in order to successfully distract the male fowls that wander down it. You earn points every time one of your feathered towers leads one of your targets astray with their hearts and kisses. Let too many birdies enter the tunnel at the end of the pathway, however, and it's Game Over.
According to its developer, Virtual Jungle, Flirty Birdys offers much more than the average bird games that have been released on the App Store and Google Play over the past few years. In fact, Virtual Jungle calls Flirty Birdys an animated reproduction of the everyday human love life,and, just like in real life, you can and will be left heartbroken if you're unlucky (and you fail to stop the male birds making their escape).
Each female bird in the game is different. Some have higher point values than others, for example, and some are capable of firing hearts faster or further than the rest of their besotted brethren. Levels become harder and harder to master as you progress through Flirty Birdys. You'll encounter more difficult path configurations that leave you with fewer areas to place your female love magnets, and faster male birds that will race towards each level's exit tunnel and require you to think fast on your feet.
Developer Virtual Jungle is incredibly proud of the authentic graphic design, soundtrack, and gameplay that it's managed to package into Flirty Birdys. The guys at Virtual Jungle design all of their games to be products that they themselves enjoy playing, and Flirty Birdys is no exception. Virtual Jungle plans to update Flirty Birdys with fresh content periodically over the next few months and beyond. New levels, new characters, and even new gameplay have already been talked about, but the developer will also make adjustments to the game based on your recommendations and feedback.

Montessori Math Multiplication is designed by teachers for children and follows them, step by step using the 3 Elles' Dynamic Progression Algorithm for adaptive learning. The stamp game and the bead frame offer one more level of abstraction each and leads children towards multiplying in columns.
