IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Independent developer, Alessandro Ferrazza recently released his challenging and imaginative mobile app, The Dot - a logic game. However this is no ordinary logic game of random puzzles. The Dot is composed of 96 levels of increasing difficulty. Each level is unique, with no repeating schemes. Players won't encounter puzzles or storylines like these in any another logic game, giving players of this app the challenge of a lifetime.
Rome, Italy - Independent developer, Alessandro Ferrazza, is pleased to release his challenging and imaginative mobile app, The Dot - a logic game. However this is no ordinary logic game of random puzzles. The Dot takes players on an exciting journey, beginning with a tale of how the Dot came to be. On a stormy night, a designer is working in his studio when an alien spaceship attempts to abduct him. When lightning strikes however, the abduction is compromised and the designer is stuck in a ball of energy with his pencil. Seconds later the ball of energy collapses and disappears with the designer, letting the pencil drop onto the paper below. The drawings on the paper erase, leaving only a small black dot. Do players have what it takes to wield the dot's energy and power?
The Dot is composed of 96 levels of increasing difficulty. Each level is unique, with no repeating schemes. Players won't encounter puzzles or storylines like these in any another logic game, giving players of this app the challenge of a lifetime. As they embark on the journey with the Dot, players will encounter a rich variety of objects and obstacles. They'll meet treadmills, rotating cubes, and lasers, varying ink colors that grant special powers, bizarre cars and helicopters. Before they can move onto the next level however, players must complete the puzzle presented to them.
"I wanted to create a game that would test a player's thinking but in a way that was engaging and unique," explains Alessandro Ferrazza. "While each level is different, they're always connected by the powerful dot."
In addition to the imaginative story and complex challenges, the app features amazing 3D graphics. Players appear to be playing on paper that changes from level to level. One level a player may be playing on graph paper then the next they'll be on lined notebook paper. The objects and obstacles in the game appear to be hand drawn but extremely well-rendered, making for a unique and visually appealing game experience.
While each level increases in complexity, the controls of the game are simple. Players simply have to touch the screen or rotate their mobile device to move the Dot through the level. Players are also able to see how others are doing with the statistics tab, which allows players to compare the level they've reached to others, adding the extra thrill of competition. Are players among the many stuck at the beginning levels? Or are players among the few who can reach the very end?
With an abundant amount of levels and complex puzzles, The Dot is a game made for people unafraid of challenge. The question is: can they harness the Dot's power and make it through all 96 levels?
Features:
* 96 Levels of increasing difficulty
* Statistics tab lets you compare the level you reached to others
* Amazing 3D graphics
* Easy commands: touch screen and rotate device
Device Requirements
* iPhone 4 or later, iPad, and iPod touch
* iOS requirement: 6.0 or later
* 172 MB
* Language: English, Italian

Alessandro Ferrazza is a physician specialized in Internal Medicine. His passion for computers started few years ago when he created his first website and freely distributed some medicine guides. Subsequently, he fell in love with real programming, particularly in the mobile field which led me to create two medical applications. The first one was Emergency drugs, only for iPhone and iPod, pretty simple. It contains tabs of the most common drugs used in emergency and by entering weight and route of administration it gives back dosages and information about infusion. The other application, Graphic Blood Gas Analysis, helps in interpreting blood gas analysis. Finally he switched to 3D graphics (Open GE ES 2.0) with a game based on simulation of physics. It took him about two years of study and work to get the final product (The Dot), but he feels quite satisfied of the final product. All Rights Reserved. New York, New York - Illustrator and creator Emmanuel Paletz has released his ambitious and artistically creative mobile app project, The Alice App. Paletz brings users on a visual and engaging journey of Lewis Carroll's whimsical Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. While Lewis Carroll's tale has been told many times before, it has never been presented in such a beautiful and interactive way. Emmanuel Paletz's illustrations have incredible detail, subtle imagery, and historical influence disguised by the whimsy of a children's storybook. It's a mash-up of Lewis Carroll and an elegant art history class.
The application is an art book, a conceptual book, and an educational book all in one, so it has something for everyone. The art enthusiast will appreciate the nods toward Flemish and Dutch Renaissance art in Paletz collages. Children and their parents will love the interactive features, combined animations, and sound effects that bring Carroll's tale to life. Not to mention they will find themselves on a journey of history and art.
Lewis Carroll's wonderful story works on many levels, from children's tale to a deeply political treatise," said Paletz. "I created this app to share the joys and delights of this classic story in ways that many readers have never before considered, bringing the story to life for children and adults alike."
Paletz's collages are pulled together from pieces by Jan van Eyck, Joachim Patinir, Leonardo da Vinci, Hans Holbein, Sandro Botticelli, Pieter Brueghel the Elder, Hieronymus Bosch, Quentin Matsys and more. Images like Quentin Matsys' satirical portrait "The Ugly Duchess" were a touchstone for The Alice App. With so many influences, users will find something new every time they go Paletz's visual journey. His illustrations also reflect the nature of Lewis Carroll's Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. Paletz has included in his artwork riddles, puzzles, illogical delightfulness, and brainteasers for users to discover and make sense of. His conceptual work has brought Alice to life.

iPhone configuration utility (iPCU) an App for iOS provisioning - Published on 04/29/14
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Pinux Studio today announces iPCU 2.9.3, its professional level iPhone Configuration Utility. iPCU is a swiss knife app for network administrators or IT professionals. The app lets you easily configure your or clients iOS devices to work with your enterprise system, or switch on features that aren't enabled by default or configurable on device. Developers can distribute as a local install, via email, the Web via FTP with SMS notification as well as Dropbox with SMS notification.
Stockholm, Sweden - Pinux Studio today is proud the announce the release of iPCU 2.9.3, its professional level iPhone Configuration Utility. iPCU is the only App that can provision iOS devices. Apple has developed its own official program on Windows and Mac but never launched an iOS version of this software. The reason behind it is probably they never thought there is such a use-case that people would use iOS provision others' devices. The author of this App carefully studied how the original Mac version of iPCU works and reverse engineered most the functionality and finally build it into an iOS app.
Why iPCU is useful:
iPCU is a swiss knife app for network administrators or IT professionals. Why? Think of the following three use cases.
Use case I: Network administrators might receive an emergency phone call from a VP who is travelling to another time zone attempting to reach your headquarters network via VPN tunnel without a success. It is 2 am at your time and do you really want to get up from your cozy bed helping him out in front of your computer? Of course not. Just pick up your iPhone or iPad. Preconfigure a provisioning profile in iPCU and send out an Email. Problem solved.
Use case II: From time to time, new employees will come and ask a network admin over and over again "how to configure our corporate VPN" or "my Email account doesn't work", simply pre-config the profile in iPCU with an "allstaff" Email sent out to your fellow co-workers. Problem solved! Besides, Less human errors are made while you can pre-configure the corporate VPN connection or Email account and send the working (proven) profile to your co-workers or friends.
Use case III: Your wife works as a school teacher and she recently got a new iPhone from her school. Unfortunately she doesn't know how to setup her iPhone to work with Microsoft exchange server. She is reaching out to you, the beloved husband who knows everything about technology. With a few taps in iPCU, the provisioning profile is uploaded on to your dropbox. Send her the link of this profile. She can now download the profile and install it. After that, you will hear exciting voice from the other side of your telephone.
What settings can iPCU configure:
* EAP-SIM enabled WiFi hotspot
