Announcing The Release Of Top Vs Bottom The New Party Game For Students - Published on 05/16/14

New app Top vs. Bottom seeks to join the ranks of Heads Up! as a must-have, mobile party game. Developed by a team of Harvard Business School students, Top vs. Bottom is a comical, debate-based game intended specifically for university students and young adults. Each selected player must argue in favor of whichever term they have been assigned, regardless of personal preference. Topics range from the cleanest of clean to naughty. The first player to win 5 rounds is victorious!
Cupertino, California - Top vs. Bottom hit the Apple App Store last week. This cheeky new game engages participants in comical debates for hours of entertainment and enjoyment. Developed by a team of Harvard Business School students seeking to offer an alternative to Heads Up! and Cards Against Humanity, Top vs. Bottom will offer answers to some of society's age-old questions:
* Window seat or Aisle seat?
* Oscar the Grouch or Big Bird?
* Fashion models or Excel models?
* Clothes-wearing society or Nudist colony?
The game is played on a single mobile device, with up to eight participants. In each round of play, the game will randomly select two persons to face-off on a hilarious pairing of topics. Each selected player must argue in favor of whichever term they have been assigned, regardless of personal preference. The debate is passed back and forth between the two selected players, until time runs out. At the end of the round, the audience of non-selected players chooses the winner. The first player to win 5 rounds is victorious! Topics range from the cleanest of clean to make-sure-your-mother-isn't-around naughty.
Developed over the course of several months, the team is confident that this game has wide and proven appeal. "We have now played with a large number of college students in the Boston area and we think there is real demand for a product like Top vs. Bottom. Support from avid gamers and fellow game developers at the Boston Games Forum has also been very encouraging," said Fred Spring, one of the team members behind Top vs. Bottom.
As of now, the app remains in trial mode and is currently available only for iOS. Other operating systems will be covered in future releases. Future releases will also include thematic expansion packs as well as certain exciting social features that will allow dedicated players not only to debate for hours but also propose, rank, and share pairings.

BoomKLAKers creator Rosa Mei, a professional American choreographer and martial artist currently based in Europe, came up with the concept of BoomKLAKers when trying to entertain her baby twins. "My babies grew up watching dance and martial arts, listening to beatboxers and rappers practicing in our studios. They love movement and music. It engages them and makes them so happy. They bounce and do mock head banging to the beats. Before my little girl could say mama, she said "Boom KA!" and would start dancing." Mei says she was inspired to create an app for kids that would give toddlers all over the world a similar kid of joy.
She decided to collaborate with Teddy Guilbaud, a beatboxer,percussionist,jazz musician and champion slam artist from France. Rosa and Teddy have collaborated for 10 years through Cie 13, an experimental dance troupe based in Antwerpen, Belgium. Originally from Nantes, Teddy's influences include Thelonius Monk, Charlie Parker and Aphex Twins, among others. Together they decided to create an app for toddlers with a whole different feel, something funky, radical, cool and utterly engaging for tots.

Edinburgh, United Kingdom - Imaginate Games is proud to announce that Purgatory Mountain is now available from the App Store on iPhone, iPad and iPod touch. Purgatory Mountain is a fast paced action arcade game where players must help the Hells Angels collect up the souls of the dead. Demons of different sizes complicate matters by attacking the Angels attempting to drag them to Hell. Players can highlight their skill through Facebook integration and game leaderboards.
In Purgatory Mountain players control one of five Hells Angels. Their mission is to save the souls of the dead from falling to Hell. However, their work is hindered by numerous mischievous Demons of all shapes and sizes intent on dragging them to Hell. Souls present themselves as small orbs with wings fashioned on different professionals such as lawyers, doctors and construction workers all deserved of a place in Heaven. The player must collect these as quickly as possible.
Other challenges must also be faced in the form of firestorms, earthquakes and increasingly hostile demon attack formations. Special spells are available to the player to help in these situations. As the player collects wings these act as in game currency to purchase:
* Stop Firestorms - Stop Firestorm thats underway
* Stop Earthquakes - Stop Earthquake thats underway
* Thunder - Blast Demons with lightning
* Slow Motion - Slow Demons to escape
* Stone - Block the Demons path
* Lava - Wash away tough Demons
* Ghost - Demons can't see you
