It provides users a platform to manage their fuel consumption and to balance the goal between cost saving & emission reduction. E85Tracker automatically locates the user's current location and calculates the distance from each E85 station. The app allows the data to be exported and sent by e-mail directly from one's device either as a .CSV file or as a PDF file for statistics.
Chicago, Illinois - Independent developer, Chenguang Wang is pleased to announce E85Tracker, an app designed for flexible fuel vehicle drivers. It provides users a platform to manage their fuel consumption and to balance the goal between cost saving and emission reduction.
After a user signs in, the E85Tracker automatically locates the user's current location, maps the nearest E85 stations, and calculate the distance from each E85 station. Alternatively, user can also search nearby gas stations using E85Tracker.
For each vehicle, user can input fill-up information such as E85 and gas prices at the chosen station, and keep track of the key fuel consumption parameters in different ways (overview, graphs or lists):
* E85 vs gas costs (in terms of $/mile)
* E85 vs gas emissions (in terms of CO2 lbs/mile)
These parameters are more informative than price/gallon and MPG (miles/gallon) in fuel choice decision making. E85Tracker also allows all this data to be exported and sent by e-mail directly from user's device either as a .CSV file (comma separated values, which can be opened and processed by Excel or any other spreadsheet program) or as a .PDF file, so that user can generate his/her own personalized statistics.

Useful for developing creative and artistic skills, users can import more than 500 stencils in 10 different categories to create scenes, stories, and even greeting cards. These stencils can then be colored with a choice of 74 different colors. Stencils can also be moved, rotated, scaled, and flipped.

Zombie Byte! is a new re-imagining of video game culture that appeals to new and old school gamers alike through its homages to current and past video game history. Centered around a boy named Miles, players will partake in a story driven experience filled with triumph, deception, and plot twists as they uncover the true connection between Miles and the zombie video game outbreak.
Miles is a lovable, witty, smart, and adept 13 year old boy with a deep passion for all things video game. An avid gamer and collector, Miles has amassed the worlds largest video game collection in his parents basement. But one day while playing his video games a portal suddenly opens up and Miles' video games come to life as zombies and start emerging from his TV. After being forced to escape to safety Miles can't help but wonder how it is possible for video game characters to not just be alive but also zombies? Realizing he is the only one who can stop the zombie outbreak Miles sets out to revert every last zombie back to its video game world while at the same time discover the connection between himself and the zombie outbreak.

The campaign launches with Zombie Byte! in the pre-alpha phase of game development with proof of concept, character prototypes, and animation tech demos already produced, breaking the mold or norm for Kickstarted video games. GameForward Studio chose to launch their campaign at this grassroots level to connect with and involve the gaming community as soon as possible because the concept of Zombie Byte! is just to cool not to share with everyone right away.
Now here is a brief rundown of backer rewards:
The reward tiers range from $1.00 to $7500.00 and include a mix of digital and physical rewards at their appropriate tiers. The first set of tiers range from $1.00 - $40.00 offering a combination of 1 or 2 digital game copies on iOS, Android, PC, or Mac + a digital in-game Art Book, with a single copy on iOS or Android being $5.00.

Indie video game startup company, GameForward Studio announces their Zombie Byte! crowdfunding campaign is now available on Kickstarter. Zombie Byte! is a new re-imagining of video game culture that appeals to new and old school gamers alike through its homages to current and past video game history. Centered around a boy named Miles, players will partake in a story driven experience filled with triumph, deception, and plot twists as they uncover the true connection between Miles and the zombie video game outbreak.
Miles is a lovable, witty, smart, and adept 13 year old boy with a deep passion for all things video game. An avid gamer and collector, Miles has amassed the worlds largest video game collection in his parents basement. But one day while playing his video games a portal suddenly opens up and Miles' video games come to life as zombies and start emerging from his TV. After being forced to escape to safety Miles can't help but wonder how it is possible for video game characters to not just be alive but also zombies? Realizing he is the only one who can stop the zombie outbreak Miles sets out to revert every last zombie back to its video game world while at the same time discover the connection between himself and the zombie outbreak.

Players can expect to experience animated level designs mixed with light puzzle elements, scripted sequences, random waves of zombie hordes, and boss battles.
Now here is a brief rundown of the Kickstarter campaign:
The Zombie Byte! crowdfunding campaign on Kickstarter is now live and ends on June 14th at 12:30pm EST. The campaign launches with Zombie Byte! in the pre-alpha phase of game development with proof of concept, character prototypes, and animation tech demos already produced, breaking the mold or norm for Kickstarted video games. GameForward Studio chose to launch their campaign at this grassroots level to connect with and involve the gaming community as soon as possible because the concept of Zombie Byte! is just to cool not to share with everyone right away.
Now here is a brief rundown of backer rewards:
The reward tiers range from $1.00 to $7500.00 and include a mix of digital and physical rewards at their appropriate tiers. The first set of tiers range from $1.00 - $40.00 offering a combination of 1 or 2 digital game copies on iOS, Android, PC, or Mac + a digital in-game Art Book, with a single copy on iOS or Android being $5.00.
The reward tiers ranging from $75.00 - $1500.00 include a mix of multiple digital game copies physical rewards such as Backer Exclusive T-shirts, Aluminum Dog Tag USB Flash Drives, Miles Action Figure USB Flash Drives, Miles Cosplay Costume Set, and Limited Edition Dev Team Autographed Production Art.

The app works with built-in or external measurement microphones to deliver reliable sound level measurements, including time-weighted and equivalent sound levels in addition to percentile-exceeded sound levels and noise dose.
Lehi, Utah - Building on the success of SoundMeter, which debuted on the iPhone App Store in August of 2008, Faber Acoustical has announced the release of SoundMeter Pro. SoundMeter Pro turns your iPad, iPhone, or iPod touch into a handheld data-logging sound level meter (SLM), data-logging noise dosimeter, and real-time analyzer (RTA).
SoundMeter Pro works with built-in or external measurement microphones to deliver reliable sound level measurements, including time-weighted and equivalent sound levels in addition to percentile-exceeded sound levels and noise dose. Measured levels can be logged at intervals as small as 0.1 seconds for durations of up to two weeks (longer measurement durations may require larger logging intervals). The built-in Octave tool performs sound level measurements in whole or 1/3-octave frequency bands.
In a recent article published in the Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, NIOSH researchers found that, out of over 130 sound measurement apps for iOS, "SoundMeter is the app best suited for occupational and general purpose noise measurements." SoundMeter Pro builds on everything SoundMeter has to offer.
With the built-in or headset microphone, SoundMeter Pro can measure peak sound levels of up to approximately 130 dB. Results may vary between iOS devices and headset microphones. External microphones may enable the measurement of much higher sound levels.
SoundMeter Pro also includes various features that users have come to expect from Faber apps, including the ability to save measurement data to CSV, TXT, or MAT files, save measurement displays to high resolution PDF files, switch between three different color schemes, and calibrate microphone input sensitivity. Exported data files may be retrieved from the iOS device via iTunes File Sharing or by enabling the app's built-in file server and downloading the files to another device or computer via a standard web browser. The built-in signal generator tool further extends SoundMeter Pro's utility by producing any of various test signals, including white noise, pink noise, frequency sweeps, and periodic waveforms.
Faber Acoustical has simultaneously announced the availability of SoundMeter 5.0. The new version of SoundMeter adds support for a new Data Logging Upgrade, which is available via in-app purchase. SoundMeter Pro includes all the functionality of SoundMeter 5 with all its available in-app purchase upgrades. Although both apps run on iOS 6, each also features a user interface tailored for iOS 7.
NOTE: Although it has been designed to do so, SoundMeter Pro is not guaranteed to meet ANSI or IEC standards for sound level meters. These standards require conformance of the entire measurement system, including software, hardware and microphones.
The built-in and headset microphones are suitable for certain, basic sound level measurements, but high precision external microphones may also be used with appropriate audio accessory hardware. Even though default sensitivity values are included for the built-in and headset microphones, for best results, SoundMeter Pro should be calibrated before use. Sound levels may be off by a few dB when using the default microphone sensitivity.

Power Manager is an energy saving solution for Mac OS X. Power Manager enables users to create sophisticated energy saving schedules and to automate complex tasks. Power Manager can power on a Mac, run a series of tasks, and power off the Mac without requiring any interaction.

Power Manager 4.2's application reveals more information about the events and scheduling engine. The application now offers two views: the events store and the engine.
The events store shows all the events available to the scheduler, including those that are disabled. This view builds upon the previous interface. Here, events are created, named, and managed.
The new engine view shows events as they exist within the scheduler. An event with two timed triggers will appear twice within the engine view; once for each trigger time. From the engine view, scheduled events can be adjusted, triggered, and cancelled. These actions were previously only possible through the status menu.
Power Manager is now distributed as an application, rather than an Installer package. As with other applications, to install, the application only needs to be placed within the Applications folder. Power Manager does this automatically. So, a double-click is all that is needed after downloading. Then, the application guides the user through setting up the scheduler without needing to restart or deal with Installer packages.
A fully packaged edition continues to be available for system administrators. The packaged edition is identical to the application edition but requires no interaction to set up.
Alongside no longer needing to restart, Power Manager 4.2 concentrates more functionality within the application. AppleScript support has been merged into the application, rather than using a separate scripting application. The command line tools have also been moved within the application bundle. These changes help reduce the number of files that need to be set up in order to power the scheduler.
System Requirements:
Power Manager supports Mac OS X 10.7 through OS X 10.9.
