Lumberjack Magician uses simple touchscreen controls to play. There are two red 'TAP' buttons on both sides of the tree trunk at the bottom of the screen. By tapping each button, the player navigates his magician into place to cast his disappearing spell on either side of the tree trunk. This allows the magician to avoid the descending tree branches. If the tree branches come in contact with the magician, the game is over.

AirBoy is a tap-to-fly adventure game that combines classic side-scrollers with physics games and billiard style problem solving coupled with beautiful story book graphics.
AirBoy has a massive sweet-tooth, fully-functional card-board wings and an unbeatable sense of adventure! AirBoy may have been sent outside to play, but all he can think about are do-nuts and cake; nothing will stop him from getting them! Maneuver AirBoy through each level while collecting do-nuts, finding and collecting the hidden cupcakes and knocking out enemies. You will need to use Grandpa's teeth, which are scattered all over the world, as a weapon and tool in each level by hitting them at the right angle to make them fly and bounce into enemies, obstacles, cupcakes, do-nuts, or other teeth. You can use the teeth to help you collect the items you need in each level.
Every new world you unlock will have it's own unique challenges such as lava with fireballs, slippery ice, low gravity as well as their own unique enemies such as hedgehogs, bats, fish, beetles, aliens and so on. AirBoy is an addicting game with cute characters, beautiful environments, fun gameplay and catchy music.
AirBoy is loaded with features like simple touch controls. Simply tap the screen and Airboy flaps his way into the sky. The controls may be simple, but the challenge isn't. The player must approach objects at the correct angle to solve puzzles and collect the sweets. AirBoy's adventure takes him everywhere! Deep beneath the ocean, into frozen wastelands and even to the moon! Each unlock-able world presents its own unique challenges and/or physics.
AirBoy is the brainchild of Travis Tobias and Eric Ewing: an award-winning duo of animation talent and design know-how. Pairing Travis' original design work with Eric's love of problem solving was a no-brainer, and together they formed the Phoenix Digital Group after having worked together in a variety of media including feature films. AirBoy is the first release from the team, who are already working on a follow-up. The guys aren't done with AirBoy though, the two have plans to continue supporting AirBoy in the future with new content updates for as long as people want to play them.

The powerful new version of Silverstack speeds up all backup processes with its completely revised copy engine and the super-fast checksum verification type "xxhash." Furthermore, Silverstack v4 enhances the range of advanced supported camera formats adding both Sony RAW for F55 / F65 as well as ProRes XQ which recently has been included to the ARRI Alexa. For backing up media to LTO tapes the new Silverstack v4 is now optimized for checksum verified copy processes via LTFS.

The single biggest problem people have had with the iOS8 update, is the missing Camera Roll in the Photos app. We realized that Apple would not fix this until iOS 8.1, so decided to quickly create a professional grade Camera Roll app. It took Apple 88 days between the iOS 6.0 and 6.1 release and it took 107 days between the release of iOS 7.0 and 7.1. Since Apple will be introducing Apple Pay in iOS 8.1, it might even take longer this time as they want to be confident that it works to a 100% and Apple can't afford to make any mistakes with Apple Pay. If you want the Camera roll back and can't wait three months, Photosane is your friend.
The app was designed to have non-destructive editing, so saving an edited photo creates a new copy in the photo library and the original photo is not touched. In this way it is easy to make many fun edits of the same photo. The edit functionality is quite advanced and also has some simple fun effects. The app has a quick navigation to the top and bottom of the albums with just a tap. This is extremely useful when you have thousand of photos in your library.
Photosane does not keep its own database of photos, so it manages the built in Photo library, the same library as the Photos app is using. All changes to photos in the Photosane app are instantly mirrored in the Apple Photos app. Album management has been a hassle in the Photos app, so we decided to simplify it. When you view a photo, you can just add to one or more albums with a tap or create a new album on the fly.

Players manipulate a 3-D cube floating in mid air looking for words that can wrap and twist around the sides of the cube. Move the cube up, down, 180 degrees to the left, 90 degrees to the right, there's nothing like it. Word Head is highly addictive because its rotating 3 dimensional cube challenges players to quickly discover words from either a pre-selected or player-customized list.
Find the word, score points. Once you find them all there's one more hurdle to clear; you must discover a special 'hidden' word to solve the cube.
Word Head (3D Word Search) - Educational was developed by retired U.S. Army Lieutenant Colonel Andy Kiger who served in Alaska and CONUS, to include an operational deployment in the Philippines and two combat tours in Iraq during his 23 years of active duty. Says Kiger, "I've been a big fan of word games my entire life and thought the iOS platform offered a great way to revolutionize the word search genre into something much more compelling and exciting than the traditional flat paged puzzle."
Kiger personally created the 79 themed word lists to be "both challenging and vocabulary enriching." Word Head dares players to search for and discover select words. Players can also select their own custom word list from a provided word look-up in four languages - French, German, Spanish, and English totaling over 1.6 million words, which can be shared with friends on Apple's Game Center. But the racing aspect really appealed to him. After a couple races he decided that he was going to keep playing it until he got 100% of the questions correct. By the time he was done playing, he had decided that he can do multiplication and he's good at it. I noticed a huge boost in his confidence, and that's led to increased effort from him in math. Within a couple days he had achieved a 100% score on the advanced difficulty level and he was so proud of his accomplishment. I love this game. I can't wait to release the free version."

While testing this game, an employee of Cool Math Games for Fun had the opportunity to let his 9-year old son who had been struggling with multiplication play one of our race games for a couple days:
"Jonah loves the Multiplication Race game. I had him play it to see how he liked it, and he was reluctant at first because he knew it was an educational game. But the racing aspect really appealed to him. After a couple races he decided that he was going to keep playing it until he got 100% of the questions correct. By the time he was done playing, he had decided that he can do multiplication and he's good at it. I noticed a huge boost in his confidence, and that's led to increased effort from him in math. Within a couple days he had achieved a 100% score on the advanced difficulty level and he was so proud of his accomplishment. I love this game. I can't wait to release the free version."
And it gets even better. Future updates will include social features that allow you to race against friends or classmates as you vie for the top spot on the Game Center leaderboard, making this an even more fun and interactive way to learn grade school math.

Maybe you had backed up your data then copied it back to your Mac only to find that some of your original files are still on there too. Either way, duplicate files are often not required and just end up taking up disk space. Duplicate Sweeper from Wide Angle Software locates these duplicates and helps to reclaim disk space.
Duplicate Sweeper makes finding duplicate files easy. It enables you to search for duplicates of all file types, such as your photos, videos, music or documents and you can select which folders to search for duplicate files in. For even more control, search preferences can be added so that only files matching your given criteria are searched. Duplicate Sweeper can ignore files that are larger than and/or smaller than given sizes. It can also ignore files with the given file extensions so that any important file types can be left out of the search.
Once Duplicate Sweeper has found all of the duplicates in the given folders, it allows you to select which files from the duplicates you wish to remove. Duplicate Sweeper has a built in document viewer so that you can check a file is not important before selecting to remove it. To speed thing up, you can also choose to automatically select to keep the newest or oldest file. This selection can be made on individual groups of files, for file types or for all the duplicate groups found.
Before removing files, Duplicate Sweeper displays a quick list of all the files that will be removed. It will also display how much space you will save by removing those files as well as a small breakdown of the media types being removed. Once you are happy to remove those files, Duplicate Sweeper can send them all to your Trash with a single click. These files can then be emptied from your Trash to delete them permanently or restored should the need arise.

kEmoji brings themes, custom emoji, and more via iOS 8 keyboard - Published on 10/02/14

Boston based Atlantia Software today unveiled kEmoji 1.0.1, an all new iOS 8 Custom Emoji Keyboard. The app improves upon the default emoji keyboard by adding the ability to apply new color themes, a contextual search feature that produces suggested emoji based on text you've already typed, and even provides several packs of custom "kEmoji" (emoticons and GIFs that go above and beyond the Unicode emoji) that can be used in any app, directly from the keyboard.
Boston, Massachusetts - Atlantia Software today unveiled kEmoji, an all new iOS 8 Custom Emoji Keyboard. The app improves upon the default emoji keyboard by adding the ability to apply new color themes, a contextual search feature that produces suggested emoji based on text you've already typed, and even provides several packs of custom "kEmoji" (emoticons and GIFs that go above and beyond the Unicode emoji) that can be used in any app, directly from the keyboard. To round things out, users will find a new "Top Emoji" section that tracks the emoji you've used the most over time, a list view for seeing the short description of any emoji, and even standard alphanumeric keyboards that are also theme-able.
kEmoji was created by a two-person team consisting of developer Nick Bonatsakis and his counter-part product visionary, designer, and marketer, Will Philbrick. "As soon as we saw the announcement around custom keyboards in iOS 8, we knew we wanted to take the default emoji keyboard to the next level", said Philbrick when asked about the motivation behind the app. "We felt strongly that people would love personalizing their keyboard experience, so we built a really awesome theme builder and packed the app full of great pre-built themes as well.
Additionally, we saw how limiting the standard Unicode emoji set can be, so we created a very convenient system for using totally new emoji and GIFs that we're calling 'kEmojis' so that we can provide a virtually limitless number of new emoji over time." Regarding some of the usability improvements, Bonatsakis added, "I really love the contextual search and Top Emoji sections in particular. To me, its all about how we can make it easer for a user to find the emoji they want for a particular message and get out quickly."

Boston based Atlantia Software today unveiled kEmoji 1.0.1, an all new iOS 8 Custom Emoji Keyboard. The app improves upon the default emoji keyboard by adding the ability to apply new color themes, a contextual search feature that produces suggested emoji based on text you've already typed, and even provides several packs of custom "kEmoji" (emoticons and GIFs that go above and beyond the Unicode emoji) that can be used in any app, directly from the keyboard.
Boston, Massachusetts - Atlantia Software today unveiled kEmoji, an all new iOS 8 Custom Emoji Keyboard. The app improves upon the default emoji keyboard by adding the ability to apply new color themes, a contextual search feature that produces suggested emoji based on text you've already typed, and even provides several packs of custom "kEmoji" (emoticons and GIFs that go above and beyond the Unicode emoji) that can be used in any app, directly from the keyboard. To round things out, users will find a new "Top Emoji" section that tracks the emoji you've used the most over time, a list view for seeing the short description of any emoji, and even standard alphanumeric keyboards that are also theme-able.
kEmoji was created by a two-person team consisting of developer Nick Bonatsakis and his counter-part product visionary, designer, and marketer, Will Philbrick. "As soon as we saw the announcement around custom keyboards in iOS 8, we knew we wanted to take the default emoji keyboard to the next level", said Philbrick when asked about the motivation behind the app. "We felt strongly that people would love personalizing their keyboard experience, so we built a really awesome theme builder and packed the app full of great pre-built themes as well.
Additionally, we saw how limiting the standard Unicode emoji set can be, so we created a very convenient system for using totally new emoji and GIFs that we're calling 'kEmojis' so that we can provide a virtually limitless number of new emoji over time." Regarding some of the usability improvements, Bonatsakis added, "I really love the contextual search and Top Emoji sections in particular. To me, its all about how we can make it easer for a user to find the emoji they want for a particular message and get out quickly."

The first App in a series of four, Explore the Animal Kingdom is especially designed for babies and preschoolers and provides them with rich visual and auditory content that teaches about animals. This new version allows us to customize pictures of all built-in cards. It is also now possible to create new cards by adding your own pictures.
Easy-to-use and intuitive, this app captivates kids by presenting them with 100 high-quality pictures of animals. When children touch one of the pictures in landscape mode, they will hear the sound of that animal. The app includes animals that you would see at the zoo, such as monkeys and elephants, and it also includes animals that you might see walking down the street, like dogs, cats or raccoons. A portrait shows the picture and name of the animal. Touching the picture will reveal the sound the animal makes, and touching the name will pronounce it.
A customization module allows users to change pictures, instrument names and record custom sounds and pronunciation. Parents can even record their child's voice to show how he or she is doing! It contains also a lot of features to customize kids learning experience. Like a slide show mode, random cards order, a quiz mode by hiding names, possibility of hiding instruments, etc.
Other Apps in this series, such as Discover Musical Instruments, EducaVroom and EducaFood, are also aimed at children between the ages of 0 to 6 years, and they are available through the App Store. All Apps of this series include words in English, French and Spanish. A free version of each of this app is also available on the App Store. It contains the same simple, fun, and educational elements, having about a third of full version's contents.
