Direct Remote is an ideal app for anyone looking for an alternative to the standard DirecTV Remote control. It has a backlit screen that enables easy control in the dark and it can control any compatible receiver on your network, even if it is in a cabinet, another room or otherwise out of sight. Setup is a breeze since properly configured receivers are automatically detected the 1st time you open the app. See notes below to check compatibility with your DirecTV system.

With a single action, App Store Icon Resizer takes care of creating all sizes of app icons that are needed for every app in Apple's App Store. The app prompts the user with a window, where the basic icon with a resolution of 1024x1024 pixels can be dragged in. After choosing the devices that the icon is meant to be used for, all necessary sizes can be exported to a user defined folder.
Pfaeffikon, Switzerland - Power App AG today is proud to announce the release of App Store Icon Resizer 1.0.0, its new developer tool for Mac OS X. App Store Icon Resizer takes care of creating all sizes of app icons that are needed for every app in Apple's App Store. With the latest release of Apples SDK it became necessary to upload app icons in 15 different sizes. This was done to support different screen resolutions for the various Apple devices that are listed on the iTunes App Store and Mac App Store.
App Store Icon Resizer prompts the user with a window, where the basic icon with a resolution of 1024x1024 pixels can be dragged in. After choosing the devices that the icon is meant to be used for, all necessary sizes can be exported to a user defined folder. A checkbox allows the user to generate .xcassets. The JSON file is generated along with the icons.
"Creating all necessary icon sizes for a single app is a time consuming process itself, even without xcassets and JSON. We figured that it would be much less boring if that process could be automatized, saving time and nerves. We created this app to make our own life easier by eliminating a process that is both time consuming and boring. Everybody who ever had to do a task that takes time and is boring at the same time will surely agree that this is a terrible combination." as Christian Schaffner is pointing out their motivation to create the App Store Icon Resizer and make it available in the App Store.
