California based Imaja today announces TaskInsight 3.3, an important update to its productivity and business app for Mac OS X. TaskInsight features task list and timeline management, for productivity and business, with a rich feature set and iCloud support on Mac OS X. Import and export functions support TSV and XML files for sharing with other applications. This update debuts a new speech commands module to control TaskInsight, and a new function to create speakable text from the task list.
Berkeley, California - Imaja announces TaskInsight 3.3, task list and timeline management, for productivity and business, with a rich feature set and iCloud support on Mac OS X. This update debuts a new speech commands module to control TaskInsight, and a new function to create speakable text from the task list.
Speech Commands Module 1 provides speech control for various actions, including task selection, speaking, setting priorities and status, sorting, navigation, and other actions. The speech control uses the Mac OS X Speakable Items system (in System Preferences / Accessibility). Speech Commands Module 1 is an In App Purchase. TaskInsight supports text-to-speech of the selected tasks, and the new Copy as Speakable Text puts a copy of the selected tasks on the Clipboard specially formatted for the Text to Speech capability of Mac OS X, including natural phrasing for better comprehension. To create an audio track that can be synced to your iPhone or iPad for on-the-go listening, paste the text into TextEdit and use "Add to iTunes as a Spoken Track" in the Services menu.
TaskInsight includes priorities, labels, color coding, graphic timeline, list/table view, background images, manual and automatic sorting, drag and drop, copy and paste, undo and redo, customizable views, and several optional fields, easy importation of tasks with Paste Text Lines as Items, and contextual menus.
Use various special Copy and Paste commands for moving tasks within TaskInsight documents or to other applications. The copy commands create color-coded tables in Rich Text Format (RTF) that can be pasted into other applications such as word processors, e-mails or other documents.
The Search function provides general text searching, label-specific searching, priority and status searching. The Recent Searches menu provides quick access to recent filtered views.
Use Shift Time to reschedule tasks. Use simple and combination sorting to organize tasks by priority, label, status, and various date fields.
Text can be resized for compact screen sharing views or large presentation views, and full screen mode can be engaged for presentations or focused task management sessions.
The Timeline view supports zoom in and out on the time scale, drag rescheduling, search filtering, sorting and auto-sorting, font, font size, font color and background color customization, color-coded priorities, and extensive keyboard navigation.
Use the Timeline to evaluate and arrange task sequencing. The grid label display automatically adjusts based on current zoom level. Customize the Timeline for presentations with a background image and the option of color tinting or brightness changes. Change text font, size and colors, margin settings, snap to time grid, time grid line colors, auto-sort and many other options. The Go To Date command provides easy Timeline navigation. View the "percent done" task attribute graphically in the Timeline.
Import and export functions support TSV (tab-separated values) and XML files for sharing with other database, spreadsheet or project management applications. The Timeline or List view can be easily exported to PDF via the Print command for delivery to viewers.
Document Settings provides many display and behavior customizations. TaskInsight documents optionally include date columns for start, due, completed, created and modified dates, useful for planning, sorting and analyzing task list history. Dates can optionally include time of day for display and editing. The Recent Documents panel provides quick access to important task lists.
Standard, searchable documentation is provided through Apple Help, including a useful page on Keyboard Shortcuts.
AppleScript can be used to change properties of TaskInsight documents, such as various Document Settings, task properties and task views. Tasks can be created and modified with AppleScript. Sample AppleScript scripts can be downloaded from the TaskInsight web page.

Warszawa, Poland - An indie game company Telehorse is developing a new 2D adventure game called Steampunker. The game is certain to appeal to the steampunk community and any point and click game lovers alike. The release of the iOS version is planned for early July 2014.
In Steampunker the player takes on the role of a gentleman hero named Vincent who, facing the invasion of evil robots from space, needs to save the world.
We meet Vincent in a harbor, then he boards a submarine, travels to an island, flies to the Moon in a rocket and finally fights the robots in their spaceship. Easier said than done, because in order to complete the mission he has to fix a variety of machines and mechanisms as well as solve a series of puzzles and brain teasers. The puzzles are linked together into a traditional "point-and-click" adventure story. The ultimate mission of the game is to save the planet and deal the final blow to the evil robots.
Steampunker game is set in an astonishing Steampunk world, inspired by old rusty machines, Steampunk and Dieselpunk styles, old science-fiction books and Victorian graphics.
It's worth mentioning that Mariusz Szypura, the CEO of Telehorse and the developer of Steampunker, is also a musician. His previous works include the concept album about the iconic genius - Nikola Tesla. The original music and sound effects by Szypura's Silver Rocket are another strong point of Steampunker.

Free fall from a second story window, which leads to an escape through a backyard littered with rakes, ponds, and lawn darts. The player will have to brave the treturous stairway with slinkys, rollerskates, and many other traps in the way. The object of the game is to see how far the player can go, food pellets they can collect and to get the high score.
In Crazy Critter Dash, the player frantically swipes their way past tons of fun obstacles. They will choose from three highly customizable critters, select a power-up, then upgrade any abilities, then dash for a new high score! There are multiple areas that all play slightly differently, changing up the setting and pace. This game accessible to all ages and fun for anyone and everyone and a trailer video is available.

The application is capable of reading QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec Code and also barcodes, and stands out among other QR code readers due to its compliance with all URL standards.
Among its many capabilities, Qrafter Pro includes a valuable QR Code generator that can prove beneficial for businesses required to create them from scratch. The application can change the colors of the QR Code images, save them to any photo library, email them as PNG and SVG image files, share them on social media sites and print them using Air Print on iOS. With Qrafter Pro, when a QR code that includes a URL is scanned, the URL is unwrapped and then scanned with the Google Safe Browsing API to check for malware or phishing sites."
Erkan, an IT professional and developer with 13 years of industry experience, has delivered several useful and popular apps, and uses only open source applications and operating systems. He launched his QR code business as a hobby in 2006, and wrote Qrafter himself after trying out several QR code apps on the app store, only to find that there were no standards-compatible and reliable apps on the market. The resulting Qrafter app has been used to scan and generate millions of QR codes.
The application excels in file downloading and conversion, to be the most accessible and compatible code reader and generator app available. For example, Qrafter includes a vCard (.vcf) and iCalendar (.ics) file downloader which can download the files using Safari or the application's own internal web browser. Qrafter Pro can also parse everything from names to events, in addition to downloading contact photos.
"The application surpasses potential for pure organization, it also has possible small business applications," said Erkan. "For example, Qrafter can scan bar codes and send the raw data to any email address. It's a very simple and cost-effective method of conducting routine inventory assessments." The application is capable of reading QR Code, Data Matrix, Aztec Code and also barcodes, and stands out among other QR code readers due to its compliance with all URL standards.
Among its many capabilities, Qrafter Pro includes a valuable QR Code generator that can prove beneficial for businesses required to create them from scratch. The application can change the colors of the QR Code images, save them to any photo library, email them as PNG and SVG image files, share them on social media sites and print them using Air Print on iOS. In addition to the Pro version, the free Qrafter app is also now available on iTunes. Qrafter does not generate codes like Qrafter Pro, although it is a full-featured QR code scanner that is easy to use with any iPhone, iPad or iPod touch. The Pro Pack can easily be added to Qrafter as an in-app purchase to add code generation abilities and other sophisticated features, becoming on par with Qrafter Pro.
The app was created with security in mind, and users can protect their 2D codes with passwords. Additionally, Qrafter Pro includes a unique security feature not found in any other QR code app that protects against malware or phishing sites. "QR codes can easily be used to obfuscate a malicious URL," said developer Kerem Erkan. "Yet no other QR code app has addressed this critical issue. With Qrafter Pro, when a QR code that includes a URL is scanned, the URL is unwrapped and then scanned with the Google Safe Browsing API to check for malware or phishing sites."
Erkan, an IT professional and developer with 13 years of industry experience, has delivered several useful and popular apps, and uses only open source applications and operating systems. He launched his QR code business as a hobby in 2006, and wrote Qrafter himself after trying out several QR code apps on the app store, only to find that there were no standards-compatible and reliable apps on the market. The resulting Qrafter app has been used to scan and generate millions of QR codes.
The application excels in file downloading and conversion, to be the most accessible and compatible code reader and generator app available. For example, Qrafter includes a vCard (.vcf) and iCalendar (.ics) file downloader which can download the files using Safari or the application's own internal web browser. Qrafter Pro can also parse everything from names to events, in addition to downloading contact photos.
"The application surpasses potential for pure organization, it also has possible small business applications," said Erkan. "For example, Qrafter can scan bar codes and send the raw data to any email address. It's a very simple and cost-effective method of conducting routine inventory assessments." The success of the application stems from its ability to interpret many different types of content, including URLs, business cards and maps for example. Qrafter is also able to be integrated into other apps for the most versatile solution whatever the task is. Currently, Qrafter is widely used in Japan as well as many schools around the United States. Recently, it has been used as a part of the program in an MBA class at Rutgers University.
