B-Eng today announces Photo Studio HD 1.6.0, an important update to their picture editing suite developed for iOS devices. Photo Studio HD is aimed at combining the fun of playing with pictures and the needs of professional picture editing. Version 1.6.0 is more than 100 times faster while increasing the number of filters and effects to more than 450. Rebuilt from scratch, this app comes with a new user interface that is fast, reliable and intuitive to use.

The goal of this update was increasing stability and enhancing performance while speeding up the application and expanding its functionality. The UI has been sorted out so that effects and filters now are clearly distinguishable.
The new Histogram and White Balance are clearly aiming for advanced users, while the many presets for color and light correction guarantee a low threshold for users that just want to make a few changes to their photos without digging to deep into the matter.
"Besides of the many technical approvements like increased speed and stability we wanted to provide tools for advanced users without forgetting the big crowd that just wants to make a few automated corrections to selfie or having fun while playing around." states Harry Bachmann, founder and owner of B-Eng.
The app provides the user with presets for color correction, light correction, more than 20 different blend modes, histogram and an editor that includes gamma correction, hue controls and a tonecurve filter.
"Most photos shot with an iPhone are selfies, that explains why teeth whitener apps and face tuning apps have such a big success. That's why we included patching and smooting tools along with red eye removal and teeth whitener without any extra charge. In development since mid 2013, Path Finder 7 has been a much anticipated release, with Cocoatech adding a bevy of new, beefy features that add to Path Finder's already impressive arsenal.
Two of the most user requested features- Dropbox support and folder synchronization, are addressed in the new version, with Cocoatech adding full Dropbox integration and going above and beyond with their new "FolderSync" engine.
