Are you having issue while connected to your CenturyLink Internet service and/or cellular mobile data? Or just one and not the other? If the issue is happening while connected to wifi and using cellular data, then CenturyLink is not the issue.

Just because you are receiving email, it doesn't mean everything is ok to send. You make two different connections to the email server. Evidently there is something funky going on the outgoing email connection. Wrong server name, username, password, other issues. Just because you think the password is ok to receive email, that doesn't mean the sending email password is the same, for example.

Century Link must help you, it is their server that you aren't talking to.

None of my apple devices - iPod touch, iPad and Smart Phone 4s, can send email. It keeps telling me I have the wrong email address. I'm receiving my emails just fine (same email password); but why do I have this problem after installing the software update and how can I fix it?

I tried re-setting and that didn't work. Then tried deleting my main email. That didn't work. I'm throwing up my hands and asking for help and hope someone else has experienced and solved this problem. My internet service at Century link was no help either. :-(

Thanks in advance for any help!

Signing onto Century Link email online is a great suggestion.

Weird about Yahoo forcing password changes. I've had a yahoo email for many years and haven't had that issue. But maybe it's related to using other yahoo services or being contracted like thru century link. Interesting.

There could also be an issue with outgoing SMTP server.
If you open settings > email & calendars & contacts > then tap email account your having issues with > at top you will see the email account email address > tap the email account > the you will see Outgoing Mail Server. Tap SMTP.

You will a list of SMTP servers. If the primary SMTP server is not responding the you can enable other common servers.

Turning the others on May help.

Yahoo email accounts are heavily hacked. So they keep wanting you to change passwords to help prevent this.

I've had the same problem from time to time. The solution's always something like that described here. A small pain, but acceptable.

What I wonder is what causes it.

After digitizing both CD's go into the properties of the second cd, consecutively number the tracks as a continuation of the fist cd, then highlight all the tracks of both cd's, click on properties and rename the album to a common name, usually removing the 1 of 2 and 2 of 2 portions of the name. Highlighting all the tracks just makes it simple as it will change all the names to be common in one click. The iPod should then see all the songs as belonging to one album.

I have 2 questions:

1.. When I have uploaded several CDs one or two tracks seem to separate themselves from the full CD. In other words tracks 1,3-6,8-10 may all be in one area but tracks 2 and 7 are separate in another area but with the same album title. I have compared info on each track, made certain compilation is checked but cannot get all tracks together under one album title. Any suggestions on correcting this

2.. Is there a way with 2 CD sets to combine all tracks under one album title?
Thanks,

Don
