For today only, Print Selection will be available for free on the Mac App Store. Print Selection integrates with OS X so that users can selectively print snippets from the web, email, and documents. Accessible from the menubar or as a service, it makes wasting ink on banner ads, sidebars, and comments a thing of the past.
Likewise, Cloud Clip will be given away on the Mac App Store tomorrow. Cloud Clip keeps a history of past clippings and syncs them to all of a users Macs, iPhones, and iPads via iCloud. The seamless transfer works for text, images, pdfs, and a variety of other file formats. A blacklist feature is available to keep the app from saving sensitive data.
On Saturday, Stock + Pro will conclude the three day giveaway. Stock + Pro places a scrolling ticker tape right in the menubar or on the desktop. Investors can quickly access charts, company news, and key metrics within the app. Version 2.0 will be coming out soon with a myriad of enhancements.

Austin, Texas - Ashlar-Vellum today is proud to announce the beta release of Graphite version 9, their 2D/3D wireframe drafting program on both Mac and Windows. Graphite v9 precision CAD software includes a number of enhancements and new features.
Graphite v9 includes an updated user interface with optionally larger text and new, easy to read icons, tool tips with click-through hyperlinks to documentation. New features include a general function tool palette, a new Stretch tool and Copy Item by Path tool. Enhancements have also been added to import/export functions including adding the latest DXF/DWG support, 2D PDF import and enhanced PDF exports. Now based on a Unicode core, Graphite v9 supports multiple foreign languages and alphabets for both the user interface and drawing document.
Ashlar-Vellum president, Robert Bou, commented, "Graphite is still the quickest way from thought to production. Now with the new v9 interface we anticipate that the average self-learning time for a new user, with no previous CAD experience, will be less than three hours."
Graphite v9 is a paid upgrade for those using Graphite v8 or for Cobalt and Xenon v8 users with a companion license to Graphite. Upgrades are available from previous versions from the past 10 years, with prices varying according to the age of the software.

Park Ridge, Illinois - Nravo Inc. today is pleased to announce the release and immediate availability of Lightomania 1.0.1, an update to their popular animated puzzle game for iPad, iPhone, and iPod touch devices. Featuring a duo of charming fuzzy characters called "lightomaniacs," users must solve logic puzzles that enable the lightomaniacs to steal the light bulb. In the most recent version of Lightomania, minor bugs are fixed and the app will be available globally.
In order to steal the light bulb, users pull the tongue of the lightomaniac character, choose the best trajectory, and release to make the jump. To jump twice as high, users can have the characters bounce off of one another. If the user obtains three lightnings in a set amount of jumps, they can collect their wings and unlock the next pack of challenging puzzles. The less moves it takes to reach the target results in more bonuses for the user.

Nick Powell and Flynn Trinquet, the co-founders of the company, describe their app as a tool that will empower bullying victims by encouraging the community to lend its support. According to Nick, "the idea was to design an application that can serve as a common platform for friends, families and supporters to unite in order to help solve this global issue."
Sharing the reasons that sparked the idea, Flynn Trinquet explained, "Over the last few years, bullying has lead numerous victims, especially teenagers, to suicide. These are incidents that could have been avoided through timely support and communication. The problem is that bullying destroys victim confidence and self-esteem to such an extent that they seldom ask for help. That is why we want the supporters to take the initiative. Through DearBully, we want to establish a community where anyone who uploads a video can make going to school safer and more enjoyable for all students."
Nick further highlighted that the target user demographic of the application goes beyond teens experiencing bullying at school. The application can be used by people who have themselves been a victim of bullying or are currently experiencing bullying, and also by those who simply want to help eradicate the problem through their support. Both Nick and Flynn want people who care for the cause to let victims know that others have triumphed over their bullies and that they are not alone.
Both the founders, however, specifically encourage former bullying victims to come forward and share their stories with the users. "We want the victims to know that others have triumphed over their bullies and so can they," adds Nick.
Keeping up with the company's vision of overcoming all kinds of prejudices, the application is made available for iOS device users throughout the world. The founders are actively working to broaden and magnify the impact of their application and in the near future, the company plans on recruiting support from high-profile celebrities and community leaders.

A key part of Mech Conquest is how players purchase and collect hundreds of items - from weapons to pilots and Mech parts. As gamers triumph in battle, they earn currency which they can then use to purchase extra packs of Mech parts. Parts vary in their rarity and can be combined to create powerful weapons and other components that boost the power and destructive capability of players' Battle Mechs. In addition to building and upgrading their individual Mechs, players also control a fleet of spaceships that are used to mine and gather valuable resources, research new weapons, and discover new technologies in order to build up their formidable robotic army.
Mech Conquest has social playability at its heart, with the Faction battle system, Facebook integration and global leaderboards ensuring that players have hundreds of hours of gameplay in store. The developers will also be adding new content to the game over the coming months on a constant basis to keeps things fresh and exciting for the players.

Shiverware today proudly introduces Star Trek Vulcan Harp 1.0, their new entertainment app developed exclusively for the iPad. Officially licensed by CBS Interactive, Inc., Star Trek Vulcan Harp is a replica of the unique musical instrument that Captain Kirk's First Officer played on the original Star Trek TV series. Featuring 5 instrument sounds, with a large 6-and-a-half octave range, the app produces a wide-range of sounds, from traditional harp tones to spacey, 23rd century music.
Regina, Canada - Fans of Star Trek(TM) can now play Mr. Spock's Vulcan harp with a new iPad app. The app, a replica of the unique musical instrument that Captain Kirk's First Officer played on the original Star Trek TV series, was developed by Shiverware and is officially licensed by CBS Interactive, Inc.
The Star Trek(TM) Vulcan Harp features:
* 15 vibrating strings - each identified, making it easy to play songs
* 5 instrument sounds - from futuristic to the classic harp
* Large 6-and-a-half octave range in 5 octave banks
* Multi-level distortion and reverberation custom controls
* The ability to select pentatonic scale (five notes per octave)
* One button background arpeggio (sequence chords)
* Rich, inlaid wood detail on harp and moving starfield background
* Sound Cloud recording/sharing
The Star Trek(TM) Vulcan Harp app was created by Shiverware, a Saskatchewan company specializing in interactive software development. Brett Park, Lead Developer, said, "What sets this app apart from the other musical apps we've built is the application's pure beauty and fan following. We hope Trekkers will love it, but musicians will also get a kick out of it." Lead Designer Mishayla Kapell adds, "We felt it was important to maintain the integrity of the original design while incorporating functional, sleekly styled controls to give iPad users the intuitive interaction they expect."
Katherine Kelly, a long-time Trek fan, had approached Shiverware with the idea. "I've always wanted to own a Vulcan harp, but the prop-style harps are either decorative or just have acoustic strings, and they rarely come up for sale. A digitized Vulcan harp with working dials is not only cool but, dare I say, logical."
The app produces a wide-range of sounds - from traditional harp tones to spacey, 23rd century music.
