Performance and Benchmarks:
Product benchmarks are often performed under unrealistic conditions like testing two feet from a router with no obstructions. A real world test of BearExtender Turbo was conducted through multiple doors and walls at a distance of 75 feet between the test computer and base station.

Using AJA System Test on Mac OS X 10.9 Mavericks, a 2GB file was transferred between a Mid-2012 802.11n MacBook Air and a 2013 Apple Time Capsule at a rate of 10.66 Megabytes per second (MB/s not megabits). The same test with BearExtender Turbo connected to the MacBook Air's USB 3.0 port had a rate of 23.84 MB/s, more than twice the Macbook Air's internal Wi-Fi card.

This real world test also included the overhead from transferring a file using the Apple Filing Protocol (AFP). Real world tests help reflect actual 802.11ac performance instead of theoretical maximum rates.

For maximum connection speeds, BearExtender Turbo must be used with an 802.11ac router and a USB 3.0 port. It is backward compatible with 802.11b/g/n standards. Internet download and streaming speeds will be limited by your Internet Service Provider (ISP) plan and service tier. For example, if your 802.11n Mac already gets the full speed provided by your ISP, BearExtender cannot increase the speed of your ISP.

Not only are classmates more connected than ever with Classting, they can also connect with other classes, anywhere in the world, by requesting an "exchange program" through the "Ting" feature. Perhaps a Japanese language teacher in the United States would like to pair her students with virtual pen pals in Japan. Classting is designed to make that effortless, and is designing international versions of its app for just that purpose.

The newly launched application has received attention from high places already; Google chose the app as one of its favorite start-ups as part of a program sponsored by the Korean government and SoftBank Ventures has invested 1 billion won ($941,000) in the application. Softbank Ventures is part of SoftBank Corp., a Japanese telecommunications company.

This is the third instalment in the series 'ReTold Tales" following number one book App, in Italy, Mr Wolf and the Ginger Cupcakes and Puss in Boots. With The Three Bears App, Blue Quoll re-invents and rejuvenate this timeless classic with the style, whimsy and care for details that have become trademarks of all Blue Quoll productions.

Blue Quoll's version of Three Bears departs quickly from the traditional tale after the common beginning introducing a naughty Goldilocks who finds herself in a series of humorous situations when the three bears come from their usual morning stroll and find her snoring on one of their beds. Amongst all the fun however the story talks about cultural diversity and language barriers and eventually of acceptance and joy of sharing.

Aimed at children 2 The Three Bears and Goldilocks can be read and experienced like a traditional picturebook or it can be listened to as it is fully narrated in eight different languages, English, Italian, Spanish, French, German, Chinese (traditional, simplified) and Japanese. The Three Bears and Goldilocks is also delightfully interactive presenting several "hot spots" on each page that when tapped trigger a sound or a speech balloon that is fully narrated in every language as well.

'We have improved notably the functionality of our 'PopUp Tap and Discover' interactivity by having the speech balloons narrated in each language' says Blue Quoll director Vincenzo Pignatelli. 'Since we introduced this form of interactivity in version 2.0 of Mr Wolf, response has been very positive however having the speech ballons narrated has the obvious advantage that now younger children who can not read yet can enjoy by themselves the whole App experience..

The Three Bears and Goldilocks is illustrated by emerging Melbourne based illustrator Laura Wood. New Motion Lock for safe, hands free driving

CoPilot's Motion Lock enables drivers to choose the minimum travel speed at which the map becomes locked for safer, hands-free driving. Speeds can be set at five, 10, 15 or 20 miles per hour.

"Adjusting your GPS system while driving can be distracting, so we are introducing Motion Lock to reduce driver interaction while on the move," said David Quin, head of consumer applications at ALK Technologies. Restyled and refreshed UI

CoPilot v9.5 also includes a restyled flat UI design and refreshed app icons for a clearer, simpler user experience. The restyled UI is available for all iOS apps. The app is now also fully compatible with iOS 7.

Additional CoPilot enhancements include:
* Improved in-app search to more easily find places near a destination;
* Highway exit numbers are now displayed on the map, giving drivers clearer guidance;
* Two striking new 3D and 2D map guidance styles

Another unique feature of Knicket is the "in-app-purchase" filter. It allows to exclude applications that have (sometimes hidden) purchases within the games/apps. After using the filters, results can be sorted by downloads, rating or relevance.

Users can find apps related to other apps through the Appmesh. It recommends certain apps based on one that a user can select. The makers of Knicket have developed their own algorithm that offers similar content and will be improved further step by step.
