To begin Insta Shaper, users must first select a template to start. Insta Shaper will then prompt for the user to either take a photo or select one from their photo library. Insta Shaper allows users to add text in a variety of colors and fonts to the image. Text can be manipulated and resized by pinching the text with two fingers. Users can also add multiple lines of text to an image.
Insta Shaper provides twenty different tonal effects that can be applied to images including sepia and grayscale. Additionally, Insta Shaper offers a large selection of unique patterns that be applied to the cut-out portion of the image. Users can also set what percentage of the cut-out image should be displayed.
When the image is completed, users select the green checkmark in the upper right corner. A sidebar offers the option to download the image, share on Instagram or Facebook, or e-mail the image. A smiley face icon appears when the process is complete.

PhotoUpLink Aperture Export Plugin adds Facebook Pages uploading feature - Published on 02/05/14

PhotoUpLink for Aperture 1.8.3 includes a new feature enabling owners of Facebook business, organization or brand pages to upload photos directly to any Facebook Page they manage, directly from the Aperture Export menu. When logged in as the Facebook user with Manager or Content Creator admin roles, a list of all Facebook Pages that the account manages is provided. Any group of photos selected into the PhotoUpLink Aperture Export Plugin will then be uploaded to the designated Facebook Page.
Oakland, California - Aperture 3 for Mac has several sharing options, including uploading to a personal Facebook profile. Now with the release of PhotoUpLink for Aperture 1.8.3, photos can be uploaded to any business, organization or brand Facebook Page directly from the Aperture Export file menu option.
Using a separate login provided by the PhotoUpLink Aperture Export Plugin, a list of all the pages the logged in user manages is presented for selection in a pull-down menu in the Facebook Pages tab. Photos will be uploaded to the selected Facebook Page when Export is clicked. The PhotoUpLink Facebook application will require posting and manage pages authorization when first logging in.
PhotoUpLink also includes an FTP function that when run, executes in separate process from the host application and can be terminated at any time, preventing any FTP server or connection issues from freezing the main application. PhotoUpLink's responsive modal dialog box provides accurate feedback of the upload process, displaying per file and total upload progress information.
PhotoUpLink for Aperture 1.8.3 is a 64-bit Intel build for Aperture 3.4.5 and requires Mac OS X v10.7.5 or newer. PhotoUpLink for Aperture has also been tested to work with Aperture 3.4.5 when running on OS X Mavericks. PhotoUpLink for Aperture supports exporting of image versions or originals. To use PhotoUpLink for Aperture, first select a group of images, then go to the File menu and highlight the Export sub menu item. Select PhotoUpLink for Aperture in the sub menu that appears.

This alpha preview release of the PhotoUpLink Export Plugin for Mac Aperture is available for a limited time. During this trial period, 5 items can be can be exported. Child of the Week is an exciting new App that will help households run more smoothly and prevent arguments over those little things, like whose turn it is to choose a movie to watch or sit in the front seat of the car.
Child of the Week is a concept that creates harmony and peace in the busy lives of families by helping parents manage their children. Created by Rachael Cox, an Australian mother of four who was looking for a way to minimise sibling rivalry, the App is now available to download from iTunes.
"I so clearly remember when my oldest two children Jemima and Jacob were six and five years old and I asked them how their day was, they both wanted to blurt out everything straight away, bombarding me with their stories and list of activities. They were talking over each other and became frustrated and started to argue.
"That was it, I thought there has got to be a better, fairer way and they need to learn to take turns," said Rachael.
Ten years on, Rachael's children now range in age from nine to seventeen years and the system still works very well.
"I wasn't sure how it would work with older children but it's even better because the teenagers know what is expected and they are both onboard."
Child of the Week works on a rotational basis, where all children, from youngsters to teens, get to be the leader (within boundaries) in the home, for the week. It provides children with the important role of decision maker within the household. They benefit from the perks and work for the chores.
By programming perks and chores, and participating in family discussions, the application brings families together through shared, rotational responsibilities, chosen by the parent, specifically for each child.
Rachael says the system teaches the children fairness, equality and understanding, and gives each child a sense of achievement. Each child gets a turn at being Child of the Week, increasing their self esteem by empowering them with responsibility.
"Chores could include setting and clearing the table, stacking and unstacking the dishwasher, making their bed, getting letters from the letter box, whatever works for your family. For older kids, mowing the lawn, driving the car or looking after younger siblings may apply," she said.
"The advantage of this concept is they also get perks such as sitting in the front or middle seat in the car, being dropped at school first, choosing what to have for dinner, choosing where to go for dinner, what movie to watch, what family outing to go on, spending one on one time with Mum ad Dad, or using the computer first," said Rachael.
"Initially I talked about it to lots of people and they began to use the method and realised it worked for them too. So I came up with the idea of an App to make it readily accessible to everyone who wants it," said Rachael.
"Children love being Child of the Week because they feel empowered. It promotes maturity by teaching them about leadership and patience. It also teaches respect as they must respect the other child's decision.
"It's fantastic from a parent's point of view too as there are no fights or arguments, I love that it brings a sense of calm to the house. It is also a great way to connect with your children. I truly love spending quality time with each child and sometimes we forget to put aside that special time."

They were talking over each other and became frustrated and started to argue.
"That was it, I thought there has got to be a better, fairer way and they need to learn to take turns," said Rachael.

"I wasn't sure how it would work with older children but it's even better because the teenagers know what is expected and they are both onboard."
Child of the Week works on a rotational basis, where all children, from youngsters to teens, get to be the leader (within boundaries) in the home, for the week. It provides children with the important role of decision maker within the household. They benefit from the perks and work for the chores.
By programming perks and chores, and participating in family discussions, the application brings families together through shared, rotational responsibilities, chosen by the parent, specifically for each child.
Rachael says the system teaches the children fairness, equality and understanding, and gives each child a sense of achievement. Each child gets a turn at being Child of the Week, increasing their self esteem by empowering them with responsibility.
"Chores could include setting and clearing the table, stacking and unstacking the dishwasher, making their bed, getting letters from the letter box, whatever works for your family. For older kids, mowing the lawn, driving the car or looking after younger siblings may apply," she said.
"The advantage of this concept is they also get perks such as sitting in the front or middle seat in the car, being dropped at school first, choosing what to have for dinner, choosing where to go for dinner, what movie to watch, what family outing to go on, spending one on one time with Mum ad Dad, or using the computer first," said Rachael.
"Initially I talked about it to lots of people and they began to use the method and realised it worked for them too. So I came up with the idea of an App to make it readily accessible to everyone who wants it," said Rachael.
"Children love being Child of the Week because they feel empowered. It promotes maturity by teaching them about leadership and patience. It also teaches respect as they must respect the other child's decision.

Hong Kong - This week, Kickstarter-funded Phonejoy Solutions Limited announces the release of a new app for iPhones that recommends iCade and iOS7 compatible games to gamepads of all brands. This service is intended as a complement to the Phonejoy controller which had been delayed several times much to the dismay of Kickstarter backers. The gamepad controller, which effectively turns a mobile phone into a portable game console, was originally intended to launch in April 2013. Now, nearly a year later, Phonejoy assures the product will hit the market in March 2014.
Meanwhile, competitors have already made it into retail stores worldwide, albeit without an companion app. The Phonejoy app claims to have the most complete library of compatible games, boasting a combined total of over 300 iOS games.
When asked about the app, Martin Kessler, Phonejoy co-founder, replied, "For those that have been impatient and bought one of our competitor products, at least now you'll to be able to find matching games to pass the time until we are hitting the stores."

* Automatically quit itself after it has been idle for a user-selected time period.
* Automatically prevent System Sleep or Screen Saver activation when it is the foreground application.
With such automatic application management, SuperTab raises the bar for launcher utilities by proactively ensuring that users will never again miss important meetings or be unreachable by keeping their calendar, email and chat applications running when they need them.
