Good point, Bruce, "using cable with pc". Will have to do. Find myself going to net a lot, liking music from utube. Wanna get away from pc too for a while, cause there probably too much. Lol. So, guess am talking about Touch and surfing the net. Thanks for your tip.

Only if there's a recycle bin out there. Or you could christen the kitchen garbage can a recycle bin and add the plastic to the coffee grounds.

As someone else said, use wired sync.
You can still use it as a music, audiobook & podcast player and there are
many games that can be played off-line.
I still use my 2nd-gen for such things.

If this doesn't suit you, perhaps there's someone else around you who would
be happy to have a free mp3 player.
