ID2Office eliminates the need of recreating the contents of an InDesign file in Microsoft Word, Microsoft PowerPoint or Apple Keynote resulting in enhanced workflow automation.

Use Archipad as you would use a tracing pad. Sketch, overlay it, and sketch further to develop your ideas. Archipad is more akin to a painting app than a drawing program. this means that shapes and freehand lines, can be added, partially erased and more shapes and lines added, building up the drawing, similar to a traditional sketching methods. We feel this to be also more appropriate to the iPad as one interacts with it in a much quicker and direct way than a standard computer that uses a mouse. Also as one uses a finger to draw on the iPad, it would be difficult to recreate the levels of accuracy that is need in a CAD program.
The target market of Archipad is not only the professional Architects and designers but as it is simple enough to use, it can include the amateur space planner, armed with an estate agent's plans. Anybody wanting to buy or rent a property wants to explore how they can either move walls around or lay out furniture. With Archipad it would be simple to import the plan, set the scale, erase some walls, draw some new ones and place some furniture. These initial ideas then can be communicated more clearly with others.
The price structure of Archipad also reflects its diverse potential use. Its free to download and use for a small project. A student or a house buyer can purchase a subscription for a short interval and longer for a professional. Adopting the subscription model guarantees that the latest features are added to the app as soon as they become available, and the app can be activated and reactivated whenever it is needed.

Tonido offers users secure access to their home computer's entire collection of documents, photos, music and videos from anywhere without having to upload it to a public cloud service. The self-hosted cloud solution allows users to view documents, play music, browse photos, watch videos and share files without ever sending personal data through unsecured mediums like email, social media platforms or storing in Public Online services. Vancouver, Canada - The IoT Design Shop at Finger Food Studios is pleased to announce the public release of their iBeacon Development Kit. This kit is designed to aid developers looking to experiment and establish expertise with iBeacon and related Bluetooth LE technologies.
The kit includes an AAA-cell powered development beacon which is fully configurable to allow unique iBeacon ID's and custom power and broadcast characteristics. Additionally, tutorials are provided which demonstrate the Bluetooth LE systems for configuring the beacon as well as reference code for Apps that can harness the iBeacon protocol in iOS.
According to Trent Shumay, CTO of the IoT Design Shop - "Our goal for the product is to level the playing field and provide a concrete example of a reference platform for developers that may not have access to the hardware or firmware infrastructure to create iBeacon devices for themselves". However, Shumay also noted, "It's certainly possible to deploy these beacons in a production environment as well for simple applications in retail, automation, or security".
The beacons retail for $49.99 CDN and are available in a variety of colours via iotdesignshop.com. A minimized production version of the beacon is scheduled for release in April 2014 to allow developers to streamline their production deployments. The production beacons will be firmware-compatible with the Development Kit beacon so that all research and work done against the kit can be directly deployed to production.
Previously, the IoT Design Shop also announced the ConnectionMaker Indoor Location System which is currently being field-tested for a Summer 2014 launch.

The app update also includes several bug fixes and enhancements. Along with the acclaimed support for most remote desktop standards including VNC, RDP, Screen Sharing, SSH and Telnet.
On Macs, setup is ultra-simple using the optional RemoterFusion app. Port-forwarding and/or dynamic DNS is no longer needed in order to establish connections from outside the computer's network. This also provides sound redirection, which allows listening to music tracks, or any sound playing remotely on the computer from the iOS device. RemoterFusion is included 100% free with Remoter Pro.
Local session set-up is simple, all the computers from the WiFi network are found using both the Bonjour and NetBIOS standards. The user then taps on the desired connection, and all queried information such as computer name, IP address, service port, and more auto-populates the set-up screen. The user then only needs to enter the VNC password to complete setup. A button labeled "Advanced"; reveals many useful advanced options, like color depth, server scaling setting, compression level and more.
The RDP support allows connecting to Windows computers that include an RDP server (Remote Desktop Protocol). This allows connecting to these machines without having to install a server, as is the case with VNC. Even the new Windows 8 Consumer Preview is supported!
Via the SSH function, the app allows users to establish secure and tunneled VNC, or RDP connections to their computer desktop. This also gives users the ability of establishing terminal connections to any SSH server. Featuring full terminal control, including special keys such as Control, Alt, F1-F14. Terminal support implements font foreground and background color, a terminal buffer, and clicking. SSH authentication includes both passwords and private/public key support. A fully featured SSH Key manager allows users to create SSH keys using RSA or DSA. Passphrases can also be set, and independent SSH keys can be used for each SSH session.
Remoter Pro gives users the ability of create up to five TCP tunnels (via SSH). The tunnels can then be accessed while the app is in the background by any other app on the iOS device. Providing a VPN connection to the SSH server. Background connections can stay active for a full ten minutes.
The Telnet function enables users to connect to server computers using the Telnet protocol. Like with SSH, the app provides full color support, a terminal buffer, and special keys.
Both SSH and Telnet allow for selection of text which is then synchronized with the device's pasteboard, and can then be pasted within the application, or into any other app.
The app features a connection selection interface that is controlled by swiping on the iOS device to graphically select the desired connection. On the iPad, a wholly new interface, which features a grid of servers that can be filtered is presented. A "Session Selection" screen is also available. This option presents a list view of all available connections. Sessions can be sorted by name, type or usage.
Wake-on-LAN support is also built-in, when the server session is setup using Bonjour or NetBIOS, the MAC address is automatically populated. Otherwise the field is provided to allow the user to populate it manually. Wake-on-LAN can then be sent either from the main screen of the app, or via the session selection screen.
Macros can also be created and run. Macro support is included for VNC, RDP, SSH and Telnet sessions, and a Macros manager allows for renaming and deleting of existing macros.
The app is extremely configurable, in the "Remoter Config" screen users can select from a variety of options to best suit their needs. Options such as trackpad type and acceleration, visual clicks, international keyboard support for OS X are included.
While connected to a server, the app supports both landscape and portrait mode, full-screen mode, different pre-set zoom levels, along with a smooth pinch-to-zoom interface. Pasteboard synchronization is also supported for all connection modes. Full external keyboard support, either USB or Bluetooth is also provided.

On Macs, setup is ultra-simple using the optional RemoterFusion app. Port-forwarding and/or dynamic DNS is no longer needed in order to establish connections from outside the computer'
Local session set-up is simple, all the computers from the WiFi network are found using both the Bonjour and NetBIOS standards. The user then taps on the desired connection, and all queried information such as computer name, IP address, service port, and more auto-populates the set-up screen. The user then only needs to enter the VNC password to complete setup. A button labeled "Advanced"

Users can watch as the app adapts its graphical scenarios as well as the characters' humor to follow actual weather conditions such as rain, wind, snow, thunderstorms or just the sun shining on a beautiful day.
Also available is the option to share an image on Facebook depicting the current character on top of different sceneries and conditions with an added comic style bubble containing the users' chosen words.
Weather Chum will be available for all iPad, iPod and iPhone on the Apple AppStore on February 20th 2014 for $0.99. An Android version will be available as well in March 2014.

Lexington, Kentucky - Horse Races Now, LLC announced an agreement today with Am West Entertainment to showcase live racing video from the Dubai World Cup Carnival (DWCC) on its app, Horse Races Now.
The live video will be available in the palm of the user's hand on iPhones, iPads, iPod touch and Android devices worldwide. The highly successful races are held at Meydan Racecourse in the UAE.
The first race is scheduled for Thursday, February 20, 2014 and will include all live Meydan race meetings leading up to the concluding Dubai World Cup, now in its 11th running.
