Am now in business, folks, and thanks to you all for hanging in there with me. Back on wifi! Took Comcast rep to come to the house and note equipment was "bad". Exchanged one piece of equip for two! No longer got Comcast router and Motorola modem. Outdated, was told. Now just have one piece (xfinity) which carries modem and router. Rep left me without working printer though. Said he couldn't re-configure what was once with there with working printer. Whaaaaa? So got to wait for school tech to finish job when retuning from the week's winter break! Am not a popular member in the house! Grrrrrr!

How was your printer connected before?
Is it a network printer? wired? wi-fi?

Am guessing a network printer, bj. 2 computers share it. But then again, computers have "wires" to printer. And no one uses wifi except me and I've never tried to print from my ipod. Remember, bj, you're dealing here a non-tech brain here. Lol. How do I tell before looking it up on Google? Lol. And thanks for asking. .

Not Outdated, just Motorola exited the business. Personally, I don't like a router modem combo. More to go wrong and shut you down.
