The new version lets you define a hotkey to instantly search for matching snippets while you are typing. Finding good, short and still unique abbreviations can be a challenge, in particular, when you have hundreds of similar items. Typinator's new suggestion feature helps you find snippets as you type them. Just type a part of the abbreviation or a word that occurs in the expansion, followed by the custom keyboard shortcut for the new "Suggest Abbreviation" feature. Typinator immediately comes to help by displaying a list of all matching items and allowing you to choose the item you need.

Besides this major new feature, Typinator 5.8 comes with many other improvements. It now offers new AppleEvents to enable third-party utilities to define new snippets, and offers improvements in the Registration window to avoid misunderstandings with correctly registered licenses. On Mavericks, Typinator shows a clearer message at the bottom of the window when it does not have "Accessibility" permissions, works around a cursor positioning problem, and improves positioning of the QuickSearch input field and result list. Typinator 5.8 also improves compatibility with many third-party applications like Lotus Notes, MS Word, LiveCode, PowerMail, Firestorm, Linguist, TextSoap, and others.

In the "Listen with WordWinks" menu option, Ms. Rubin reads the story aloud as a narrator might, at a moderate pace and with emphasized expression. Character voices are read by actors. When the text turns from black to red, the narrator pauses and reads the question or comment in a normal tone of voice. Montevideo, Uruguay - Independent developer, Santiago Berreta today is proud to announce the release of Bomb Survivor 1.6, an update to his fun-to-play game title for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch devices. Bomb Survivor is a simple playing, casual game, with lots of action. Gameplay is easy, you just need to run and jump, and try to avoid the bombs and mines, so to reach the end of each level where you escape in a helicopter. Planes whistle through the sky dropping missiles and bombs, and you have to avoid them. The floor is full of mines, and you should jump them.

There are eighteen levels spread in six missions (and more to come). Each level has different enemies, scenarios, and difficulty. There are also friendly planes who throw health apples in a parachute, if you catch them you get extra health boost. As simple as it sounds, the game creates some kind of addiction and brings out a feeling of need to survive each level and move to the next one.

"With Bomb Survivor, I tried to create a simple playing game while packing it with lots of action and so open the game play for a general public, from kids to not so kids audience" explained Santiago Berreta - the developer. "I believe the game proves to be easy and fun to play while keeping you from too complex scenarios" he added.

In each level you are awarded with coins; later this coins can be used to buy different uniforms and each of this uniform will give you a different health boost to play. Therefore, if you are stuck in one level, you may get one of these uniforms to help you complete the level.

From within the game you can submit the scores and achievements to Game Center, so you can compete with your friends (and everyone) to see who completes more missions or scores more points. It also provides a simple way to post your results to Twitter and Facebook. In the options screen you can enable and disable sound effects and music, as Twitter and Facebook posting.
