Taking observational data that describes a problem, system, or process, Insights constructs a working mathematical model. Compatible with data stored in a variety of popular formats (i.e. Microsoft Excel), Insights has AI-powered modeling algorithms that allow users to easily extract new and useful knowledge to support decision-making. Users can develop predictive models and model ensembles, along with a prediction interval from low to high-dimensional noisy data, of up to several hundreds of input variables. Insights can create a validated optimal complex analytical model that can be applied and exported to Excel for further analysis.
Since complex, fuzzy, or very noisy processes are hard to model and predict by known parametric modeling and data mining technologies, Insights features Similar Patterns self-organizing technology. Similar Patterns can be seen as a sequential pattern recognition method that predicts and qualitatively explains fuzzy processes inherently. This method is based on the assumption that every most recent period of time (reference pattern) of a given multi-dimensional time process has one or more analogous periods in history (similar patterns). If so, a forecast of the reference pattern can be obtained by transforming the known continuations of the similar patterns in history into continuations of the present state of the process. This means the observed process itself is used to forecast its most recent state by a nonparametric approach.
The Similar Patterns method implemented in Insights utilizes an inductive, self-organizing modeling approach and an advanced selection procedure to make it applicable to evolutionary (non-stationary) time processes. As a result, this unique modeling technology allows forecasting of complex time processes, such as market prices, market demand, or sales figures instantly.

Since complex, fuzzy, or very noisy processes are hard to model and predict by known parametric modeling and data mining technologies, Insights features Similar Patterns self-organizing technology. Similar Patterns can be seen as a sequential pattern recognition method that predicts and qualitatively explains fuzzy processes inherently. This method is based on the assumption that every most recent period of time (reference pattern) of a given multi-dimensional time process has one or more analogous periods in history (similar patterns). If so, a forecast of the reference pattern can be obtained by transforming the known continuations of the similar patterns in history into continuations of the present state of the process. This means the observed process itself is used to forecast its most recent state by a nonparametric approach.
The Similar Patterns method implemented in Insights utilizes an inductive, self-organizing modeling approach and an advanced selection procedure to make it applicable to evolutionary (non-stationary) time processes. As a result, this unique modeling technology allows forecasting of complex time processes, such as market prices, market demand, or sales figures instantly.

View and Set Event Locations on a Map:
Event mapping provides several new features to Perspectiva. View the location of an Event on a map, or drop a pin on the map to set an event location. Locations can be street addresses, if online and available, or coordinates. Pins for multiple event locations can be placed on the map. Map pin annotations include the event title, date and time, and street address or coordinate. View directions in the Maps app. The user's current street address or coordinate can be used to create events. Event mapping is an optional In-App Purchase add-on.
Create Events From Contacts, Including Map Addresses:
Events can be created by selecting a contact in user's Contacts database on the iPad or iPhone, or enter a contact name as the event location and Perspectiva will automatically lookup the street address from Contacts and place a pin on the map.
Create Custom Graphic Calendars:
Create sophisticated calendar graphics with a custom background image and color, fonts, font colors, transparency, and variations of the user's calendar colors. Select background images from the photo library, a set of built-in background textures and landscapes, or take a new photo using the camera on the iPad, iPhone or iPod touch. Create custom calendar images for media, business, school or home. All views support hi-resolution Retina(TM) displays, and are printable via AirPrint to AirPrint compatible printers.
Share Calendar Events, Graphics, Charts and Listings:
Tap an event for quick access to sharing via Mail, Message, Twitter, Facebook, Sina Weibo, and other functions such as Copy, Edit and View. Double tap an event for quick access to the editor. Event listings in text, CSV, and TSV format. Share or export calendar and chart graphics in PDF format via e-mail.
Time Management, Usage Charts and Calculations:
Use Perspectiva's pie, bar and line charts to present time usage for a set of calendars (projects, clients, or activities). Line charts display how time use is distributed for selected calendars over a span of time, such as a week, month or year, or a custom time range.
For time billing, Perspectiva provides time calculations and event logs, including total hours, total owed, number of events and total amount, minimum, maximum and average duration, based on user's filter and calculation settings, including rate per hour. Copy and paste event logs with time/billing calculations into user reports or e-mails, or export logs as CSV or TSV files for use in database or spreadsheet apps.
Calendar Filtering:
Perspectiva's unique custom filter lets users easily choose a set of calendars, a date range, and a text search. The filter works with the calendar, list, chart and calculations views, and for event log exports. The flexible filtering provides for time analysis and calculations.
Intuitive Calendar Navigation:
Touch gestures navigate day, week and month calendar views. Navigation actions are animated to clarify the direction, such as swipe gestures to previous and next calendar views, and zooming in and out to smaller or larger time frames. Perspectiva displays the iPad/iPhone/Mac OS X Calendar event database and supports display of Google, Yahoo, Microsoft Exchange, Microsoft Hotmail, Aol., CalDAV and subscription calendars.

Amsterdam, Netherlands - AssistiveWare and Acapela Group are proud to unveil the first ever genuine, natural-sounding bilingual American Spanish-English children's Text to Speech voices at the annual Assistive Technology Industry Association conference in Orlando, Florida. Co-developed by Acapela Group, AssistiveWare, and Tobii Technology, these bilingual voices are now available in AssistiveWare's Proloquo4Text 1.1 text-based communication iOS app that gives a voice to people who cannot speak, AssistiveWare's Pictello 2.1 visual story-telling iOS app, and in Infovox iVox 4 for Mac. With Infovox iVox, these new voices can be used with any Mac app that supports Text to Speech.
According to the US Census Bureau, there are over 50 million Hispanics in the United States. This includes over 8.5 million children between 5 and 17 years old that speak Spanish at home. About 80% of these children are bilingual, speaking Spanish at home and English at school.
The new bilingual children's voices are designed for Spanish and English speaking children in Latin America and the USA, including the estimated 110 to 130 thousand bilingual Spanish-English children in the United States who cannot rely on their natural speech to meet their daily communication needs. For the first time, not only will they be able to speak with a Text to Speech voice that matches their age but also use the exact same voice when speaking Spanish and English. The new Spanish-English children voices, Emilio and Valeria, were recorded by and for children.
"There is a huge demand for genuine children's Text to Speech voices," founder and CEO of AssistiveWare, David Niemeijer said, "This is exemplified by the fact that the American English Children's voices released by Acapela Group and AssistiveWare in June 2012 have already been downloaded 28 thousand times."
The new bilingual children's voices are such an important breakthrough for Spanish speaking children across the Americas that AssistiveWare and Tobii Technology are not keeping these voices reserved for their own products. After July 2014, the new bilingual American Spanish-English children voices will be available for licensing by Acapela Group to other developers to utilize in their apps and communication devices, allowing even more children to access programs with voices that resemble their own.

Seattle, Washington - FileMaker, Inc. has just published a success story featuring SeedCode's sync engine: GoZync. The case study highlights the synchronized iPad solution SeedCode built for Blueprint Capital. Blueprint is one of the largest residential construction lenders in Seattle and their whole lending practice is run from a FileMaker solution named Blueprint Connect(TM).
Blueprint's mobile app uses GoZync to synchronize construction inspections. Each of Blueprint's active projects needs to be inspected every month; inspectors log the builder's progress against the projects' line items and take photos of the work. These are then synced back to Blueprint's office so borrowers can take draws against their loans in proportion to the work completed so far.
GoZync manages the data transfer during synchronization and ensures that inspectors in the field know--for certain--that their entries have been successfully pushed to Blueprint's server. GoZync is a bolt-on utility from SeedCode which can be added to any FileMaker Go solution to enable offline use and synchronization.
"Blueprint has devoted a couple pages of their annual report to their strategic investment in this software and we are very proud of our work here." Says SeedCode's John Sindelar. "We've built other mobile apps for Blueprint, including one managers use to get an overview of project finances, but we're most proud of the inspections app as it has helped take a very time-sensitive and high pressure part of Blueprint's workflow and turn it into something much more routine."
This software replaced a paper system where inspections arrived in several large boxes and had to be keyed in during these marathon transcription sessions that were both stressful and prone to error.
Inspecting over 100 of these projects happens over just a few days and a customized version of GoMaps helps inspectors know which properties they have yet to visit. Images of site plans and renderings are pulled down to the iPad so folks can orient themselves on new projects, some of which may have barely broken ground when they arrive.
The GoZync-Powered inspection app offers the following capabilities:
* Syncs a subset of properties to be inspected down to the inspectors' iPads: only active projects with funds outstanding are inspected.
* Photos, site-plans, and any new notes from the finance team come down to the iPad as well.

With the last update, version 1.4, we changed the speed value in the shop after players buy at least one speed upgrade. If you want to crank the speed now to do some power leveling, you can. This update also allows for more control over the speed, so you can back it down when the need for careful steps are required. With update 1.6, the game now has added quality options in the settings for "High" or "Low" settings for better performance on lower devices. Lots of small fixes were made to the game as well, including a bigger area for button to be clicked for users of the game that have a very small device to work with.
And hopefully, also to gain as much loot - and save as much as the landscape - as possible.
Throughout the game, the 8-bit retro graphics set the tone for gamers young and old, but especially those who were lucky enough to experience games on older systems. Loot Hero also is a great introduction to that gaming style for those who haven't previously been exposed to it. Gaining an appreciation for the older style leads to further appreciation of the newer.
More than 20 enemies and bosses throughout the game will keep you, the Loot Hero, on your toes while defeating the dragon and saving the precious land and villages that are unfortunate enough to get in his fire-breathing way.
As with classic RPGs, the player starts with little skill and items, and acquires more as gameplay continues. This creates a more intermediate gameplay, too, as the player achieves more throughout the game and keeps their eyes on the prize: tons of loot and defeat of the dragon!

The game is constantly getting upgraded and expanded to meet the needs of new players and dedicated players.
"With this update, we hoped to expand our user base to include those who hold onto their older devices a little longer than others," said developer Daniel Hjelm. "We recognize that Loot Hero can appeal to many age groups and demographics, especially with the retro graphic design, and making it as widely available as possible is just as important to us as it is to our users."
With the last update, version 1.4, we changed the speed value in the shop after players buy at least one speed upgrade. If you want to crank the speed now to do some power leveling, you can. This update also allows for more control over the speed, so you can back it down when the need for careful steps are required. With update 1.6, the game now has added quality options in the settings for "High" or "Low" settings for better performance on lower devices. Lots of small fixes were made to the game as well, including a bigger area for button to be clicked for users of the game that have a very small device to work with.
And hopefully, also to gain as much loot - and save as much as the landscape - as possible.
Throughout the game, the 8-bit retro graphics set the tone for gamers young and old, but especially those who were lucky enough to experience games on older systems. Loot Hero also is a great introduction to that gaming style for those who haven't previously been exposed to it. Gaining an appreciation for the older style leads to further appreciation of the newer.
More than 20 enemies and bosses throughout the game will keep you, the Loot Hero, on your toes while defeating the dragon and saving the precious land and villages that are unfortunate enough to get in his fire-breathing way.
As with classic RPGs, the player starts with little skill and items, and acquires more as gameplay continues. This creates a more intermediate gameplay, too, as the player achieves more throughout the game and keeps their eyes on the prize: tons of loot and defeat of the dragon!

Audio Memos has a simple and clear, user-friendly interface. You can easily use it during conferences, exhibitions, interviews, lectures, business meetings. There is an option to email your recordings instantly. Audio Memos has iCloud support. An application lock code is also available within the app. The app is available in 10 different languages.
Audio Memos allows you to record in high quality. There are three levels of quality - 11 kHz, 22 kHz and 44.1 kHz - from which the user can choose. You can record on your iOS device even when it is in sleep-mode. All recordings are stored on your device but can easily be transferred via iTunes or a simple web browser.
This update brings a lot of new features. New sorting options were added to this version. The security of stored memos has been improved. Memos are now stored using iOS data protection. The application is now even more adapted for blind users, as the controls won't animate and move for VoiceOver users. You can easily erase a section of a memo by simply highlighting a region to erase and confirm.

It includes features like voice activated recording, audio insertion & trimming, position markers, volume meter & boost and more. Audio Memos has three different versions, the first one is free with limited features, the second one costs 0.99 USD with in app purchases and the third one is sold at 9.99 USD (all features).
Audio Memos has a simple and clear, user-friendly interface. You can easily use it during conferences, exhibitions, interviews, lectures, business meetings. There is an option to email your recordings instantly. Audio Memos has iCloud support. An application lock code is also available within the app. The app is available in 10 different languages.
Audio Memos allows you to record in high quality. There are three levels of quality - 11 kHz, 22 kHz and 44.1 kHz - from which the user can choose. You can record on your iOS device even when it is in sleep-mode. All recordings are stored on your device but can easily be transferred via iTunes or a simple web browser.
This update brings a lot of new features. New sorting options were added to this version. The security of stored memos has been improved. Memos are now stored using iOS data protection. The application is now even more adapted for blind users, as the controls won't animate and move for VoiceOver users. You can easily erase a section of a memo by simply highlighting a region to erase and confirm.
