Hi:
It's an iPhone 4 with a Speck case. The external rechargeable backup battery
to charge my iPhone is by IP3G Power Station.
I can google for them as another member stated, but I wondered if anyone had
experience with a particular external battery attachment to make the 2
connect better. Thanks for any help or suggestions!
Rachel,
What brand and model external batter charger? Are you speaking of a wall
wart or external battery, that will charge your iPhone?
Which case? Which iPhone?

What brand of battery adaptor do you have? I've always used the Mophie battery charger. It's a battery and a case all in one.

But I want to let him have a browser, but with some controls like restricting sites.
right now it's on or off for safari.
and if I let him download apps he could just use opera
Does anyone have suggestions?

Re: iPhone 4 won't sync.

Reinstalling iTunes had no effect. After many, many tries, I finally determined that iTunes was crashing on syncing videos in the folder where I store photos. These were videos created on the phone, not imported. They gave synced just fine many times. But, starting last Sunday, they will no longer sync. If I uncheck the box for "sync videos" on the photos tab, my phone will sync.
SO, I'm back in business with syncing, but without my videos. Has anyone else heard of this problem?
Regards,
Leti

What you need to do (I got this info from an apple tech about it) go into your security software and enable the iTunes add on (it should be under enabling apps or exceptions). Once you do that reboot your computer and it should work just fine after that. It worked great for my iPhone and I haven't had any problems syncing since than.

Yes, rice is the answer. Just Me: I hadn't thought of replacing the sim. Good advice. Although I ask, why not turn the phone on before replacing the sim? The old sim may work fine.

Re: Remembering Password

I had almost the same problem. My iPhone and iPad would forget wifi passwords when I turned the wifi setting on either device off. I'd have to put in the password again. I finally realized after 3-4 times of this the iPhone and iPad remembered it. Don't know why and have not heard of others having the problem.

I've never figured out what instagram does either. I see it built in to a lot of apps. Is it another app to cut and paste things you want to read later to?
