The product is used by many professional and hobby photographers for correcting photo shooting date information and has long been known to post-production and digital media producers for its ability to change Finder attributes, such as file creation and modification dates, hidden flags, labels and more. The new version adds the ability to adjust EXIF timestamps in all commonly used Canon RAW file formats.

A Better Finder Attributes has long been known to post-production and digital media producers for its ability to change Finder attributes, such as file creation and modification dates, hidden flags, labels and legacy creator and type codes. Its ability of visualizing and removing hidden files has also been much appreciated by practitioners in those domains.
Recent releases have brought it to a larger audience of digital photography amateurs and professionals by adding the ability to batch adjust the Exchangeable Image File (EXIF) time and date that JPEG pictures were shot to compensate for time zone errors or incorrectly set camera clocks.
Digital photographers also frequently leverage its ability to set the creation and modification dates of digital photo files to their actual shooting date to obtain proper chronological sorting in the Finder. Furthermore, professional photographers who use multiple cameras to cover the same event use A Better Finder Attributes to compensate for discrepancies in the internal clocks of their cameras.
A Better Finder Attributes can be used as a stand-alone application or straight from the Finder using either the contextual menu or a hot key. It can be integrated into existing workflows by creating droplets which automatically apply their stored settings. A Better Finder Attributes supports reading time stamps from a wide range of RAW camera formats (including Canon, Nikon, Olympus, DNG and many others) and can write EXIF timestamps in JPEG, CR2, CRW & CIFF image files.

London, UK - Everdow today is pleased to introduce EverdowFinance 1.0 for iOS, their new Finance app that allows users to easily manage their personal finances. Featuring streamlined input of income and expense items, the app displays all information in both text and graphic formats. By rotating the iOS device from portrait to landscape orientation, the user can view the alphanumeric financial information as a color-coded, bar graph or pie chart. ED-Finance is an ideal solution for conveniently accessing both the details and an overview of personal finances.
On launch in portrait orientation, the app defaults to the Home window, which displays a fullscreen pie chart. The pie chart consists of only two parts: all income items are represented by the entire circle in green, while expense items are seen as one red slice of the pie. This view summarizes expenses as a percentage of income, and provides an immediate picture of how much of income is remaining. Touching either the red or green areas of the chart displays the exact dollar amount represented.
Directly below the chart is a large button labeled New. Touching this button opens the income and expense input dialog. Here, the user can make entries in various categories via the DatePicker selector. Income categories include: Salary, Bonus, Investment, and Miscellaneous. Expense categories on the rotating wheel include: Clothes, Food, Household, Travel, Medical, Insurance, Study, Entertainment, Communication, Sports, Music, Film, Baby, Pet, Electronics, Car, and Miscellaneous. In addition, there is a text field available for adding a note to any item.
ED-Finance includes two additional windows: Transactions and History. From the Transactions window the user can view a scrolling list of the month's expense and income items grouped by date with the most recent transactions at the top of the list. Categories and notes appear, and red numbers signify an expense, with green numbers as income. Here, the user may review, delete, or edit all transactions for the present month. A summary of all expenses, color-coded by category, can be seen in the bar graph displayed by changing to the landscape view.
The History window is the same in all respects to the Transactions window, except the scrolling list includes only financial data from previous months. Rotating the iOS device displays a bar graph summary of all expenses for the chosen month with each different bar a different color/category. Here, the user can evaluate their expenditures category by category, displayed as a percentage of total expenditures per month.

After each question, characters are eliminated from the board, and the first player to correctly guess wins.
Barcelona, Spain - JanduSoft today is pleased to announce Guess the Character 1.0 available for the Mac or iPad, their game of logic and observation created especially for fathers to play with their children. Based on the famous "Guess Who?" board game, Guess the Character challenges 1 or 2 players to determine which one of 24 different cartoon character faces is the opponent's (in the single player game, the computer or mobile device acts as the player's opponent). This is done by process of elimination, choosing something to ask from a list of yes-or-no questions, such as, "Do you wear eyeglasses?" After each question is answered, characters are eliminated from the board, and the first player to correctly guess the opponent's character wins.
The gameboard consists of a 6 x 4 grid of tiles, each picturing a cartoon character face. At the start of each game, the player can choose to be any of the 24 characters. Playing by turns, each player has an opportunity to ask 1 of 5 questions from a list presented at the start of their turn. Having chosen their question, the game confirms the player's selection by re-stating the question in a dialog box with two buttons: Ask or Cancel. Once the player decides to ask the question, the game responds immediately with a red "X" flashing over the face of each character eliminated as a result of the new information contained in the answer. Accompanying sound effects add drama to the gameplay, as players must touch each blinking red "X" to officially eliminate that character.
When the opponent has their turn, the player sees neither the question asked, nor the characters removed. However, a small display in the control panel indicates the number of faces eliminated by cutting small tile icons in half. This information can be of strategic value in determining the opponent's progress, so as to adjust the amount of risk the player chooses to assume. For example, if the player knows their opponent has only 2 or 3 tiles remaining, the player may opt to take a wild guess at the character's identity as a calculated risk. Players are free to use the Guess button during any turn, but if their guess is incorrect their turn is over, and only a single face is eliminated.
Guess the Character is an ideal game for fathers to share with their children, as it provides an entertaining and practical context for development of logic skills, traditionally the domain of the male parent. Through practice in separating a group in two, into those that successfully meet the criteria of the logical operation and those that do not, the child's core intellectual faculties are stimulated. The father has an informal opportunity to pass along his preferred mode of thinking to his offspring, while sharing in the wonder of each game's mystery and hard-won solution. And dad may be surprised himself someday, when his son or daughter suggests the uncanny resemblance of one of the cartoon characters to Barack Obama, Albert Einstein, Jay Leno, Jackie Chan, Michael Jackson, or other recognizable face.
