TwitkaFly Facebook plugin now available on Cydia

For those of you who have been highly anticipating Facebook support for TwitkaFly, your wait is officially over.

TwitkaFly has been updated, and along with the update comes a new plugin that lends Facebook support to the formerly Twitter exclusive tweak.

Check out our preview of the new Facebook functionality if you’ve yet to do so. The update to TwitkaFly is free for those who’ve previously purchased it, while the new Facebook plugin will set you back $0.99 on Cydia’s BigBoss repo.

Dashboard X now available on Cydia

Dashboard X, the long awaited jailbreak tweak that allows you to add widgets to your Home screen is now available for download on Cydia, via the ModMyi repo for $1.99.

This tweak allows you to take existing widgets created for Notification Center and position them anywhere on your iPhone or iPad Home screen. On top of that, new widgets are being developed, such as Dashtweet, a Dashboard X widget that allows you to send tweets from anywhere on your Home screen.(...)

iPad to come as standard equipment in 2013 Cadillac XTS

This is kind of cool: Cadillac just announced that all models of its 2013 Cadillac XTS will come standard with a new iPad. The news comes from the car-maker’s head of customer experience Mark Harland, speaking at the CTIA Wireless show.

It appears that Cadillac will be loading up the tablet with all kinds of customized software, including OnStar RemoteLink, MyCadillac, and other vehicle-specific apps…(...)

Sprint’s 4G LTE will be slower than AT&T’s or Verizon’s

As Sprint, the nation’s third-largest carrier, begins its long-overdue nationwide 4G LTE rollout, those keeping their fingers crossed for some crazy fast download speeds on a next-generation 4G LTE iPhone will be in for an unpleasant surprise.

While the carrier will keep unlimited data, whether or not the next iPhone has LTE (and we know the Now Network will be eligible for a 4G LTE iPhone), the handset will theoretically achieve much greater downloads speeds on rival AT&T’s and Verizon’s networks.

Disney CEO Bob Iger, who got named to Apple’s board last year, shares some interesting tidbits with Fortune concerning life at Disney and his management style.

He apparently runs the Mickey Mouse house a lot like late Apple CEO Steve Jobs had used to lead the consumer electronics powerhouse he co-founded.

Iger also let us in on how he’d persuaded Disney’s board of directors to greenlight a risky acquisition of Jobs-owned animation studio Pixar, even though the board was unsure whether Pixar was for sale at the time…(...)
