Of course I did that tho I knew I had it right. Its got to be 5.1.1 is
buggy for others have issues too.

Restore does not touch the firmware. Which makes senmse really.

Seems that jailbreaking (strange term too) is the only way but I will
wait for the fix from Apple.

I was searching for a case and neck strap for the Touch but seems that
the armband may be better suited to my needs. How well do these hold up?

Are the screen protectors just a film that is applied over the screen?
Do they reduce the capacitive function any?

I've had a protector on mine since day #1 (well, within 2 weeks of getting
it). I don't remember the manufacturer off hand, but I haven't had any
issues. I'm glad I have it because my daughter likes playing with the
iPod. :)

No.they work fine. Do not affect the capacitance in any noticeable manner.
