Compatible with the iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch, Rogue Town is an intense 2-D endless runner that lets players step into the stirrups of a rogue on the run! Complete with dark, desolate landscapes, this adventure provides players with addicting gameplay, quick arcade action, and the thrill of the chase as players dodge, leap, and fight their way past obstacles and enemies. Rogue Town is currently available for download in the Apple App Store for free in the Games category.

Rogue Town's gameplay emphasizes quick reflexes and fast trigger fingers. The game gives players control of the rogue, a mysterious loner who's in town long enough to visit the local bank... and out again before the authorities can catch up to him. Players must keep the rogue's speed up by leaping over barriers, ducking under low-hanging obstacles, and gunning down attacking vigilantes. Players use Rogue Town's intuitive tap controls to dodge and fire when obstacles and enemies appear. By keeping the rogue running as long as possible, players can rack up achievements, post their high scores on leaderboards, and collect cash to spend in Rogue Town's store on new vehicles and other upgrades.

Rogue Town includes over 25 achievements that users can attain by running farther, eliminating enemies, and collecting cash along the way. The achievements system and the Game Center leaderboard tie-ins will keep players competing against their friends and their own high scores. Rogue Town's straightforward, fast-paced gameplay and scoring systems are perfect for competition.

Upgrades enhance the variety and rewards of gameplay. As they play, users can collect bags of cash that they can spend in Rogue Town's store on new vehicles, extra lives, and bonus multipliers. Buying motorcycle rides allows players to zip through the landscape, covering a greater distance faster. Players can soar through the game with the glider, collecting money bags as they dive and weave through the sky. Players purchasing resurrection bonuses will be treated to an extra life when they make a mistake, whether by blundering into an obstacle or an attacking enemy. Finally, multipliers will allow players to temporarily double, triple, and quadruple the number of bags they collect when they get a full set of golden bags.

Dark, moody atmospheres and threatening landscapes set the stage in Rogue Town. The rogue will race through open highways, gnarled forests, abandoned carnivals, and desolate cities in his flight from the law. Each new landscape draws the player further into the rogue's escape and into this dark vision of the wild west. Players that can make it far enough will be treated to the rogue's tripped-out dream sequence, a temporary haven of cash and clouds. But they'd better be ready to run again when the rogue's feet hit the ground.

DMV Genius helps individuals, who are applying for their first permit or moving to a new U.S. state, practice to take a Permit Test at the Department of Motor Vehicles.

DMV Genius contains one free 20-question permit practice test for each U.S. state and additional 40-question tests available as an upgrade through an in-app purchase. Each permit practice test was uniquely created for that particular state using that state's official Driver's Manual, and uses the same scoring and grading techniques as DMVs across the country. Because DMV Genius was created directly from the driving manual of each state, questions are similar to those on the actual tests.

When users launch DMV Genius, they are prompted to choose their state. Once a state has been selected, the user is taken to a screen where they may launch the included 20-question test. Users are provided with a detailed summary of all questions at the completion of the test. This summary includes the user's answers, correct answers, hints, and explanations. Users may also purchase 5 additional 40-question state-specific tests to increase the number of practice questions and improve their chances of passing the official test. Users may share their test scores with friends via integrated Facebook and Twitter connectivity.

Questions are arranged with multiple-choice answers. For each multiple choice question there is a hint and an immediate feedback explanation, if a user provides a wrong answer. When a question is answered incorrectly, a detailed explanation is provided explaining why the answer was incorrect, what the correct answer is, and any helpful hints that may apply. For example, for the NY Permit Practice Test, one question is: "When making a turn, the law requires you to signal a turn with your directional lights or hand signals at least: A. 50 feet ahead, B. 25 feet ahead, C. 75 feet ahead, D. 100 feet ahead." Tapping an incorrect response produces the following explanation, "Wrong! Here is why: The law requires you to signal a turn or lane change with your directional lights or hand signals at least 100 feet (30 m) ahead. A good safety tip is to signal your intention to turn before you actually begin braking to make the turn."

Bunny Bazooka is a quirky, arcade-style game in which the user aims and shoots a cartoon bunny from a bazooka to get the bunny to travel the furthest distance possible. The Company wanted to create an easy to play, entertaining app that appealed to a wide audience.

Another feature of Bunny Bazooka is the game's social media integration. Users can compete with friends by instantly sharing their highest scores on Facebook, Twitter, or via email with a touch of a button.

The app uses Bonjour to make setup a cinch, and also features a novel "virtual trackpad" to precisely control of the mouse cursor. Sound redirection, RDP, Telnet and SSH which also allows for secure VNC/RDP over SSH, are also included.

Vestal, New York - Remoter Labs today is pleased to announce the release of Remoter Pro 1.0.1 for iPhone and iPad, an update to their productivity app that enables users to remotely control Macs via Screen Sharing, and Windows or Linux computers using the VNC or RDP standards right from their iOS devices, with full external keyboard support or using a software keyboard. The app uses Bonjour and NetBIOS to make setup a cinch, and it features a novel and highly praised "virtual trackpad" that allows to control the mouse cursor intuitively. RemoterFusion, which provides sound redirection and easy setup, RDP, Telnet and SSH support are also included.

Full support for external keyboards and retina level artwork is included, and the app is 100% compatible with the new iPad.

The app offers one of the fastest implementations of the VNC and RDP protocols on the iOS platform. Operation is intuitive, with a well thought out interface that allows users to either tap on the screen and have taps converted into clicks on the remote system, or use a unique "virtual trackpad" that gives users precise control, and ease of use. A drag or stylus mode on the iPad version is also provided, which gives users the ability of easily dragging items, or drawing on their computers directly from their iPad just by using their fingers or a stylus.

On Macs, setup is ultra-simple using the optional RemoterFusion app. Port-forwarding and/or dynamic DNS is no longer needed in order to establish connections from outside the computer's network. This also provides sound redirection, which allows listening to music tracks, or any sound playing remotely on the computer from the iOS device. RemoterFusion is included 100% free with Remoter Pro.

Otherwise, local session set-up is still simple, all the computers from the WiFi network are found using both the Bonjour and NetBIOS standards. The user then taps on the desired connection, and all queried information such as computer name, IP address, service port, and more auto-populates the set-up screen. The user then only needs to enter the VNC password to complete setup. A button labeled "Advanced" reveals many useful advanced options, like color depth, server scaling setting, compression level and more.

The RDP support allows connecting to Windows computers that include an RDP server (Remote Desktop Protocol). This allows connecting to these machines without having to install a server, as is the case with VNC. Even the new Windows 8 Consumer Preview is supported!

Via the SSH function, the app allows users to establish secure and tunneled VNC, or RDP connections to their computer desktop. This also gives users the ability of establishing terminal connections to any SSH server. Featuring full terminal control, including special keys such as Control, Alt, F1-F14. Terminal support implements font foreground and background color, a terminal buffer, and clicking. SSH authentication includes both passwords and private/public key support. A fully featured SSH Key manager allows users to create SSH keys using RSA or DSA. Passphrases can also be set, and independent SSH keys can be used for each SSH session.

Remoter Pro gives users the ability of create up to five TCP tunnels (via SSH). The tunnels can then be accessed while the app is in the background by any other app on the iOS device. Providing a VPN connection to the SSH server. Background connections can stay active for a full ten minutes.

The Telnet function enables users to connect to server computers using the Telnet protocol. Like with SSH, the app provides full color support, a terminal buffer, and special keys.

Both SSH and Telnet allow for selection of text which is then synchronized with the device's pasteboard, and can then be pasted within the application, or into any other app.

The app features a connection selection interface that is controlled by swiping on the iOS device to graphically select the desired connection. On the iPad, a wholly new interface, which features a grid of servers that can be filtered is presented. A "Session Selection" screen is also available. This option presents a list view of all available connections. Sessions can be sorted by name, type or usage.

Wake-on-LAN support is also built-in, when the server session is setup using Bonjour or NetBIOS, the MAC address is automatically populated. Otherwise the field is provided to allow the user to populate it manually. Wake-on-LAN can then be sent either from the main screen of the app, or via the session selection screen.

Macros can also be created and run. Macro support is included for VNC, RDP, SSH and Telnet sessions, and a Macros manager allows for renaming and deleting of existing macros.

The app is extremely configurable, in the "Remoter Config" screen users can select from a variety of options to best suit their needs. Options such as trackpad type and acceleration, visual clicks, international keyboard support for OS X are included.

While connected to a server, the app supports both landscape and portrait mode, full-screen mode, different pre-set zoom levels, along with a smooth pinch-to-zoom interface. Pasteboard synchronization is also supported for all connection modes. Full external keyboard support, either USB or Bluetooth is also provided.

Already creating several successful apps and app development companies, Mureta laid out the groundwork on turning a passion into an app.

That inspiration affected many to get started, including body hacking health enthusiast Matt Dizon. Dizon immediately starting putting together the idea for a weight loss app in order to enter the contest, but primarily did so over striking eureka on how to package a creative way to combine science and technology into a winning mobile app for iPhone and Android based smartphones that can put a new tool into the hands of those struggling with weight loss.

While the ability to utilize brain waves and frequencies is still evolving, the method to deliver them to a mobile device via app made perfect sense to new founded app developer Dizon. "It was like a ton of bricks hit me after reading Chad's insightful article", said Dizon. "I finally had found a way to package the ability to lose weight via sound frequencies, as nearly everyone has or will soon have a smartphone in their hand, it was perfect sense to pursue this," he went on to say.

An interesting concept, Dizon stated final ongoing approval for use is now awaiting and app development has begun with an intended release on September 11, 2012.

However, interested users can head online as Dizon and team have already created an informational website and personal insight from test trial subjects who are using the technology in pre-app form, along with further explanation on how DietOrb will work for weight loss. A mind alerting tool for weight loss? Seems there will be an app for that also in the coming months.

This on top of more standard features to be expected from any premium sports app such as live match stats and commentary or team formations.

Given the wealth of information, extra care had to be put into design of the app, ensuring it's not overwhelming and easy to navigate. "This approach seems to resonate well with our users, as within two days of the release we managed to hit Top 10 Sports chart here in the UK and up to Top 3 internationally" added Kotecki.
