Books vs. Music

Hi, I'm new to the group and I wondered if I could ask about a problem that
I'm having. I download quite a few books to iTunes and my iPod from the
Library. I then listen to them while I'm on the road and I share them with
my father-in-law who has macular degeneration. Sometimes iTunes places
these Books into books area at the top left under Library but sometimes
iTunes puts them in Music. Having them in Music it is often difficult to
organize them. For instance all of the Track 1's for all chapters in the
book can be placed together. Finding the right track for a chapter would
be time-consuming. I can never tell when I start copying a book how iTunes
will treat the information. Anyone have any information about how I could
better control this?
Thanks!
Steve

Steve
If you right click on the chapters and select "Get Info" the last tab you can change it from Music to audiobook, this will also move it over to the audiobooks. You may also need to change it to remember position, or it will restart at the beginning of the chapter.

I see where there's the .mp4, mp3 or .wav at the end of the information of
each section when I 'get info'. I don't think I get about how to change
that when downloading a book. Would I do that when I enter the library
disk I want to copy?
