Just for your information - the "DO NOT DISTURB" service in india is pretty efficient. Telemarketing calls have stopped completely in the last six months and texts are limited to one in two days. Surprising in a country where rules are observed mainly in their breach.

Just remember, any time you fill out a form to win something, like at the fair or wherever, read the fine print first. Sometimes the fine print will say that you are allowing them to call you.

Make that 99.9% of the time you are adding your name to a list allowing yourself to be solicited. They don't do it out of the goodness of their hearts.

I don't usually enter contests at fairs and such because I usually get on a list. I do the Zagg.com contests when I like what they're giving away. For a couple months, they were giving away an iPad a day. After that it was a kindle fire a day. Zagg seems to be a good company. Quite a few people I know have bought their iPhone and iPad products. This month they're giving away your choice of a PS3, Xbo, Wii or PlayStation Vita. I'm not interested in any go them.

glad you found the iPhone photos. if the photos taken with the other app
aren't in the same folder the i can't help you any farther. i suggest you
either contact the app publisher or e-mail the photos to yourself.

I do not know what DXPLORE is and see no reference to it. I have used your
method though to find the pictures taken with iPhone's native Camera app
with Windows Explorer (I must drill down several folders though). In a
folder labeled 860OKMZ0 I found the photos taken with the Camera app but I
cannot find those taken with the optional Camera+ app. All of my NY
vacation photos are there.

Camera+ should be saving to your iPhone camera roll. It does on my iPhone. I just have to remember to save the photos every time I take a picture using it.

PDF text cut off

Hi,
I downloaded a free PDF book, DRAGON HUNTERS, THE - Robert Paisley.
When I read it on the iPad, on many pages, the text is partially cut off probably because there wasn't enough top and bottom margin.
I have Acrobat 9.5.1 but so far I don't see where it can fix the problem.
Suggestions for a fix would be appreciated.

If you are talking about Adobe Reader, there is a version 10.2.0 that was
released on April 10. I use Goodreader but it is not free.

No I meant Acrobat Pro 9.5.1 Can't afford to upgrade to version 10.

I went back and tried GoodReader again and you're right it doesn't cut off the text.
I was able to import the PDF into Pages, clean it up and then print it to a new PDF.

Brent, GoodReader is a great app. It does so much more than just read books. I've used it since it first came out. I have it linked to Dropbox box.net, iCloud, my gmail email and both my iMac and Air. Nice :-)
