Restaurant and Food Vocab app added to ODW's Chinese Learning Range - Published on 12/21/12

OnDemandWorld announces Chinese Food Restaurant Menu Vocab List 2.0, a special version of its popular Chinese language learning app that focuses on teaching students restaurant and food vocab. "Chinese Food Restaurant Menu Vocab List" makes great use of built-in audio tools to improve pronunciation. London, United Kingdom - OnDemandWorld is pleased to announce the release of Chinese Food Restaurant Menu Vocab List 2.0, a special version of its popular Chinese language learning app that focuses on teaching students restaurant and food vocab. "Chinese Food Restaurant Menu Vocab List" makes great use of built-in audio tools to improve pronunciation. It caters for both students and tourists who need to make themselves understood in restaurants.
"When developing the Audio translations files, we used native Mandarin Chinese speakers to help make sure this app is of maximum value to anyone learning Chinese. It's an ideal app if you want your pronunciation to be as strong as your knowledge of the vocabulary" said Edward Tsang, producer of the app.
Tsang promised, "this app is just one update among many we are making to our Chinese learning apps. I'm especially excited about the addition of social sharing and the fact that we will soon have updated the entire Vocab List series with new student-friendly features."
The app translates between English and Chinese giving both the Simplified and Traditional versions of the written translations. It also builds self-learning tools into the app, with students able to hide and show columns of text they are testing themselves on.
