Mirye Software announces Chunk Base 1.2, the free 3d archetype toon character that you can use in your 3d artwork or animation. Chunk Base includes the core male character Chunk, plus accessories. Version 1.2 adds free female toon character, Ms Chunk, with 3D accessories including beehive hair, muumuu and bathroom slippers for use with Poser, DAZ Studio, and with bridging software, Photoshop and most 3D software packages.
Beaverton, Oregon - Mirye Software announces the release of Chunk (tm) Base 1.2, the free 3d archetype toon character that you can use in your 3d artwork or animation.
In addition to Chunk Base and the Mister Chunk character set, Chunk Base 1.2 adds the additional Chunk character Ms Chunk. More than an add-on for Chunk Base, Ms Chunk includes expanded geometry, textures and accessories. Ms Chunk is based on a classic cartoon character type, expressed fully in 3d. Ms Chunk includes:
* Revised Geometry. Using Chunk Base, geometry was revised to create a character with a uniquely feminine shape and form
* Updated Morphs. All of Chunk Base morph dials are present in Ms Chunk, with some slight modifications to bring the entire Chunk family of models. This includes 38 general face morphs, 15 ear morphs, 23 eye morphs, phoneme morphs and more
* New Textures. Ms Chunk includes a revised texture set that brings Ms Chunk to life
* New Props. Ms Chunk includes beehive hair, muumuu dress and bathroom slippers
Chunk Base, Mister Chunk and Ms Chunk are available in .cr2 format, the native format used by Smith Micro Poser and DAZ 3D's DAZ Studio. Both applications are available on Mac OS X and Windows. With the PoserFusion drivers included with Poser Pro, it is possible to host static and animated characters in other applications, including Photoshop, 3D Studio MAX, Maya and Cinema 4D. PoserFusion is also natively supported by Mirye Software's Shade 3D modeling, rendering and animation suite, as well as e-on software's Vue natural scenery software. DAZ Studio supports DAZ Bridge, which allows DAZ scenes to be hosted in Photoshop, Bryce and Carrara.
Chunk Base is the underlying framework for Toon Santa(tm) the original 3d Santa Claus from Meshbox Design. Toon Santa is a licensed character that has appeared in the Denver airport, on airline commercials and even on the New York Stock Exchange. Toon Santa has also been a part of the NORAD Tracks Santa project, supported by NORAD and also with the help of supporting organizations, including Meshbox Design and Mirye Software. Beaverton, Oregon - Mirye Software announces the release of Chunk (tm) Base 1.2, the free 3d archetype toon character that you can use in your 3d artwork or animation.
In addition to Chunk Base and the Mister Chunk character set, Chunk Base 1.2 adds the additional Chunk character Ms Chunk. More than an add-on for Chunk Base, Ms Chunk includes expanded geometry, textures and accessories. Ms Chunk is based on a classic cartoon character type, expressed fully in 3d. Ms Chunk includes:
* Revised Geometry. Using Chunk Base, geometry was revised to create a character with a uniquely feminine shape and form
* Updated Morphs. All of Chunk Base morph dials are present in Ms Chunk, with some slight modifications to bring the entire Chunk family of models. This includes 38 general face morphs, 15 ear morphs, 23 eye morphs, phoneme morphs and more
* New Textures. Ms Chunk includes a revised texture set that brings Ms Chunk to life
* New Props. Ms Chunk includes beehive hair, muumuu dress and bathroom slippers
Chunk Base, Mister Chunk and Ms Chunk are available in .cr2 format, the native format used by Smith Micro Poser and DAZ 3D's DAZ Studio. Both applications are available on Mac OS X and Windows. With the PoserFusion drivers included with Poser Pro, it is possible to host static and animated characters in other applications, including Photoshop, 3D Studio MAX, Maya and Cinema 4D. PoserFusion is also natively supported by Mirye Software's Shade 3D modeling, rendering and animation suite, as well as e-on software's Vue natural scenery software. DAZ Studio supports DAZ Bridge, which allows DAZ scenes to be hosted in Photoshop, Bryce and Carrara.
Chunk Base is the underlying framework for Toon Santa(tm) the original 3d Santa Claus from Meshbox Design. Toon Santa is a licensed character that has appeared in the Denver airport, on airline commercials and even on the New York Stock Exchange. Eat Sheep is a top down puzzle/strategy game for iOS iPad devices. Navigate your monster around the levels in Eat Sheep while reducing the world's sheep population. You do this by consuming Sheep, Rams, and Mammoth hybrids! The player gains wool throughout the game which you are able to unlock new monsters, upgrade their abilities and trade wool for cookies which the monster can perform their special ability.
Wool may be purchased with real world money to advance the player at a faster rate.
Game Story:
Sheep were bred at record rates in the early 60's after a direct relationship was realized between getting a good night sleep and the amount of sheep in the world.
With the ability to count sheep into the thousands people were getting more sleep then they could ever dream of. Sheep were bred and bred strong. Many sheep had to survive in the desert, winter tundra, and in farms around the world. Basically anywhere there was room, sheep were bred.
Unfortunately this has gotten out of control and there is now an over abundance of sheep, endangering productivity of humanity. This has also provided a surplus of warm wool sweater and blankets. As every wants to be warm while they sleep.
To help fight this epidemic of Sheep, Monsters have been released into the wild to reduce the sheep population in a last ditch effort by local secret organizations. Of course monsters need to eat sheep to stay awake themselves.
Though some evil sheep wranglers from around the world, which have benefited from the over population, are determined to stop the monsters from eating the sheep.

In a last ditch effort by local secret organizations, Monsters have been released into the wild to reduce the sheep population. Navigate your monster through 60 hand created levels consuming sheep, gaining wool, upgrading your monster and of course, saving the world. Players unlock new monsters, upgrade their abilities and trade wool for cookies which the monster can perform their special ability.
Geneva, Illinois - CG Cookie, Inc today is pleased to announce its first internal studio game project called Eat Sheep for the iPad. Other devices and OS are in development. Eat Sheep is built with the Unity Game engine and all 3D assets were created using Blender. An open source 3D application.
Eat Sheep is a top down puzzle/strategy game for iOS iPad devices. Navigate your monster around the levels in Eat Sheep while reducing the world's sheep population. You do this by consuming Sheep, Rams, and Mammoth hybrids! The player gains wool throughout the game which you are able to unlock new monsters, upgrade their abilities and trade wool for cookies which the monster can perform their special ability.
Wool may be purchased with real world money to advance the player at a faster rate.
Game Story:
Sheep were bred at record rates in the early 60's after a direct relationship was realized between getting a good night sleep and the amount of sheep in the world.
With the ability to count sheep into the thousands people were getting more sleep then they could ever dream of. Sheep were bred and bred strong. Many sheep had to survive in the desert, winter tundra, and in farms around the world. Basically anywhere there was room, sheep were bred.
Unfortunately this has gotten out of control and there is now an over abundance of sheep, endangering productivity of humanity. This has also provided a surplus of warm wool sweater and blankets. As every wants to be warm while they sleep.
To help fight this epidemic of Sheep, Monsters have been released into the wild to reduce the sheep population in a last ditch effort by local secret organizations. Of course monsters need to eat sheep to stay awake themselves.
Though some evil sheep wranglers from around the world, which have benefited from the over population, are determined to stop the monsters from eating the sheep.

Fireflux announces GemPulse for iPhone, a unique puzzle game with never before seen, thought provoking mechanics. Players of GemPulse must quickly build chains of like-colored Gems to create a large circuit. The player will then detonate the circuit, awarding points to move on to the next level. Race against the clock to build the largest circuit, then blow it up! The goal of GemPulse is to reach a target score before the timer elapses. Each level consists of one white gem & an array of others.
Chico, California - Fireflux today is pleased to announce the release of GemPulse for iPhone, a unique puzzle game with never before seen, thought provoking mechanics. Players of GemPulse must quickly build chains of like-colored Gems to create a large circuit. The player will then detonate the circuit, awarding points to move on to the next level. Race against the clock to build the largest circuit, then blow it up!
The goal of GemPulse is to reach a target score before the timer elapses. Each level consists of one white gem and an array of other colored gems. A pulse begins at the white gem and travels outward, creating a chain to like-colored gems. Every third gem in the chain will continue to chain to all adjacent gems, regardless of color. The player replaces gems one at a time to grow the length of the chain, and finally detonates it for points.
Each level in GemPulse represents an 8x8, two-bit picture. A crossbow, a reference to Scorched Earth, and a broken heart are among the many levels to play. Players can earn bronze, silver, or gold medals for completing levels quickly by reaching the target score.
Players must vary their strategy while playing GemPulse. A player can detonate their chain at any time, collecting points for the length of the chain. The longer the chain, the higher the score multiplier will be. Players must balance the detonation of chains against the complexity of the current puzzle in order to best determine when to detonate. Multiple detonations can be performed per level.
