I may give up on BlueGriffon. I just found another free, open source Web site creation tool, and so far I like it better!

Thanks for all the suggestions. I've read the articles on Macworld's site, and Sandvox looked like a possibility, but I found so many things that just didn't work or were too limiting about their templates.

For now, I guess I should realize that what I REALLY need right now is a quick way to share photos I've taken and placed in my iPhoto library. Yesterday it seemed to me that even selecting a group of photos to share from iWeb 09 had been deprecated, but today I can do it, so I may see what happens when i do a trial "deposit" of a few-page site into Dropbox.

I just had another idea. I have a One to One account that I've not used much. I'm going to set up a "help me do this" personal project session with one of their trainers, show them my initial efforts in iWeb, and say to the trainer "OK, now, how do I get these on the web in a way that permits me to set up password-protected access, change the photo content as I massage some of the less than stellar shots, etc. Should be interesting to see what he/she suggests :-)

I reported this to Yahoo for further action and the issue has now

Thanks for your response, Jim. That may be helpful in solving this. Also, note the way your address appears in the quote attribution line below. When you got your copy of that message did that line appear the same way? I'm also sending this response directly to your email address to see how the copies you get from Yahoo and from me may differ.

I just switched from Entourage to Mac Mail.

Folders I have trashed turn into little trash cans (below the regular Trash icon) and don't disappear when I try to get rid of them.

Is there a way to get rid of them?

Click on the little triangle just to the left of the trash can icon, and the ones below it will be hidden.

I went through the steps on this site to figure out how to automate watermarks in Photoshop http://www.photographyblog.com/articles/how_to_create_a_watermark_in_photoshop/2/

Everything was fine until I got to Step 18:

18. Now it's important to test that your action works. Open a different photo and click F11, which should add your copyright instantly. If it adds the copyright watermark you created, you've done it!

F11 on my computer clears the desktop. How can I perform the task they intend for me to do? They give me no indication of what exactly I'm supposed to do.

Thanks for any insight you can provide. I am using CS5.

Best,
Barb

Hi Everyone,

I recently purchased the New Macbook Pro. Every time I turn on my computer my mail opens automatically. It's getting annoying how can I turn it off?
