Cambridge, Massachusetts - Let's Go Publications recently launched its first comprehensive line of mobile apps for the iPhone, iPod touch, and Android. Available for 25 cities, the Let's Go Explore apps feature five short walking tours each to give travelers a taste of their city of choice. Written, designed, and developed entirely by students at Let's Go, the world's leader in student travel, the apps are part of a company-wide initiative to expand Let's Go's digital presence.
"The apps are created for travelers who want to make the most out of a daytrip to a city," said world traveler and Managing Editor Mark Warren. "Fast travelers who are in a city for a short time don't need an entire guidebook - they're looking for the best things to do in a city from someone they trust, and that's exactly what the Let's Go Explore apps provide."
