Puffer Train Games bring Old West to Japan - Published on 12/08/12

Shelly Data Doodles today announces updates to both "Puffer's Train Challenge" and "Puffer's Train Challenge Lite," their popular family-friendly train puzzle games for iPhone and iPod touch. Now available in Japanese, the latest update of these family friendly games provides game play improvements along with authentic images of historic trains and locations from throughout the Old West. Both games play in "Zen mode", a kids friendly format and "Star mode", an online competitive format.
Kent, Washington - iPhone puzzle games "Puffer's Train Challenge" and "Puffer's Train Challenge Lite" are now available for play in Japanese. Version 1.6 brings both improved game play and reduced memory usage to these family friendly games. As players enjoy the games, they will be treated to authentic images of historic trains and locations from throughout the Old West. Those with a sharp eye, might even recognize scenes or locations from some of their favorite Western movies along the way!
Version 1.6 of "Puffer's Train Challenge" and "Puffer's Train Challenge Lite" are the latest updates to the Puffer Train series of family friendly games for the iPhone and iPod touch platform. Available in English, French, German, Spanish and now Japanese, these games provide train puzzles to be solved using either "Zen mode" - a kids friendly format with unlimited moves per puzzle or "Star mode" - an online competitive format where player's scores allow them to earn points, collect bonuses, and open new levels for play. Both games start off simply, but soon grow increasingly complex. As puzzles are solved players will find themselves:
* Bridging rivers
* Tunneling through mountains
* Collecting stray cows
* Arranging tracks to allow Puffer the Locomotive to run
Together with companion game "Puffer Holiday Edition," a festive winter puzzle game, both "Puffer's Train Challenge" and "Puffer's Train Challenge Lite" are fully integrated with Apple's Game Center providing Leaderboards and a range of Achievements to be earned and shared online with friends. Game maker Shelly Data Doodles also provides a free online Player's Forum where puzzlers and gamers from around the world can come together to share tips, tricks, and puzzle solutions with one another.

Stockholm, Sweden - App developer, Wombi today released Wombi Ice Cream, a new kid-friendly application that allows players to build their ideal ice cream sundaes. Designed for ages 4 and up, Wombi Ice Cream allows kids to exercise their culinary creativity without a crazy sugar rush afterwards. This easy-to-use app is available on iPhone, iPad, and iPod and can be purchased in the App Store for $1.99. A free lite version is also available.
Wombi Ice Cream will allow kids ages 4 and up to get creative with their food. The game comes with ample choices of cones, bowls, ice cream flavors, and a slew of toppings. Its variety of options allows a large span of different sundae combinations, and its colorful illustrations and playful gibberish language will keep players engaged.
The game opens up on the side of an ice cream truck with a line of customers - and each of them has a sweet tooth. Each customer requests a special sundae, and the game is designed so the requests are different every time. Next, the player heads to the back of the ice cream truck to concoct the perfect sundae. He or she can choose to stick to the customer's order or deviate from the directions. Afterwards, players get to see what the customer thinks of their creation.
The game's layout is bubbly and colorful. Friendly customers pop by in the forms of smiling elephants, pink lions, and more. As for the sundae creation station, the desserts are easy on the eyes with an array of soft colors, detailed drawings of tasty toppings, and playful shapes.
Wombi Ice Cream is child-friendly because it's fun and simple to use. Sundaes are created simply by clicking and dragging on different bowls, flavors, and toppings. Once the ultimate dessert is completed, the player drags across the screen to return to the customer.
Wombi Ice Cream is also a learning experience. While there is ample room for creativity, it's also an exercise in following directions. Customers will express their satisfaction or dissatisfaction with the flavors and choices of sundae combinations.

Trip planning, and especially packing for trips, can often times be stressful, especially during the Holidays. It seems almost inevitable that something is left behind on any given trip. Trip Packing List solves the challenge of having to remember everything by allowing the user to manage their packing list right on their smart phone.
"Let's say you're planning for an upcoming trip to your parent's house for Christmas, stated Switchback CCO Mark Imperial. "You simply open the app, select which trip you are planning for, and input all the items (clothes, games, toys for the kids, etc.) that you need to bring with you. As you pack each item, just swipe it to mark it off your list."
Switchback Media's intention with Trip Packing List was not to create an overly complex app full of extravagant features. On the contrary, the goal with Trip Packing List was to give the user an easy and straightforward way to organize and manage their packing list for any trips that they may have planned. Think of it as a replacement for the classic pencil and paper list, but kept conveniently on your smartphone or smart device.
The app features a fun design and simple interface, much like Switchback's other two list apps. The user can create multiple lists for different trips and manage each trip simultaneously.

Thessaloniki, Greece - GKB Smart Applications is proud to announce the release of Teezer 1.0, their first free iPhone app. Teezer is an entertaining application for teasing people simply by playing funny sounds. High quality sounds, such as broken glass, screams and burps, can make people feel scared or even embarrassed. The application provides quick access buttons for instant response to every new teasing challenge.
Teezer is very simple to use. The user can play a teasing sound by clicking one of the customizable buttons. On the Edit screen the user can select the number of buttons (varying from 2 to 10) to appear on the main screen and assign one of the available sounds to each one of them. The idea is to play a sound, for example a cloth rip when somebody is about to sit on a chair to make them think that their trousers got ripped, or even a scream in a dark room to scare the people in it. Another prank could be to play a fart sound inside a bus. Everyone will start looking at each other suspiciously.
The sounds available are screams, broken glass, baby crying, space sounds, sneezes, cloth and paper rip, door closing, hiccup and all time classic farts and burps. More sounds will be available in the next release of Teezer , which is expected to be released on January 2013. The application's cool graphics make the user enjoy playing with it.
