Once upon a time there was a small town with quiet and green streets, cozy bright houses and an old park. It is comfortable to live there, but it's no adventures at all. But if you are six and you know how to play - it's another matter. And now it's happened with a small boy Wolfy. As soon as he had moved to our town, the real but small adventure found him. When Wolfy went to the park for launching his paper ship in tortuous streamlets, he got acquainted with a well-known boy Dragon. And Dragon showed his treasure to Wolfy: the Moon and the Stars live on the bottom of the old draw well, which is in the park. Dragon guards them and lets them out every evening. Of course, Wolfy, the same inventive soul and dreamer, saw a twinkling miracle in the deep darkness. And now he helps Dragon to let the Moon and the Stars out to the sky every evening. But when the autumn comes, it's time for a new game. Even though you strongly believe in an old one. The same and Wolfy helps Dragon to believe
that Stars don't need any assistants to go to the sky. But neither Dragon no Wolfy loose anything. Because they have found each other and can invent a lot of fantastic games together. It's a real treasure.
The book will be especially interesting to the little heroes 4 years of age and up, and their parents would be able to participate in their little ones' adventures. The animation and touch-sensitive objects have made the easy to remember illustrations even more interesting: cheerful little clouds are crossing the sky, flowers are blooming in the forest, Dragon will need help to free the little ship, the owl and the raccoon are curious to take a look at the visitors, and the bumblebee is buzzing angrily. The stars are ready to greet the reader, and the reader can try to get the moon from the sky! Dragon and Wolf would love to play with you: help them perform a high jump with a twist - a little scary and breathtaking, but so wonderful!
In addition every page contains background audio which defines a mood of scene and has special function of narrator's reading. User interface of the programme provides an opportunity to choose more comfortable way of acquaintance with the book - you can centre on independent reading and scanning pages, or you can let your book to tell this story for you. You can zoom in text for reducing eye impact, and hide all text menus and navigation bar for the better view. The application supports multi-touch and is a nice outfit for a new iPad!

Each level of Bug Frenzy - Flower Defense consists of different stages of the plant's growth. As players watch the plant grow from its germination, they ward off harmful bugs by tapping them on the screen. However, the player must take care to avoid tapping the friendly bees that appear, as this gives a two second penalty in which the player cannot tap any pests. After each successful stage, the plant grows more and more until it is in full bloom. The player then must defend a friendly bee, trying to pollinate the flower, from the angry hornet that comes to attack. Once this is done successfully, the level is completed. The game consists of a simple tutorial to teach the game's concepts along with 25 levels that increase in difficulty as the gamer goes on, adding larger arenas and more bugs to challenge the player.
While some bugs shrivel and disappear after one tap, more difficult bugs appear as the levels go on. These require the player to tap several times before disappearing. Consequently, more difficult bugs award the player more points and result in a higher score at the level's completion. The score and score multiplier, as well as the best score, can be seen in the upper left hand corner of the screen at all times during the game.
To the right of the score, the amount of clovers the player has earned is shown. Players earn clovers at the end of each completed level if they earn a difficulty or health bonus, based on the difficulty of the level and the health of the plant at the end. Clovers allow players to purchase helpful tools that kill invading bugs. Tools available are the swatter, spray and mega spray, a frog, and a chameleon. These tools are available at increasing prices, with the chameleon the most expensive at 20 clovers. Players are able to work up to purchasing the different tools as they are engaged in the challenge of the game.
A useful pause button in the upper right hand of the game allows players to stop the game if necessary and return at the same point. On the right side of the screen, the player may also view the green progress bar to see how their plant is growing, as well as the red health bar - when full, the plant is at its best health. Different sound options are available in the settings menu; players can choose to play with music and no sound effects, sound effects and no music, both, or no sound at all.
Bug Frenzy - Flower Defense 1.0 features beautifully rendered 3D images, creating a colorfully vivid world of realistic flowers, bugs, and surroundings. The game uses Unreal Engine 3 for Apple devices for its cutting edge visual art. Texas based Carnation Software has released MacWise version 14, an update to its terminal emulation software for Macintosh. MacWise allows a Macintosh to be used as a terminal, connected to a host computer directly, by modem, local area network or over the Internet with telnet or ssh secure shell. The app emulates ADDS Viewpoint, Wyse 50, Wyse 60, Wyse 370, Televideo TV 925, DEC VT100, VT220 and Prism terminals. This new verison is compatible with Mountain Lion installations.
Driftwood, Texas - Carnation Software has released MacWise Version 14 for Macintosh. MacWise terminal emulation software is now compatible with Mountain Lion installations. The installer is backwards compatible to OS X 10.5. A separate installer is provided for the older Tiger OS.
MacWise allows a Macintosh to be used as a terminal, connected to a host computer directly, by modem, local area network or over the Internet with telnet or ssh secure shell. MacWise emulates ADDS Viewpoint, Wyse 50, Wyse 60, Wyse 370, Televideo TV 925, DEC VT100, VT220 and Prism terminals. Supports ANSI and SCO ANSI color. Esprit III color is also supported in Wyse 370 mode. AppleScript is also supported. Works with Intel or PowerPC Macs, MacBooks, Powerbooks and desktops. Connect to the host via serial, modem, telnet, ssh, via the internet or local connection.

This means that you can use the scroll bar to scroll back to previous screens to look at the data or print a scrolled-back page or copy a selection into the clipboard.
AppleScript Support:
MacWise supports AppleScript commands. Many functions of MacWise can be controlled by a script (such as transferring data to and from the host, sending commands to the host and messages to the MacWise user). Scripts compiled as applications can be run from "Run AppleScript" under the Special Menu. For instance, you can write a script to transfer data from the host to a file on your Macintosh and then tell another application to open that file.
