Space Wars HD was created to be unique by gameplay atmosphere. Each character is not a computer driven item with predefined level of strength. Do not consider Space Wars HD as a next simple air hockey touch game. Space Wars HD is not a hockey game. You have to crash the field of one of the 7 different mooded enemies otherwise you'll be crashed by them. The goal is to crash 'em all! and understand the riddle of level 8.

Texas-based game development company, DM Applications has launched Joey's Quest 1.1, a very fun and clever puzzle/strategy game for iOS. Little Joey has wandered away from Mama! He's gone to collect gold for her but now you need to help him get home. The game will amuse both children and adults with its many challenges up through all levels. There are 3 level packs in Joey's Quest with each pack containing 10 levels, so there are 30 levels in all.
The Woodlands, Texas - DM Applications (2011) has launched a very fun and clever puzzle/strategy game "Joey's Quest". The game will amuse both children and adults with its many challenges up through all levels. There are 3 level packs in Joey's Quest with each pack containing 10 levels, so there are 30 levels in all. Each level takes about 2 minutes long to play, which is perfect when you have a few brief moments to spare, but don't want to be bored.
The company created Joey's Quest based on maze code that they had, and rewrote the code to make it more fun. The idea developed that kangaroos were cute and were thought that they would have broad appeal to a wide range of audiences. The game is free as of August 7, 2012.
The story line for Joey's Quest goes something like this, "Little Joey has wandered away from Mama! He's gone to collect gold for her but now you need to help him get home! But watch out for the bad guys! Along the way, Joey could run into any of these creatures: a wonambi, dingos, a thylacine, marsupial lion, mean cats, wedge-tailed eagle, a crocodile or a big bad kangaroo complete with boxing gloves who could knock him out and steal his nuggets! And then there is the really bad monkey! Just as Joey's about to get a nugget, the monkey throws them somewhere else! Good grief!
So use the joystick to help Joey get safely home to Mama with lots of gold nuggets and bars!"

The company created Joey's Quest based on maze code that they had, and rewrote the code to make it more fun. The idea developed that kangaroos were cute and were thought that they would have broad appeal to a wide range of audiences. The game is free as of August 7, 2012.
The story line for Joey's Quest goes something like this, "Little Joey has wandered away from Mama! He's gone to collect gold for her but now you need to help him get home! But watch out for the bad guys! Along the way, Joey could run into any of these creatures: a wonambi, dingos, a thylacine, marsupial lion, mean cats, wedge-tailed eagle, a crocodile or a big bad kangaroo complete with boxing gloves who could knock him out and steal his nuggets! And then there is the really bad monkey! Just as Joey's about to get a nugget, the monkey throws them somewhere else! Good grief!
So use the joystick to help Joey get safely home to Mama with lots of gold nuggets and bars!"

The free downloadable lesson plans include language arts exercises to teach compound and complex sentence writing. The activities were designed by Cyndie Sebourn, a National Board Certified Teacher, who specializes in Common Core State Standards-aligned curriculum for educational apps.
Lisa Holland, a speech/language pathologist with a specialty in reading/writing/literacy at Puckett Elementary School in Amarillo, Texas, presented Brush of Truth to 80 educators at the Texas Panhandle Literary Institute in July 2012.
"Brush of Truth is a great app for all upper elementary students, especially for struggling readers, who need the motivation of being able to choose where the story goes," Holland said. "It reinforces reading, following a narrative structure, and comprehension. It is great that it is not a one-time use app....there are 20 endings. Brush of Truth keeps students engaged because they want to discover all of the different places and directions where the story can go."
Laviolette, a New Orleans native, is a former columnist and editor for The Times-Picayune. She currently lives in Fort Lauderdale, Fl., where she contributes to The Miami Herald, South Florida Sun-Sentinel, South Florida Parenting and more than 30 regional parenting publications in the U.S. and Canada. Story Bayou, founded in 2011, partnered with Linxter, Inc., a Cooper City software engineering company, to create the mobile app. Brush of Truth was released in February 2012.

Brush of Truth recently won the 2012 Media of the Year award in the Interactive Book App category in Creative Child Magazine's Creative Toy Awards. Brush of Truth, geared to third- through sixth-graders, is the first book app created by Story Bayou, a mom's vision to get tweens to read, www.storybayou.

Classic Solitaire HD looks and feels just like the old game, which has been enjoyed by so many for so long, but it contains high resolution cards carefully redrawn for Retina displays. All the game graphics were re-created manually to match the original, and the game features standard and Vegas scoring, one-card-draw or three-card-draw, and timed and untimed gameplay.

For solitaire players, Classic Solitaire HD is a nostalgic, retro homage to what is likely the card game played on more personal computers than any other. But besides the green felt card table, and the deck picturing a sun drenched tropical scene on the back of each card, the game recaptures something else. And that is the utility and simplicity of the original's design. There is nothing extraneous in game mechanics or graphical design. It is, in a sense, pure solitaire.
Of course, the graphics are startlingly realistic, especially when held up beside a standard computer monitor. The very high resolution, wide color gamut, and bright, saturated colors all contribute to the added enjoyment of playing this Klondike Solitaire on an iDevice, particularly the New iPad. Touch control allows more fluid gameplay and higher scores. The game accommodates both standard and Las Vegas scoring, and gamers can compete against themselves in timed or untimed play. Operational in either portrait or landscape orientation, Classic Solitaire HD also offers the choice between one-card or three-card draws.
Among the improvements in version 0.14 are special "mini-cards," especially crafted for small mobile displays. These cards feature very large numbers and letters on the card face, making identification on smaller screens easier.
