First, players can choose the difficulty by selecting to play on a gameboard with bubbles of 4, 5, or 6 different colors. Running up big scores and moving through the levels get more difficult with more colors. Currently, the global 4-color high score is 576,128; the global 5-color high score is 496,163; and the global 6-color high score is 450,280.
The second feature that distinguishes Bubbles Popper is that there is no game clock or timer. Free of any time pressure, players can relax and make more intelligent moves based on strategic planning. Third, the game offers unlimited take backs without any penalty. This helps players refine their skills, and the cluster of bubbles unpopped remains highlighted to help the player better visualize their previous move.
Fourth, each level of play requires that an additional 15 bubbles be popped to advance to the next level. On a gameboard of 300 bubbles, Level 1 requires a minimum of 210 bubbles popped to go to Level 2 (225 min.) and Level 3 (240 min.), etc. Players who have met the minimum requirement do not move to the next level until no further matches remain, allowing them to score additional points before advancing.
Fifth, Bubbles Popper rewards players for popping large numbers of bubbles simultaneously, rather than over several moves. For example, popping two clusters of four bubbles each scores 24 points (2x12=24), while popping one cluster of eightandrey bubbles scores 56 points. The scoring system is based on an arithmetic progression that heavily rewards the largest clusters of bubbles popped at once. The scoring system is constructed as follows: 2 bubbles simultaneously=2 points; 3/3 pts; 4/12pts; 5/20 pts; 10/90 pts; 15/210 pts; 20/380 pts; 25/600 pts., etc.

You can jump right into the game from the main screen and be taken straight to the first round of pictures. In the psyches of the patients, players will be attacked by their phobias, which they battle in mini-games that serve as pleasant distractions from the main adventure. All of the characters are exceptionally brilliant: a painter, a musician, a scientist, a businessman, and others, each with their own bright mind, full of surprises and puzzles. Besides, every subconscious world has its own style: the programmer's universe is portrayed as pixel art; the professor's mind is inhabited solely by formulas; the 'real' world is inspired by David Lynch's Twin Peaks.

The Making of Tower Zoo:
Tower Zoo was conceived by Rick Skinner, a high school mathematics teacher, at Sir Tim Berners-Lee's former school. "Pupils were finding how many times they could connect 3 or more cubes on a given grid size. When each link was replaced with a taller tower, it became evident that the tallest possible stack was 5 high.
The idea developed into a two player turn-based game. I then discovered that changing the shape of the boards created a different game experience while maintaining the core concept. I created dozens of different boards and enhanced them further with 3 special 'power' squares (Bonus, Pitfall and Perimeter).
As a long line started to form at the teacher�s desk, it became apparent a fun and original strategy game had been discovered. At this point I arranged a meeting with Jan Heuff from MiniWorldGames. He recognized its potential for touch-screen devices and shared my vision of bringing it to the App Store. Since then we are in almost daily communication and have a healthy collaborative relationship focused on delivering the best game possible.
Back at school, the kids love the game and have followed its progress every step of the way. They have witnessed it grow from a simple block game into a full-scale iOS release. They are never short of opinions and have contributed a number of great ideas. The school also has a special Internet-history, boasting Sir Tim Berners-Lee (inventor of the Internet) as a former pupil. Students have tested the tutorial, played beta versions, generated art work, made video reviews, and critiqued the music. Schools are an excellent place for honest opinion and intelligent feedback. There's no better way to test a game than by giving it to tech-savvy teenage gamers."
