A good way to check out the electrical outlets on an airplane is to go to www.seatguru.com. You can look up the airplane that you are considering flying on, and check out the location (if any) of outlets, along with other characteristics of various seats. That may allow you to both choose a flight with the outlets, plus choose a seat that has access to them. (You have to find out the particular airplane being used on the flights that you are considering.)
Hope this helps

OOH big difference!
Yes, I'm sure that outer right! It must've been Watts.

I use my iPhone as a hot spot all the time. You are not using bandwidth unless you have an app running in the background like mail.
I turn the hotspot off when not using it because it will drain your battery real quick.

This has been happening occasionally during the last few months but has stepped up the last few days.
These are the recent empty messages in my Trash folder:
http://www.tinyuploads.com/images/Nh0xne.jpg
If these are truly empty -- no header, etc. (I compared these to a "real" message in TextEdit) -- how do they make their way into my mailbox? What identifies them as email messages?
Thanks,
Dave

A while ago, I got some help from Apple Care regarding Apple TV. They set up something so that I know have a Double Nat reading (whatever the heck that is). I got instructions from my service provider to remove the Double Nat. However, the instructions are for games, so I don't know what option to choose when I get to the Applications section. Airport Extreme is not one of the options.
I'm thinking of choosing "all" for the category, but I have a couple of choices that I think might work for the applications. Here are some examples:
remotely possible server
remote anywhere
directTV receiver
[SMTP, POP, FTP] server
There are other options as well. Apple Care told me to contact my service provider, but my service provider can't seem to help with the options to choose.
Any suggestions?
Apple TV keeps cutting out on me, and I suspect this might be the issue.

Try opening Airport Utility on your computer, choose the AP Extreme, click Double Nat & choose Ignore. If that doesn't help, you will have to ask your service provider to disable the wireless signal on their modem.

Yes, that's mine!
I contacted Apple Care, but he said he wasn't aware of that problem. But then when we tried to restore my Apple TV, we couldn't. I now have to head to the Genius Bar to see what they can do.
Thanks for your help.

I wanted to add a new folder to the sidebar in finder and I dragged its icon to the sidebar and it was automatically placed at the bottom.
All my finder sidebar list is in alphabetical order so i clicked on the new item and began to drag it up to place it in alpha order. I could not do it.
OSX would only let me place at the bottom. Any suggestions?

there just no way to view DRM iBooks other than to have to fork out money for a tablet? I've tried reading DRM restricted iBooks on my iPhone4, but they always cause problems. I had to completely wipe the iPhone and restore manually to remove a free iBook that would not open on the iPhone4.
This is not about books in general, I am only talking about DRM restricted iBooks sold at the Apple Store. I have no problem reading Kindle books, or Amazon books on my iPhone4, but the iBook experience on my iPhone4 was ridiculous.
Why the heck will Apple not allow us to read these books on an iMac screen? We've paid $ for these computers, why won't Apple allow us to read their books on them?

I read iBooks on my iPhone 4 all the time. Works great for me. In fact, we have my iPhone 4 (mine) and a iPad (wife's) both connected to separate iTunes accounts using one MacBook Pro. Works great for us. Maybe the books we have purchased are not DRM restricted books. I don't know. All I do know is that when I purchase a book from the app store I can then place in on either or both devices using iTunes.

That's an excellent question, Jurgen, but I'm not sure because I have no documentation for it. That was version 1.0.2, which is quite old. I have now found that I also have Elements 9, which came with both Windows and Mac DVDs, which I purchased before I caved in and purchased Photoshop CS5. I think I'll remove the old version and install the newer one and see how that works re: plug-ins.
Thanks,
...............Mike
