It definitely makes sense to keep an active shopping list directly on the iPhone! All week long new items can be added via the app. After all, the iPhone is always handy. There is no more ketchup, we are out of noodles, and the kids want more chips! No problem: there is no easier, faster or more convenient way to include everything on the weekly shopping list.
Establishing a shopping list, by utilizing the available shopping assistants, generally includes the following problem: it only works on ONE iPhone. Family and friends do not have the option to add items to the list, or to pass on a last minute shopping request to the person in the supermarket.
Share&Shopping, the new iPhone app, finally does it right. Several people are able to install the app on their devices and share a common list, without having to perform a time-consuming registration. Lists are synchronized with each other via their own server, and backed up in the iCloud. As soon as a member of the group changes or adds an item, everybody else's shopping lists will be automatically updated. A great feature: a push alert keeps everyone up-to-date regarding any new entries.
Share&Shopping: 1,000 products to quickly generate a list:
Creating a new shopping list and adding items to it is more than easy. The app comes equipped with an integrated list of over 1,000 products. Simply entering the letters "Sa" in the app will result in being presented with products like "Salami", "Salad", "Salt" or "Sardines";, to choose from. Establishing even the most extensive shopping list will be a piece of cake - so to speak.
When doing the actual shopping a short swipe to the right checks off a product as "bought". A second swipe pushes the entry out of the visible area and deletes it.
Incidentally, the entire shopping list may be send out by e-mail, posted on Twitter and Facebook, printed via AirPrint or send as an SMS to another cell phone.
Bernhard Harrer says, "Automatically synchronizing a shopping list with multiple iPhones is the missing feature, which will help this kind of app to achieve a breakthrough. Never before has digital shopping been more comfortable, than with Share&Shopping."
