Easy to use application to visualize time,
People with autism struggle to make sense of intervals creating a problem that makes organization and knowing when the next event will take place difficult to understand. Many people with autism struggle with phrases such as "soon" or "not long" these words carry no meaning and can create great confusion at times of heightened anxiety. Although we have learned to measure it, time is intangible; we cannot see it.
Many people with Autistic Spectrum Disorder and throughout the spectrum of learning disabilities have difficulties understanding the difference between "now" and "not now" and time measurements such as "5 minutes". This is where the importance of making a time a basic visualization comes in. By removing the traditional clock system and making an easy to understand format.
Activity Timer is a visual representation of the intervals between activities, a timer can be set which resembles half of a traditional clock face, but without the numbers. When the timer finishes it arrives at a photographic representation of the activity. Whoever takes the photo can then set the length of time until the next activity, and do this as many times as they wish throughout the day.

Players must avoid boulders, fallen trees, bees, etc., and they must use strategy and speed to level up. The Ninja must cut trees carefully to save nests and avoid bee stings.

Its new sidescroller where players control a New Age Ninja who skilfully downs trees for timber with a chain saw, while protecting the surrounding wildlife. The objective of the game is to collect all of butterflies, birds' nests, ladybugs, and the golden sword. Players must avoid boulders, fallen trees, bees, reindeer, snakes, eagles, and hawks, and they must use strategy and speed to level up. Completely free of violence, the Ninja must cut trees carefully to save nests and avoid bee stings.

* Sidescroller includes L/R controller and Jump controller
* Players collect butterflies, birds' nests, ladybugs, and the golden sword using touch control

Featuring realistic graphics and animation, Tree Ninja includes a Left/Right movement controller on the lower left, and a Jump controller on the lower right. Players collect objects using touch control. The chain saw is also operated using touch control, by swiping with the right thumb.
With the game timer running, players are challenged to chop down trees by starting with the branches first and then cutting into the trunk, which helps the Ninja avoid being stung by bees and attacked by birds. Vertical swipes of the chain saw remove the branches, and then quick horizontal swipes across the tree's bottom and top avoid accidentally cutting through a bee's nest.
The Ninja's energy bar increases by collecting ladybugs, butterflies, and birds' nests. The Ninja loses energy by being attacked by birds or bees, by hitting rocks and stumps of fallen trees, and by running into snakes or bumping into reindeer.
The game features changes in weather. By blowing on the iDevice, the rain stops, the clouds disappear, and the weather becomes sunny again. Also adding realism to gameplay are sound effects of animals and chain saws.
"Armed with a chainsaw, new age Ninja fights against the elements of the earth and overcomes nature's obstacles," commented Athanasia Papos. "Defeating wild weather, Tree Ninja strategically averts from harming animals with precise and quick chopping of trees. Avoiding the birds and the bees which are making his mission impossible."

"This project has been a really innovative mix of both local and national talent brought together by very solid game mechanics," said John Warren, Minicore Studios CEO and Founder. "Tumblewords offers a unique mix of artfulness, simplicity, and engagement that no other word game offers."
The app has a collection of unique custom designs made specifically for Tumble Words by notable artists KC Green, Liza Ferneyhough, and (coming soon in a new art pack) Chris Onstad.
"Early on we had the idea of doing one background with Liza Ferneyhough, a painter in the Bay Area. Soon that turned into two backgrounds," said Warren regarding the continual creation of great new backdrops in the app. "The art went from being a background element to a real selling point for the game in just a few months."
In Tumblewords, players find words on the board and utilize letters in their hand to switch with the board letters. The game gets more challenging with the tumbling mechanic, where the board shifts placement after every turn. Every 50 points, users can Power Up to change, flip, or shuffle letters on the board. The game features both solo and paired play, so users can play alone or with a friend.
Players can make words in an endless combinations of letters next to each other, but unlike many games, there are no diagonal moves. "We feel like Tumblewords would be far less challenging if you had the option to move diagonally." Warren explains. "This especially shines in two-player scenarios where long words give your opponent less room on the board to make similarly impressive plays - there is real strategy when you're up against a human opponent."

Austin based Minicore Studios LLC today announces Tumblewords 1.1 for iOS, its interactive app that combines classic word game features with social functions and hi-def graphics. Players find words on the board and utilize letters in their hand to switch with the board letters. The game features endless word-making possibilities and a host of adorable visual themes. The game gets more challenging with the tumbling mechanic, where the board shifts placement after every turn.
Austin, Texas - Tumblewords, a new word game developed by Minicore Studios LLC, officially launched this week in the iTunes App Store. The game features endless word-making possibilities and a host of adorable visual themes. Users can enjoy the game solo, or with a friend.
"This project has been a really innovative mix of both local and national talent brought together by very solid game mechanics," said John Warren, Minicore Studios CEO and Founder. "Tumblewords offers a unique mix of artfulness, simplicity, and engagement that no other word game offers."
The app has a collection of unique custom designs made specifically for Tumble Words by notable artists KC Green, Liza Ferneyhough, and (coming soon in a new art pack) Chris Onstad.

In Tumblewords, players find words on the board and utilize letters in their hand to switch with the board letters. The game gets more challenging with the tumbling mechanic, where the board shifts placement after every turn. Every 50 points, users can Power Up to change, flip, or shuffle letters on the board. The game features both solo and paired play, so users can play alone or with a friend.
Players can make words in an endless combinations of letters next to each other, but unlike many games, there are no diagonal moves. "We feel like Tumblewords would be far less challenging if you had the option to move diagonally." Warren explains. "This especially shines in two-player scenarios where long words give your opponent less room on the board to make similarly impressive plays - there is real strategy when you're up against a human opponent."
