Hello:

All I wanna do is download iBooks to my iPhone 4 (running the latest version
of the OS.)

Whenever I try, I keep getting the dialog box that says, ³Cannot connect to
iTunes Store.² No other explanation, no clues on what to do to remedy the
situation.

Can anybody help?

I have received this message in the past, but only temporarily. Unfortunately, I don't know why. Just sharing.

Cheers,
tod

I've also received the message. I usually reboot the phone simply because it can't hurt anything.

Have you reset your network connection recently? You can do that by either power cycling the iPhone or better yet, resetting it through Settings.

Settings/ General/ Reset/ Reset Network Settings

If that does not work, it may be necessary to do the downloads when you have a good WiFi connection. I know that I can not download most audio books over cellular data, but have to use WiFi or sync with my computer.

You might want to update your signature. 10.8 is now available, and there are a lot of people using everything from 10.4 to 10.8.3.

Go to your Accounts preference pane and select the account you want to change and change it from there. Conceivably you might have also to change the password of your keychain also, and you can do that with Keychain Access in your /Applications/Utilities folder.

Tom,

You sent the post to me and the list.

I'm the other Brent, not the moderator.

Nice job of hijacking someone else's thread.

Anyone notice that if you select and drag several items (all pdfs) to my desktop Burn Folder that the Burn command (or Burn icon) returns a message that it does not recognize 2-3 of the aliased items? Yet, if I drag files, one at a time to the Burn folder ALL are recognized?

Or is that just my machine?
