Perdrix TXT is a plain text e-book reader offering an experience close to the real book. In Perdrix TXT, the readers can turn pages in a realistic fashion, use the intuitive "book edgeways" indicator to see where they are or skip to a different place, and use a personalized bookmark like a real one.
"There's always a feel of where the current page is in a book", said developer Claude Labelle. "On the iPad in landscape (2-page) mode, the reader can tell if the bookmark is before or after the current page".

Readers can touch a page without fear of buttons popping up. Even the search feature is in its own screen, so it doesn't interfere with the book itself." said Labelle.
