The AppZapp Infographic Shows Price Reductions for Paid Apps! - Published on 02/22/13
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
AppZapp 4.6.1 provides the necessary overview of the iTunes App Store. Every single day, the app reveals what apps are new in the store, which of them were just marked down in price and those that are completely free. The AppZapp team has carefully anaylzied the data of the years 2010 to 2012 and built it into an infographic. These show the rules by which the prices roll into the App Store and what the expected wait times are for the first price reduction.
Munchenstein, Germany - For many years, AppZapp has been the best deal saver for all app lovers. Every day, the information service shows which iPhone and iPad apps are new in the App Store, which of them are currently reduced in price, and which are offered completely free of charge for a short period of time.
Sascha Brenk, CEO of ConIT AG: "AppZapp finds hundreds of discounts every day, which is why we decided to evaluate these numbers statistically. We wanted to know what the average time is till the price of apps drop, or become entirely free. Our evaluation was very suprising. We were able to establish many credible statements. In conclusion, it is worth waiting to purchace an app, because in most cases the price will be reduced significantly sooner or later."
The results of the evaluation have now been merged in a simple infographic. Here are all the key points at glance:
* 40 percent of all paid apps for the iPhone and the iPad will be reduced in price sooner or later. At some point 60 percent of these apps will even be completely free.
* The price of games falls the fastest. After only 83 days of their first publication, the games will be on sale. The photo and video apps take an average of 85 days for the price to sink, while the Weather apps take 93 days.
* The navigation apps take an exceptionally long time to be reduced in price. It takes an average of up to 177 days, until the price of a new app is lowered. The travel apps take 156 days and the reference apps 141.
The most popular apps in the App Store are games. Our conclusions here are the following:
* 2 out of 3 games apps are paid apps
* 9 out of 10 games will have a price reduction
* Every fourth Pay game will eventually be offered free of charge
* In the popular development studios, up to 100 percent of the games will be reduced in price or offered free of charge at some point
The infographic can be made public by the press and blogs, and is free of charge. Please place a source note with link: "Infographic of AppZapp, www.appzapp.net".
Language Support:
English, Chinese, French, German, Italian, Japanese, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish, Turkish
Device Requirements:
* iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch
* Requires iOS 4.3 or later
* 9.5 MB

Mysia Games introduces Pigs don't fly 1.0 - Game for all Platforms - Published on 02/23/13
IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Mysia Games today introduces Pigs don't fly 1.0, its new game for iOS, Android and Amazon devices. Based on a story about a superhero pig, play the role of Sir Pork Chop who goes off to be a crusader for the oppressed and downtrodden. Get the superhero back home. With more than 30 challenging levels in total, help Sir Pork Chop navigate through the treacherous mountain trails and the unknown and frightening underground cave world of Bacon Mountain.
Manchester, Connecticut - Mysia Games today is proud to announce Pigs don't fly 1.0, a new iOS, Android and Amazon based game on their website. This is one of many games that this group of mobile game developers will be putting out to all mobile markets. The "Pigs don't fly" game is based on a story about a superhero pig, Sir Pork Chop III, King of Bacon Mountain who gets his superpowers by touching some mysterious rock that falls from the sky. Sir Pork Chop goes off to be a crusader for the oppressed and downtrodden, leaving his home and kingdom to his son. After a while Sir Pork Chop realizes his powers are waning and he has to find the crystals before the universe is destroyed.
The aim of the game is to get the superhero back home, help him navigate through the treacherous mountain trails and the unknown and frightening underground cave world of Bacon Mountain until he gets to the magical crystals. Players need to keep our superhero's super abilities from waning so he can complete the journey, save Planet Popcorn and the universe.
A pig is an unlikely hero but then we've seen dogs, cats, pandas, monkeys; even turtles take on the mantle. There is no reason why a hero pig should be inconceivable. The guys at Mysia take the gaming concept further by actually providing a story so as you run, leap and fly to take Sir Pork Chop to another level of his epic life and story.
Sir Pork Chop is an accidental hero with flaws and a gamer will appreciate the ability to leap from mountain to mountain, go over volcanoes, go to the highest mountain peak only to descend to the deepest depths. There are 30 levels in total and they are all challenging. All mobile gamers only had Angry Birds to play on their devices now they have something more interesting. It is already creating a buzz on Facebook with over a thousand people liking it in just a few weeks of its release and there is already a twitter following from people who had seen the game on YouTube or downloaded the "limited time only" offer on mobile.
All mobile gamers have been accused with loving free stuff but then in this day and age who doesn't. The best games are the ones that translate well between age groups, Angry Bird managed to do this being popular for both young and old. You don't have to like pigs to fall in love with Mysia's virtually free gaming app; "Pigs don't fly" to enjoy endless hours of clicking to get the superhero pig to jump, fly and do whatever to get to the crystals. Going by how fun it is to pay the game the guys at Mysia must be bursting out of the seams to give the android, Amazon and iOS world more fun.
Mysia, a site run by a passionate group of people solely dedicated to the development and creation of entertainment application that run on mobile devices, have come up with an innovative game Pigs Don't Fly available for download for $0.99.
