I change track names & disc/track #s in the 'getinfo' window. But mainly I
organize-for-listening by using a *lot* of playlists for things like this
that I want to be sure play "in order" and continuous from one track to the
next, whether it's music, audiobooks, or podcasts -- which may not even be
from the same source/album/etc.

Subject: [the_ipod_group] IPOD classic audio book question

I listen to audiobooks on my IPOD, I have ITUNES 11.01. when I load my
audiobooks anything other than the ones that come from audible, ( Mp3-
files) I have always put them in playback so they play one chapter after
another, but now they don't go from one chapter to the next, and when I look
in the classic window it says 1 of 1 instead of 1 of 12 or what ever. Its
not a BIG problem but one that I can't figure out what I am doing wrong so
that the books don't play continuously. I like to play them when working
and having to stop and start again is a pain.

thanks so much for any help anyone can give. Sandy

I think I solved the problem by simply making sure name of album is
exactly the same and that they are in order. we shall see.

thanks

I am unable to import into iTunes an album of songs in mp3 format.  I have tried
importing the album and each song separately, to no avail.  Has anyone an idea
why this is happening?  Is there a way to reconvert the song into another type
mp3 format (assuming such exists)?
