Slice or section a part to see its internals. Instantly change the background, transparency, textures, and drawing colors, then markup and share a screenshot immediately via email. Turn on the camera to view your design within our real world or change the render engine to see blueprint-style with hidden line. Build your own custom mobile solution using the vueCAD(R) engine.
vueCAD(R) supports all major mesh formats including STL, PLY, OBJ, Blender, Collada and many of the Autodesk formats. Available as in-app purchases, users can add support for STEP, JT, IGES, SolidWorks, Catia V5 / V4 / CGR, Unigraphics, Pro/E, Autodesk Inventor, SolidEdge, VDA, ACIS and Parasolids.

Until now, iOS users have only been able to stream surveillance video between two devices by using a wifi connection or their carrier's signal, which tethered them to specific areas and situations: Near a cell tower or in range of a wifi network they had access to. Just think of all the missed opportunities for espionage and [embarrassing] entertaining videos! Spy Bot intends to make up for lost time by giving users the ability to connect anytime and anywhere using bluetooth.
With Spy Bot, users can set up an impromptu connection between any two iDevices (iPhone, iPad or iPod touch). With a few taps, the streaming device's camera begins transmitting video to the receiver's screen. Users watch the streaming video and can initiate recording at any time. Set the streaming device in an inconspicuous location and let the undercover operation begin! If things get dicey, the receiver can press the "kill" button which cancels the connection and closes the program on both devices, keeping the user's anonymity safe.

Pro Compass replicates the look and feel of classic pocket compass hardware, adding modern features and technologies. Version 1.1 adds over 220 geodetic datums covering regions and countries on all continents around the world.
Williamsburg, Virginia - Pro Compass is the newest app from Hunter Research and Technology, developer of the popular Theodolite app series. Pro Compass replicates the look and feel of classic pocket compass hardware in use since the 1800s, adding modern features and technologies. The app uses advanced OpenGL graphics (normally reserved for games) to render 3D floating compass hardware for realistic operation.
Pro Compass offers nine different compass modes with needle, pointer, and rosette styles capable of displaying degrees, quads, or mils. The needle mode shows a proper "direct read" display. In all modes, Pro Compass shows both magnetic and true direction simultaneously, with a rotating outer true ring that is automatically adjusted for local magnetic declination.
Pro Compass displays location and altitude, with decimal, degree-minute-second, UTM, and MGRS position formats. The app also contains a built in two-axis inclinometer that drives two independent bubble levels and a bullseye level. The inclinometer has angle readout dials for each axis, making it useful for many different types of measurements including slopes, pitches, sight lines, and geological angles like dip and strike.
The new World Geodetic Datum Pack, available as an optional in-app purchase, adds over 220 new geodetic datums to the app for more accurate position and altitude computation from GPS data. Datums include NAD-27, NAD-83, OSGB-36, ED-50, and hundreds of others, covering regions and countries on all continents around the world. The new feature is targeted at professional, military, search and rescue, and outdoors users who need more accuracy from the GPS hardware on their iOS devices, or who want to work with specialized coordinate systems and grids in regions of operation all around the world.

During the winter, Bit of Mind has been busy preparing a major upgrade to their innovative exercise app Bit of Exercise. By listening carefully to their users and reviewers, Bit of Mind has pinpointed a couple of major areas in need of improvement. Those improvements, as well as many minor improvements, are included in Bit of Exercise's first major upgrade released today. With the introduction of a greatly simplified app navigation and a fresh new interface, the bar has once again been raised for how a great exercise app for the iPhone should look and behave.
Today Bit of Mind also introduces a Lite version of Bit of Exercise to allow users to test Bit of Exercise out before buying. Bit of Exercise Lite contains all the features of the full version but limits the number of exercises that can be recorded. With the introduction of Bit of Exercise Lite, Bit of Mind hopes that more people will get a taste of the Bit of Exercise experience and that they will be convinced to upgrade to the full version.
Every Bit Of Exercise Counts:
Bit of Exercise takes outdoor activities, such as running, cycling and walking, to a new level. No longer do users have to manually keep a record over their exercise data. Instead, Bit of Exercise will handle the recording the the exercises for them, using the iPhone's built in GPS. After completing an exercise the user will be able to review it in detail, compare it with a reference and share it with friends, all without ever leaving the iPhone.
Bit of Exercise introduces the concept of start and end criteria that fully automates the recording of exercises. No need to fiddle with the iPhone during workout. Instead the user can pocket their iPhone, take time to warm up or tie shoelaces and start at their convenience. Bit of Exercise will automatically start recording the exercise when the user leave the current location and end it upon return.
When advancing, the user will soon start to appreciate how Bit of Exercise allows combination of activities into multi-segment activity programs. This allows the creation of more complex exercises, such as interval, multi-sport and hill training programs. Start and end criteria can be setup based on locations, distances or durations for each individual segment. Combining this with the guidance from spoken announcements will give the user an amazing exercise coach in their iPhone.
After completing an exercise the user will appreciate the immediate access to the results. Graphs and maps can be zoomed, and the user can easily navigate to any location along their route for closer examination, all on their iPhone. No need to upload the exercise data to a website to properly analyze it. Neither do the user have to setup any accounts or pay any monthly fees.
