Simplify 2.5 Controls the Whole Music. Literally - Published on 02/14/13

Simplify is the first desktop remote controller for OS X that works with browser-based streaming music services like Pandora, Deezer and VK. Simplify for Mac was the simplest way to control Spotify from the off, and picked up Rdio and iTunes support up to the present. Today, Simplify is also able to control some browser-based streaming music services like Pandora, Deezer and VK (we still are working on providing the best experience while controlling web-based players via Simplify and encourage developers to join us on our GitHub). To control those players, you need to install browser extension - Google Chrome and Safari are currently supported browsers.

Pheed has picked and integrated features into one simple and fast app.
Cupertino, California - Pheed Limited announces Pheed 2.0.5 for iOS. Pheed is a free social media platform based out of Los Angeles that launched on October 12th, 2012. The accompanying iPhone app was released on November 12th, 2012, making its way into Apple's Top Charts in the first month.
Labeled by Forbes as "The New Twitter", Pheed enables users to upload and share all forms of digital content including text, photo, video, audio, and voice-note. In a sense, Pheed has cherry picked the features we love from other platforms and integrated them into one simple and fast app.
Users new to Pheed can create a channel directly from the app, subscribe to friends and people of interest, and view their subscribed channels' content in real time. They can 'love' or 'heartache' specific pheeds, hashtag and 'pheedback,' as well as share content from others' channels to their own via a feature called 'remix.'
Original content uploaded to Pheed is owned and controlled by the user, and the platform is without advertising. Users can search content via hashtags, and limit their search with filters that allow them to view specific content types (i.e. only photos, only videos, etc).
While it is free to join and use Pheed, users have the option to monetize their content if they wish to do so, either by applying a monthly subscription fee to their channel or setting up a pay-per-view live broadcast event through the web platform. Monetization is by no means the central feature on Pheed, the company simply thought it was fair to introduce the option to users; the idea being that content creators should be incentivized to create quality content for the web, whether it is for mass or niche scale.
Pheed aims to release an Android App in early 2013, and will continue to roll out exciting new products and features into 2013.

Rochester, New York - Hidden Creek Software has released an iPhone/iPad application called Graycode. This app is a handy, small and useful tool for engineers and scientists who need to quickly and accurately convert numbers among Decimal, Binary, Hex and most importantly Gray code.
The problem with natural Binary codes is that, with real mechanical or electrical switches, it is very unlikely that switches will change states exactly in synchronous way. In the transition between the state "001" to "010", two switches change state. In the brief period while both of them are changing, the switches will read some spurious positions and cause some noises or errors.
The reflected Binary code, also known as Gray code after Frank Gray, is a binary numeral system where two successive values differ in only a single bit. It is a non-weighted code.
The key feature of this app Graycode is that a user can type a number in any of the following numerical system, like Binary, Hex, Decimal or Gray code. The number key pad will change accordingly depending on the field the user types in. Therefore, there is no mistake which can be made by typing wrong values. For example, if a user tries to type a binary number of "101010" in the Binary number input field, the key pad will only show two numbers available to use, i.e., a '1' and '0'. If the user decides to type a Hex number, then other numbers like 'A', 'B', 'C' and others will be available as well.
When the user types one number in any given field (numerical system), the number will be converted instantly and show up in other fields (numerical systems) as well. The user can switch the input fields back and forth at any given time.
While Gray code is used extensively in modern digital circuit and mechanical system design to reduce switching noises and error, it is also well known to be used in solving ancient classic problems like a Hanoi Tower or a Chinese Ring Puzzle.
To make the app more visual appealing, an animated solution of a Hanoi Tower with three disks is also demonstrated in the app so that the user can have a visual understanding what a Gray code is and how it is different from a natural Binary code and how it can be used in a real world application.
Graycode has been localized in three different languages such as English, Chinese and Japanese.
