New York, New York - Ingengo is excited to announce a new version of KIDiPLAY Match for iOS that stands out from other memory games due to its unusual content: it lets kids match pictures, sounds and also pictures of objects that go together. Each game has three difficulty levels.
The new settings menu allows full control of the app features and makes the app a great teaching aid for parents and educators of special needs children with autism spectrum disorders, speech delays or visual impairment. Parents and educators can now add a voiceover for each picture and sound as the card is flipped and/or add a voiceover for pictures and sounds when they are matched. A special "freeze match" mode pauses the game when two cards are matched to allow time for discussion. Full control over which sets of pictures or sounds are active allows such discussions to center around the chosen sets, such as pictures or sounds related to transportation, animals, etc. All sounds and background music can be turned off, enabling children who are easily distracted by sounds to focus on the game. There is also an optional score at the end of each game that helps engage older kids.
With additional new content, KIDiPLAY Match now has over 80 pictures to match in the PICTURES game in six categories: food, transportation, animals, tools, musical instruments and clothing; over 50 sounds to match in the SOUNDS game in five categories: human, transportation, animals, birds and household; and over 60 pairs of objects that typically go together to match in the WHAT GOES TOGETHER game.
KIDiPLAY Match Lite is a great free introduction to KIDiPLAY Match. While carrying only a portion of the content, it has the full functionality of KIDiPLAY Match.
The range of skills practiced while playing KIDiPLAY Match or KIDiPLAY Match Lite is astounding. It includes cognitive skills such as short term memory, perception and concentration, fine motor skills; language skills such as phonology, vocabulary builder, receptive and expressive language skills; visual memory, visual perceptual motor skills and visual auditory integration; auditory skills (in the SOUNDS game only sounds are heard, and no pictures are displayed); and the critical thinking and categorical reasoning skills (in the WHAT GOES TOGETHER game).
Kids with impaired vision can enjoy the apps thanks to the optional voiceover for each card as it is flipped over and especially due to the game SOUNDS that is based entirely on matching sounds (no pictures are displayed).

Popular mobile app review website, AlphaDigits has released the names of top-rated apps, based on the reviews published in the website during the month of June 2012. The top spots in this month's list are occupied by iOS apps, including Pocket Snapper, Cars in Sandbox, Lulu in Polynesia, Haypi Dragon and LexiMobile HD. AlphaDigits has also started their promocode giveaway campaign this July and are also looking to review Mac apps.

Pocket Snapper (4.8/ 5): Photo Snapper helps them take professional images right from their iPhones by creating a virtual studio that could sharpen their skills. Thus, it makes a perfect photo shooting app for both professional and amateur photographers.It also has two iModels to let users take shots of them after downloading the videos. Pocket Snapper is compatible with iPhone 4, iPhone 4S, iPod touch (4th generation), iPad 2 Wi-Fi, iPad 2 Wi-Fi 3G, iPad (3rd generation) and iPad Wi-Fi 4G and requires iOS 4.3 or later. It costs $1.99.
Cars in Sandbox: Construction (4.8/ 5): This interactive car game app could enhance the fine motor skills of kids. After launching it, users could see eight different vehicles in the main screen and the kids need to explore all these different types of construction vehicles and their purposes. As this app is aimed towards pre-school kids, it has enough tasks to keep them engaged for hours. Cars in Sandbox: Construction is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.2 or later. It costs $2.99.
Lulu in Polynesia (4.7/ 5): This app helps kids explore Polynesia with three interesting characters - Lulu, her kitten Zazou and Chirpy, a bird that always tries to seek the attention of the users. It has a few small games to motivate the children to explore more. Apart from English, it also has French narration. Lulu in Polynesia is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch, and iPad and requires iOS 4.0 or later. If you could rush to the App Store, you can get it for $1.99.
Haypi Dragon (4.7/ 5): This physics based game lets users challenge players all around the world. The objective of the game is guiding the dragon to bomb the opponents within a few seconds. As users progress in their journey, they have to encounter the bosses. After gaining some expertise, users can also look to conquer the mysterious island that could reward them a lot more. This free app is compatible with iPhone, iPod touch and iPad and requires iOS 3.0 or later.
LexiMobile HD: This iPhone app comes loaded with thesaurus, search engines, Wikipedia and all other things a user needs to master the art of crosswords. They can also add their preferred search engines to it. Impressive! As all the words are loaded inside the app, it doesn't need any internet connection. LexiMobile HD is compatible with iPad and requires iOS 5.0 or later. This app costs $0.99. It also has an iPhone version.
While speaking about the future plans, Joe Ellen, the Editor of AlphaDigits said, "I think the time has arrived for us to change. We have decided to launch the promocode giveaway campaign from July and are also looking to review Mac apps. Video reviews would also be possible in the near future".

After numerous wars and several environmental disasters, only two world powers remain; The United Civilized States (UCS)and the Eurasian Dynasty (ED). There have been a number of small conflicts between the UCS and the ED, the last of which escalated and became a fierce and bitter war - the final world war. Only one side can win. This final war will decide who will get the last of the available natural resources and ultimately rule the world.

The most innovative feature of MacMate Galleries is the ability to create a Gallery with just one click or drag-and-drop a folder into the Galleries folder on the MacMate disk on the users desktop - instantly creating an online Gallery. Users can then adjust the theme, title and description of the Gallery with just a few clicks of the mouse. The galleries are displayed online at various optimised resolutions including Retina options and lower resolution and formatting for iPhone and iPad.

Apple has come under a lot of criticism for it's handling of the discontinuation of MobileMe, which closed it's doors on the 30th June - leaving hundreds of thousands of users scrambling to find replacements, download their iDisk data and re-publish their websites. This combined with several outages in May and June of their iCloud and Email service. iCloud is the replacement for MobileMe but Apple has decided it does not want to be in the web hosting business anymore and has dropped this and true cloud-storage from it's free iCloud service. Galleries in particular were tightly built-in to MobileMe and therefore it's very difficult to migrate users library of galleries to other providers.

We have some very big shoes to fill and we just hope we can build on what Apple wanted MobileMe to be in the first place whilst putting our own stamp on it. We're not looking to compete directly with iCloud, just make MacMate elegant and intuitive in it's design and function, robustly reliable and fast. We've learnt a lot from Apple on much of this ethos."

MacMate now includes Galleries - the easiest way to create online photo galleries for users to share online with family and friends.
"It's easy. All you need is a Mac, a mouse and some photos," claims their website.
The most innovative feature of MacMate Galleries is the ability to create a Gallery with just one click or drag-and-drop a folder into the Galleries folder on the MacMate disk on the users desktop - instantly creating an online Gallery. Users can then adjust the theme, title and description of the Gallery with just a few clicks of the mouse. The galleries are displayed online at various optimised resolutions including Retina options and lower resolution and formatting for iPhone and iPad.
Barry Rhodes, lead developer for the Galleries feature said "We've helped thousands of customers move their iWeb sites from MobileMe to MacMate and the main feature request was Galleries, to replace MobileMe's gallery feature. So we prioritised that and came up with some gorgeous themes and a really easy to use interface and creation method. We're really pleased with the result. The aim was to make it easy, great looking and to really showcase users photos without any distracting interface options. We think we've achieved that and are working to add and improve it further."

MacMate combine the best in web hosting - supporting one-click publishing from iWeb (as well as applications like Rapidweaver, Freeway, Sandvox and Dreamweaver) with a desktop-mounted cloud disk, fully featured "business class" email and now Galleries. It's controlled from a simple web interface with an iOS app for iPhone and iPad in development. MacMate is a single-price product at $119 per year. Users can increase the disk space up to 100gig, increase emails from 3 to as many as required and can add existing domains or register them with MacMate.

When asked about the app Sean said, "I wrote the App with the issues my sister had mentioned in mind, and with the mindset of being simple and useful to a drive within the context of their daily job. I wanted to make sure the app provided the information that was needed, but also do it in a way that ensure quick and simple access to that information.
