With an exceptional academic record, and plenty of iOS development experience, James Munro has been a valuable member of the Kwalee development team since the early days, earning him the new role Team Leader/Programmer.
At just 24 years old, James has been involved with iOS development since 2009, working on 15 iPhone apps for high profile businesses and individuals at Sync Studios, producing creative ideas and gaining very good technical knowledge. But James says it was always his intention to break into the games industry:
"It has been an excellent experience at Kwalee and I have had the opportunity to work with some legends of the games industry. As a company, I'm confident that we will begin to climb the App Store rankings and produce some really engaging games."
James joined Kwalee at the very beginning in September 2011 and has since been at the heart of the team for Kwalee's iOS games Gobang Social, which is out already out, and Pussy Flip, available to download next month.
His extensive qualifications include a First Class degree in Games Computing as well as MSc Computing by Research from the University of Lincoln, showing a natural talent for programming.

Description:
Intego has discovered a new Trojan horse, Crisis, which is a Trojan dropper. This Trojan horse has not been found in the wild, but it exhibits some anti-analysis and stealthing techniques that are uncommon among OS X malware.
This threat works only in OSX versions 10.6 and 10.7 - Snow Leopard and Lion. It installs without need of any user interaction; no password is required for it to run. The Trojan preserves itself against reboots, so it will continue to run until it's removed. Depending on whether or not the dropper runs on a user account with root permissions, it will install different components. It remains to be seen if or how this threat is installed on a user's system; it may be that an installer component will try to establish root permissions.
If the dropper runs on a system with root access, it will drop a rootkit to hide itself. In either case, it creates a number of files and folders to complete its task; 17 files when it's run with root access, 14 files when it's run without. Many of these are randomly named, but there are some that are consistent.

Each face includes three options for every capital letter and multiple lowercase options, including for example, special characters that automatically substitute-in at the ends of words. Other features include four swashy decorative elements and optional old-style figures accessible by supporting application's OpenType menu.

With unlimited rounds to a game, players can draw something for their friends. If their drawing skills are not great, or it takes their fancy, they could alternatively shoot or open a photo, then draw on it, tracing its details. When the photo is optionally removed, only the drawing remains. The player identifies the drawing with a single word, and his or her opponent must correctly guess the word associated with the drawing from 12 lettered tiles. When the drawing is received, players find out the number of letters in the word they are guessing, plus which 12 letters they have to work with. Once the drawing is correctly identified, or the player gives up, players reverse roles.
Snappa is Words with Friends in pictures. To create a new game, players can email an invitation generated by the game, allow the game server to pair them with a random opponent, contact someone already registered to play Snappa, or contact a Facebook Friend. Players can participate in multiple, simultaneous, 2-player games, receiving alerts as each of their games progresses. The Snappa online server, which connects players during gameplay, provides fast responses. Registration to become a Snappa player is free.

Gold coins, won during gameplay, can be redeemed for more vibrant colors or additional bombs as players use up their initial supply.
